    "You can tell a lot by a country by the way they treat their animals." Ghandi

    • @royroberts5925
      @royroberts5925 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that actually is a hoax. "A very common quote attributed to Mahatma Gandhi runs as follows: "Greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." This quote is used often by stray dog advocacy groups to oppose a Western solution to the menace these creatures pose to Indians. Well-known authors also brandish this quote but without a footnote/bibliographical citation. But unfortunately, for animal activists of all stripes, the fact is that this is a quote that Gandhi never uttered in his life. Exhaustive research by Australian author, lecturer and radio commentator, Philip Johnson, establishes that this is a quote attributed to Gandhi by an unknown author who wanted to cast the Mahatma in a romanticised light. The quote is also not in sync with Gandhi's actual views and practices with regard to some animals." source is the Hindustan Times

    It’s a shame this once beautiful and prosperous country could not evolve from a ANC terrorist organisation into a democratic government as Mandela saw it. Today South Africa is noting more than a 3rd world state. One point I would disagree on is the economic boycotts on the country over 2 decades or more had very little impact on the countries economics and played no part in the political change. The external western world never understood South Africa and frequently said many things in favour of Mandela but never practiced its support.

    • @AliciaGuitar
      @AliciaGuitar 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They also left out the crimes of Winnie Mandela. She supported the practice of tire necklacing. Innocents were killed under her orders. She was not the saintly devoted wife the doc makes her out to be. I would venture to say she might be a big influence on the current problems today as she taught gang tactics and violence to get her way.

    Your commentary on Haile Selassie was informative in 1 sense but very narrow in the conclusion. Because you see it through a certain lens. However H.I.M is so much much more than was narrated here.. His reign and his global impact cannot be quantified! Time will tell who he is as the sheeple wake up! He is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah who opened the seven seals that was written of in Revelation make no mistake. Who else can ever claim that title? And those who’s 3rd eyes open know who he is ! And care not what the “world “ “says “ . Because it’s written “When you are a freind of God you are a enemy of the world “ …👑His Majesty’s reign forever nuh guy can’t sit on his throne!🔥

    Genetic studies of mummies of ancient Egyptians show they were related to peoples from Europe, Anatolia, and the Levant - NOT "Africans"
    Calling ancient Egyptians, Africans, merely due to geography or a DNA intermix that didn't take place until THOUSANDS of years later, is like calling Canadians (or Elizabeth Warren), indigenous natives
    From a genetic study published in Nature: "Genomic material showed that ancient Egyptians shared little DNA with modern sub-Saharan Africans. Instead, their closest relatives were people living during the Neolithic and Bronze ages in an area known as the Levant. Strikingly, the mummies were more closely related to ancient Europeans and Anatolians than to modern Egyptians. The researchers say that there was probably a pulse of sub-Saharan African DNA into Egypt roughly only about 700 years ago."
    So Anwar Sadat perhaps, but definitely not Ramesses, Hatshepsut, etc.

      What? You want to Europeanize Obviously African people because of the Science. Here some real Science for you. Race has no scientific bases until Europeans created it. Most Anthropologists today agree that every so called race originated in Africa. We know that Europeans have a long history of white washing history. Europeans don’t live in the desert and do not have the same cultural norms. In Europe you don’t have a longer history than Africans.

    • @jasonwilliams3883

      Europeans segregated lower Africa from Northern Africa to continue the legacy of race miseducation. Europeans did not build any thing remotely close to what Africans created in Ethiopian, and the Cush created the DNA of Europeans goes from African people because they were here first. So breaking down DNA percentages is pseudoscience. For example. Most African blacks have European DNA markers. Does not mean we created stone hing.

    How sad that ALL the old African nations have been conquered so many times by their neighbors; so much so that the rightful coloring (the skin tone of Egyptians) has been distorted by modern "Egyptologists." If you do more research (reading books from those who worked/intensively studied on the Rosetta stone, or from the 'golden age of Egyptology' is a good start) too many people who've devoted their entire professional careers in this study have concluded that those who govern Egypt now are not those who it belongs to now. They ("true" Egyptians) were significantly more brown. Their hair (upper class depicted in hieroglyphics) was coarse and could be adorned with crowns. Egyptians were/are Africans, although today the people in power are tan. Just like Americans today, are much different looking than they were only 400 years ago.

    Classifying those three dictator god-kings as "leaders of Africa", alongside Mandela, is pretty grotesque, almost amusingly so tbh.
    At least the Egyptian dictator god-kings have the excuse that they lived thousands of years ago, and ruled one of the greatest most influential civilizations in human history.
    Selassie was a dictator god-king in the twentieth century ffs (even the fascists were more democratic than he ever was).
    And contrary to popular belief (among deranged British neo-crusader monarchy fetishists), Ethiopia has never remotely been a "great civilization". It's always been a shithole, more or less.
    Obviously, by Ethiopia, I mean the Amharic speaking hinterlands of what was once called Abyssinia. Not the Tigrinya-speaking areas near the coast, that's a whole different thing.
