    A well done video, good work. After years of owning and selling just about all types of shotguns, I have settled on the more beautiful old hammer guns in cartridge and muzzle loading. I have now the joy of owning and shooting the antiques rather than worrying about my score card..

    Poly choke? Don't remember the gold lettering but my uncle had one on his very early Remington 1100. When I was a kid, he used it to become the state trap shooting champion! So, I guess it worked pretty well.

    There's something very special about shotguns, especially high quality builds like these. Have you ever seen a Perugini in person? I've been lucky enough to find an older shotgun with a mechanical trigger and carrier barrel. What a joy clay shooting becomes when the trigger is right every time. 😉. Cheers.

    That .22 Martini henry is a rare thing. Well, there are a lot of .22 Martini Henry rifles out there but what is interesting about that one is the fact it is a mark IV MH. Most of the .22 conversions were either Mark I/II or mark III rifles. The Mark IV Martini Henry has an interesting history and probably 95% of them were sent to India and then Nepal. So seeing a C.G bonehill (who did most of the .22 conversions) Mark IV is a rare thing indeed.

    When you're picking these guns up and saying this is nice and this is not nice; what are the factors that define these categories? For example, is it the way they look, feel, shoot, how well made they are, how often they break etc

    • @fullchoke01
      @fullchoke01 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Materials used, craftmanship, fit and finish, internal action design, trigger pulls, barrel regulation, balance point, reliability, a well made gun is easy to see when you handle it if you know what you are looking at

    • @tgsoutdoors
      @tgsoutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The way I have seen it done in the past is to send the gun to NI and then have it sent across the border. This way costs about £120 i think. Best to email holts to see what they charge direct.

    In Asia area, if someone has those many guns as you showed, would be put in jail for more than 10000 years or shot to death by government soon!
    Nobody is allowed to buy any kinds of gun privately, no legal guns can be bought, no import permitted, absolutely no!
    All Asia countries governments don’t like people own guns, there’s very strict and unreasonable restrictions of guns and knives. Some shows people are allowed to buy guns, but it’s nominally only, all will be denied actually, nobody is allowed. There’s no real democracy, freedom and human right at all; governments are cheating people / other countries in the world.
    Some areas’ people are still under dictatorial & totalitarian ruling; even there’s declared democracy, government still using strict laws which were settled in the period of martial law implemented; what’s martial law? martial law is “no law”, that’s rulers can do whatever they want to do; rulers ordered soldiers used machine guns, rifles, bayonet, grenade to slaughter people, rapped women and killed them all; even innocent people and children down the knees in streets for no killing, soldiers still killed them all. If someone has any kinds of gun or knife which is longer than 2 feet, someone got pulled out of house then shot to death on the front of door, let all neighbors look at the process; even caught people without reason then dug people’s eyes, internal organs, cut people’s bodies; so that’s called terrible ruling. Now, people are still controlled as the past; some areas’ have election systems, but government officials just want to get ruling power through election campaign system, and keep ruling power at all. Many good people can not be allowed to own guns, they are innocent, very unreasonable. There are many cases of unreasonable, corruption, illegal smuggling, bad officials. Some bad guys, anti-gun people and bad officials promote anti-guns & more strict restrictions of guns, but they do guns smuggling “under ground”, through “white gloves” to get money from illegal guns smuggled; they are looked clean & upright in surface but dirty in fact; they have to be severe punished, those damned guys should be shot to death indeed!

    Please sell your guns to Asia areas; there’s seldom Asia people own legal gun; as BBC reported, Asia areas is a new market.
    Asia people got very strict & unreasonable restrictions of guns & knives for more than half century, many people are eager to buy guns for hunting, shooting sports or self defense; but nobody is allowed actually, there’s no legal guns & cartridges can be bought & bring back home. Got against guns & knives laws, punishment is very severe, can be up to get shot to death by government; many people are still under dictatorial & totalitarian ruling. If it’s lasting, people want to buy guns maybe in next life or their young generations have no chance forever.
    So, please let European countries & US gather to knock open Asia areas’ “iron cover”, ask even press Asia countries/areas’ governments to amend laws, let Asia people can buy guns & cartridges legally & freely, and be managed reasonably.

    • @Phoenix_Atlas
      @Phoenix_Atlas 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the average citizen would have no way of helping you. With so many western countries trying to take away our rights to own guns. Like here in America for example. I am stockpiling guns and ammo in preparation for potential armed conflict between civilians. Gotta keep my family safe somehow. If that's how i must do it then so be it. Anyway, i think it would take multiple government bodies or even war to get Asian countries governments to amend your laws to allow firearm possession. My wholehearted advise is just try your best to get your family out of whatever country you are in.

    • @tonylipton4068
      @tonylipton4068 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Phoenix_Atlas Thank you for your advice. It’d better do so. Many Asia areas got messy, battles maybe happen at any second; if got extended, may rise World war; people are tight, avoid those things.
      Be safe; God bless always.
