Just wanted toto say, I'm not a big sports talk guy. I don't watch much but the games. All the blather, yelling, posturing etc I find so annoying. But I really enjoy your analysis and delivery. Great job.
Our biggest issue with the passing game is the fact that we don’t use the tight ends enough and everything seems to be a go route with aj or even smitty at times. Speaking of smitty he too doesn’t get used a ton in games also lol offense looks so limited once it’s opened up we can score at will
Don't use the tight ends, don't use the slot, don't throw screens to the best screen running back in the league. All because Hurt's 6'1 stature prevents him from seeing over linemen/defensive linemen in front of him ...this is why that if it's not Schemed or decided before the play who is going to get the ball, he always looks to run outside the pocket to get a clearer view of receivers.
Good work and insight. I just joined your webpage. Keep it up. I also keep hearing and beginning to notice that there were no catches in the middle of the field. I wonder why Hurts is not throwing in that area.
I think the offense keeps evolving each game. I think it was both a mix of not having A.J for half the year and other injuries that made the offense a lot more simplified. It's a new system and they are slowly implementing more to it. I think in the next couple games we are going to see a lot more dynamic offense that utilizes the middle of the field. I have seen Hurts throw to middle of the field with a ton of success so its not a "Hurts can't do it" thing.
Quinyon is dope, I just hope we don't start treating him the way we treat Slay. Slay was shutting folks like Justin Jefferson down and now we act like it has never happened
You nailed it RB, the passing game cannot just rely on the deep verticals to AJ and must get better as both the short and intermediate crosses in the middle of the field bc this controls time of possession whereas the deep passes are risky hit or miss and they will not move far in the playoffs unless this is addressed... And worst part is we do have the receivers for this in Devonta, Dallas and even AJ but the issue is Jalen so it is the coach's job to make him comfortable with this weakness in his game if they really expect to have SB aspirations!!!
@@s.a.classic874 Unfortunately, I'm not quite sure of that, esp on the miss to Devonta on the 3rd down b4 AJ's td AND Saquon's missed walk-in screen pass td at the goal line as it was the actual play call & Jalen completely missed it :-/// But the mixed play calling philosophy is totally asinine I agree 1000% there!!!
I just want to see Dotson have a couple of good games we gave up a 3rd for nothing we did better using da receivers we got on da roster already if they was planning on using him like they use him
Where do people get this nonsense? You're obviously just repeating crap you heard somewhere. Because a QB who has completed close to 70% of his passes with a higher QBR than Patrick Mahomes is clearly doing more than just throwing go-balls to AJ. Either that or Hurts has the highest go-ball completion percentage in the history of the NFL. Which one do you think is more likely? These goofy fans, man.🤦♂
@@Fatal4life504 Totally agreed!!! But the issue is Jalen's problem with progressions bc if it's not having time to throw a deep vertical to AJ then forget about progressions to the 2nd receiver let alone the 3rd & 4th like Dotson is...
Hurts is holding this team back big time. They need to check his eyesight, he constantly does not see wide open players. His little pea brain still freezes up under pressure and he still can not read defenses and his pocket presence sucks.
At some point you have to look at the QB for why there’s no throws in the middle of the field. Three different coordinators but still similar plays, maybe it has to do with his height or just don’t feel comfortable throwing in the middle.
And obviously the defense hasn't figured it out. They've played against two terrible offensive lines and quarterbacks that take a ton of sacks. If they can do something similar on Sunday then maybe I'll be more optimistic
"They were bad teams" argument is so weak! As a team with Super Bowl aspirations, they did EXACTLY what a good team should do, which is dominate lesser opponents. These last 2 games are momentum builders.
If they put Hurts under center more and he can handle it plus throwing down the middle this team would average 40+ per game. It’s pretty annoying watching them run to routes constantly. AJ Brown has his best number on slants and usually get tons of YAC on slants as well. Frustrating to watch them not even attempt it
I can't for the life of my understand why they NEVER snap under center??? It's Shotgun 99 percent of the time!!! You have a downhill back like Barkley and all your doing is those stupid RPO's up the middle...it's ridiculous...no rollouts, no misdirection It's my guess Hurts just can't play under center ..that's got to be it
He has thrown over the middle....Smittys game winning TD vs the Browns and Goederts game break/save catch at the end of the Saints game were both shallow crossers that used natural picks to get open.
Who will end up being the better DB for the Eagles? Quinyon or DeJean?
Quinyon

Can we agree he's a one read spread quarterback
Why not both? 😊
Both

This week against Chase & Higgins should be the true test though...hold your horses
I was so excited when we got Barkley. He didn't disappoint

Slay did it to himself being a chatty patty
He got old bruh. It happens to every vet. He ain’t elite no more. Jefferson got him again a year later
All NFL " teams are capable of defeating another team on any giving day. They all are professional...... So a win is a win.......go birds..
Quinton is damn good, but DeJean is even better! We hit on our 2 top picks.
Great video RB💥🔥🦅

Q, DeJawn, JC & JD, & Sy Brown are the future of this D
I told everyone hes Charles Woodson.

We have a great RB, now we should have a run first mentality, ground and pound.
Yesterday was Qs first big time match up? He played Big time match ups all season bruh
Q has dropped an INT in all 6 games... 3 of them likely pick 6's. It's only a matter of time. He should be in the running for DPOY.
I too still can’t believe the Giants let Barkley go and worse inside their own Division. WORD!!! That’s Terrible management.
Jalen can throw effectively over the middle if the coach can be creative and devise simple routes for him....
And obviously the defense hasn't figured it out. They've played against two terrible offensive lines and quarterbacks that take a ton of sacks. If they can do something similar on Sunday then maybe I'll be more optimistic

Pretty sure Evans was his 1st big time match up
It seems like Jalen hurts is afraid to go to the middle of the field for some reason
We should be 5-2 if not for that Atlanta game smfh. Also, the Giants got beat by the whole division already😂
Don't forget Quinyon already balled against prennial All Pro WR Mike Evans, Nabers is really good, He's no Mike Evans

I say this every week. Way too much shotgun. I think having Saquon has bailed us out a lot

Yall keep saying Jalen can’t read a defense like he’s not on his 3rd OC 😂 bozos
why do yall praise this team when they play good against a bad team
🦅🦅
Best win because against an easy team.
It’s time to get a new qp tho he too one dimensional
I was scammed at the TV why are he not throwing any over the middle I just don't understand this why are they not throwing over the middle
He has thrown over the middle....Smittys game winning TD vs the Browns and Goederts game break/save catch at the end of the Saints game were both shallow crossers that used natural picks to get open.
Please don't start Maddox again you heard
Maybe Hurts can't see the middle of the field
The eagles don't use the middle of the field because Hurts can't read defenses well. Most of his int's have been in the middle.
Bro be quiet
@@robertreid1722Thank you!!
@@robertreid1722 he's right
He only uses 11. Very limited qb.
Umm 😂you must be a giant or cowboy fan
