To add to the Cassidy thing, if you ARE gonna keep Deadeye, then it could lock onto his grenade if he threw it immediately before. You have 6 bullets against 5 targets, I don't see why not. But if you switch it to the akimbo ultimate, then he could get his rollout back when you pop ult, kinda like how Genji get's dash when he uses blade. I like these ideas, these are fun creative ideas

You can get more targets than just 6 in high noon.
For example: Ashe and Echo are on the enemy team. Ashe and Cassidy are on your team (you are Cass).
Enemy Echo turns into Ashe. The enemy team uses two Ashe ultimates, spawning 2 Bobs.
2 Bobs + 5 Players = 7 Deadeye targets
Your deadeye still works and hits all the targets. The ultimate doesn't keep track of how many bullets are in your gun.

But no, you really went explaining with the rarest situation of needing all these condition fulfilled at the same time:
-You’re Cassidy
-Your team needs: Ashe
-Their team needs: Ashe and Echo
-You grind your ult before they gets theirs.
-Enemy Echo and Ashe gets their ult around the same time.
-Echo DECIDES to copy your Ashe, instead of DVa, Ramattra, Reinhardt, Orisa or whoever.
-Ashe launches her Bob at the same time as Echo copy launches her Bob.
-You get a good view of the whole enemy team, and your team don’t kill a single one of them. And hopefully the Bobs don’t shoot you down.
-Ult, maybe the enemy can’t hide.
-Shoot 7.
Imagine deadeye gave you one or two extra grenades to throw for the duration for easy locks to mix in some area damage.

As a console player my tip for fighting junkrat is that if you don't walk into his projectiles you don't take any damage. Hope it helps!
As a console player I can confirm that if you shoot at him from medium range, and then avoid the red balls that look like they blow up, he dies and you live. Works on most characters 😊
Also placing your crosshair on him and pressing buttons will actually cause his HP to go down too!

As a Mercy player during that time, I hated Mass res. Gave me anxiety everytime I had to use it, cos there was always someone on my team who'd berate me for not using it "correctly". Was so glad it got taken away. I'd be happy if Res got replaced with a different ability. One that I could use more than once every 30 seconds...

I never even heard the rumor that echo was planned to be a support by the devs, I only heard that she *should've* been a support due to her backstory and creation.
Dr. Liao, one of the main engineers and creators of the omnics, was devastated when the omniums she built began to make malicious war machines, so she wanted to make a new robot, an echo of herself, who could save the world, protect the innocent, and heal the wounded.
And instead she made one of the most devastating and efficient killing machines the likes of which no one had ever seen before
It is confirmed in volume 2 of the art book that she was originally made to be a support - one that would attach to other heroes (presumably teammates) like a parasite and act as a turret - but ultimately was scrapped for quite apparent reasons (that would be confusing to play against and with)

Ok, that Cassidy rework idea is kinda fire. I like the grenade idea and I also REALLY like the dual revolver high noon idea. Maybe HN also resets Cass's cooldowns as well like Genji? Idk, but I actually sure enjoy that idea for Cass.
The ult idea is like genji, a temporary transformation mode to go in and do damage, and it is something more heroes, especially damage heroes, could utilise.
The frag grenade idea is actually awesome I'm totally down for it as a Cassidy main
I like the Cassidy changes for his Grenade except for Deadeye. Deadeye isn't that good in its current state yes, but it's mainly because he literally turns into the sun and can't use abilities while using it. I think he should be able to use his roll while using deadeye, but just his roll. It's so you can dodge stun abilities like Sleep or Rock and still have a decent change of at least not getting it canceled. And really he shouldn't have this bright aura around him when using it. Soldier still gets bodied if someone gets the jump on him while using visor, so there's really no point in having an outline around Cassidy when he uses Deadeye. Deadeye to me is Cassidy's iconic ability and shouldn't be changed too much.
Letting Cass have a single roll during High Noon would be a pretty nice buff that isn't too powerful, actually.

Reins one hit kill is something you kinda have to go out of your way to get. Not only do you put yourself deep in the crap to get one kill, which if you hit the Tank you probably won’t, you leave your team without a massive barrier of defense. OW1 you could kinda get away with it with two tanks but now it’s very risky.
You can't even kill anyone above 225hp either. With hog you could (not anymore though haha fuck you hog mains)
Yeah from max to medium distance it is basically dodgeable by just walking especially if there is cover and during that time Rein can also be deleted as he is going pure offense. And once it's done even if he gets a kill he is still surrounded so usually it's a short range ability. Hog can hook you from miles away consistently and if he misses there is no punishment other than being able to use abilities that could get CCd
Doesn’t matter if it’s the hardest thing to do or the easiest. If a tank being able to combo you is unhealthy for the state of the game then a tank that can actually one-shot you is definitely unhealthy for the state of the game.
@@paytonyoder1260 Rein can do it but if 1/5 are a successful one shot then I don’t think it’s that bad. Sure, one shots aren’t great but with Rein you at least know exactly how you screwed up. It’s not like Hog where he could just magically rip you from behind cover and back to spawn.
@@paytonyoder1260 I've been killed by Sigma's rock-primary 10x more often than Rein's extremely easy to dodge charge. He's also not remotely meta and Orisa and Ram totally bully him. I love seeing a Rein when I play tank, because he's counterable as hell.

i do like the idea around the change to cass ultimate, but i also find it sumwhat redundant considering what we already have in the game. besides yes highnoon can be ass(most of the time tbh), but it is still one of the more threataning ults if you dont play around it. a frag nade definintly would be intresting, bastions nade currently is the closest that is both a mix of frag and sticky.(infact bastion for that supposed rework basicly fills mostly what those changes would do)
i still remember when they removed junkrat taking self dmg from his primary is a change that everyone i knew who played him wanted it back purly to kill them self in things like grav.

How can someone complain about Rein's CHARRRRRRGE? You can dodge it just by sprinting as 76, the Rein has to be a beast of a man and position himself like a god to consistantly hit that shit

i dont even have to sprint to avoid rein charge half the time, just a simple side step on most heroes then i can just watch him bonk like a fool.
You can easily bait and avoid roads hook just as easily as rein's charge though

I am not gonna lie I kinda agree with that "brig was not the reason ow1 died" because yes brig probably made a lot of people leave the game and she was an absolute menace (I played her a lot because of how busted she was) but 3/4 of the people I knew that played ow1 left months before brig was even released.
The game was already dying, saying that she is the sole reason is just lying, but she was a breaking point for a lot of players
I would say that it was moth meta Mercy that killed the game, then Brig cleaned up what Mercy destroyed.

I think it would be cool if cass had like caltrops or something. Gives him some defense, would slow an enemy and do enough damage that he could then one shot with a headshot. That way the other person can react, unlike with flashbang, and it would take more than just a cheap body shot for the kill.
There are nowhere near enough slow effects in the Support class. Sonar is also such an underused utility. Hanzo arrow, sombra hack, widow ult. Just such niche heros two of which being the same archetype. At the very least I'm glad Ram has a slow but all the good debuff or info ultiity feels like it's not in the support role.

As a console player that guy represents us horrifically like holy. The only thing I can agree with fully is push isn't that bad of a mode and colloseum isn't a bad map. Toronto though can burn.
Fellow console player, push sounds fun on paper but most of my matches end up having a clear winner pretty early on but take forever anyways because of spawn advantage. That being said, I am by no means a high rank player and probably have the biased view of a low rank pleb.

I don't think it is fair at all for you to wish that Hog is unplayable. I have always played Hog since the open beta of OW1, I will continue to play him even with the nerfs. I would never wish for Rein to be unplayable and the state he is in currently is sad. I don't get the hypocrisy. Every character should be as viable as possible, end of story.
That console guys take on monetization was a W. Basically bro was saying that it's cool to monetize the new skins, but old OW1 skins should still be easily accessible for free
If Cass had 2, 60 dmg frags that had a smaller, yet similar effect to bastions where it pushes peope you could do so many cool damage/bounce people into angles you can hs them

The best designed character has to be ball the fact that he’s a hamster in a hamsterball which is also a wreaking ball with a grapple as well as him being a genius and was a fighter in Junkertown makes his character so engaging and it feels like so much thought was put into his character
With the frag grenade, you could also have it so that he can cook it by holding it before throwing so that it can blow up right infront of him or a few seconds after he throws it.
If someone talking about overwatch doesn’t know how to pronounce Brigitte’s name immediately stop listening to anything they say.
If Rein could charge into the backline and vape all his health back with damage reduction, sure, charge would be insane. But charge is fine because if it kills me in one hit, I'm either badly positioned or he's now in my team with no get out of jail free card. That's not even "gotta be high tier to understand why", I'm gold and I understand why those things aren't even remotely similar.

People complain about Rein's pin for the wrong reasons.
The issue isn't that it can one-shot. He literally has to throw himself into the enemy team and can't attack or defend himself while he's moving. Forcing yourself to essentially be self-stunned is a fair trade-off for being able to 1-tap squishes. The issue is that the ability is still clunky as hell and inconsistent with it's targeting and because they haven't fully fixed it it can feel cheap or unfair when you get pinned sometimes.
I'd much rather a hero be a throw pick then the META. There's an important difference between a Hero being the worst and being the best. and it's that every other hero in that role effectively becomes a throw pick when one hero is clearly the best.
It's so funny when Tik Tokers use the "I was around when X character was like that" as a justification for their opinion. Like yea dude 90% of the playerbase back then were gold and below, and 100% of those players are STILL gold and below. Just because you've been around a long time doesn't mean you know shit xD
Thats a very stupid argument to make. those 10% that was above was also there and no 100% of those are not still gold & below. But many are because with the changes they made to OW2 bronze became the new gold. So people that were gold back then would be bronze now.
However everyone was there to see how they made road trash we were also there to see how boring the game became. Then they brought his one shot back because players complained about it and once they did the game became fun again.
Apparently they didnt learn their lesson and now the game is shit again.

Every role need to have better understanding of other roles, not only support.
be it by playing other roles or watching online people who play other roles. even queuing with other people and see how they think in different situations.
The Cassidy take is interesting, however, as a McCassidy player I feel like being precise and being able to aim is what really makes him satisfying, so having a second gun that reduces accuracy probably won’t be the way to go imo. I think the grenade thing is cool but it might be too similar to Ashe. And the ultimate change seems to similar to soldier. I personally like his ult albeit being pretty trashy
For that last one, technically speaking the best designed hero in the game is ana. Amazing kit, amazing utility, balanced through her not having any mobility. Ana is just an overall great character and the best designed. Most skillfull character is...complicated. I'd say its ball because of his high skillfloor and insane skillceiling.

I don't know how many players back in 2016 that are still playing now, but totally agree with Seagull about the Mercy changes. It was so frustrating when a Mercy full team rez but I learnt how to play against it if you had your Ult ready after the Mercy rez use it as the enemy team would be grouped together perfect for a Hanzo Dragon, Junk Riptire or Reaper Death Blossom.
I don't remember the game ever feeling bullshit with mercy using mass rez after a team fight. It was mostly better to rez two or three as they died during a fight, and you only went for the five man if you wanted potg. I remember you'd just always look out for the mercy and most of the time you killed her as she flew in, or you didn't blow all ultimates before mercy rez'd. Gold/platinum lobbies understood this. It was better when it was 6v6, whereas Mercy now actually feels bullshit when you cannot get a pick with her flying about where she is impossible to even try and kill.

The tik tok at 12:00 is makes console look so bad. I am a console player who finally climbed out of Silver and am currently Plat. I am still climbing because I have been watching you Flats and listening to your advice. It has helped me a lot so thank you for the great advice. Junkrat in the higher elos is difficult to use except his tire or his random lucky shots. But Junk against a good console widow isn't even a fair fight. As soon as you take off with Junkrat you're dead. You have to play corners, point, tank, and sometimes flank. If you try to play point without your tank and the enemy has a pocketed Sojourn or even just a sniper character you're dead as Junkrat. I can tell you with confidence that the guy in the clip at 12:00 is Gold 4 or lower.
“Lucky shots”? Do you mean the spray and pray spam that every Junkrat player does because his grenades are both timed and proximity somehow? “Lucky shots” is literally how Junkrat is played. Why would Junkrat play point when there’s literally no downside to playing forever away from the point cause there’s no damage fall off and the timer is stupidly long.
@paytonyoder1260 spray and pray that's funny😂. You can also play Junkrat aggressive though and for playing the the point I meant the capture game mode. You can aim with him, but like you said junkrat does heavily rely on the spray and pray technique

Exactly the devs buffing and nerfing based off of pick rate is dumb makes 0 sense. They should nerf based on things like can i carry the match based on who i pick aka hog who needs a nerf and I’m a hog main. What they should nerf is the hook range so I can’t young some one from cross map.

I wish people would just let characters to be bad. Not every character has to be meta every single season. They should try to shake it up every season but have a general idea what type of meta they want like when they banned heroes, still can't believe they went that far, so that every player has seasons where they can climb but top players will maintain because they can be adaptable in ways lower elo players can not be.

That last guy revealed why his hottakes were consistently bad when he mentioned Junkrat being OP. Junkrat's a good character in all levels, but he's really only unstoppable in Bronze through Gold, maybe Platinum, so that's the realm he's playing in

Getting rid of fan the hammer and swapping it for a second pistol sounds fun. You could argue why not have only one primary fire to fire both, but having one tied to each trigger sounds fun and more immersive and allows you to shoot them however you want at the same time or alternating which sounds fun. Reminds me of like a timesplitters or halo like dual wielding of having 2 revolvers. I guess reaper and tracer have dual wielding already but it could work differently.

The Cas rework idea reminded me of something I’ve been thinking on for a while now. As a COD kid and Sombra main (im sorry btw) I’d love to see her hack utilized more like the Black Hat does in cod where hacking things like a Torb turret would make it friendly instead of just disabling it and just center her kit around the idea of dealing with “equipment” like that. Idk exactly what all would be on the hackable list but I think the idea of dealing with cooldowns after they happen instead of preventing them before would be much more engaging and fair to fight against

Rein has to displace HIMSELF to go into enemy lines to get a kill. It's also way slower moving than the hook.
Hog displaces the ENEMY to bring them to ALLIED lines

Reins 1 hit kill charge is a gamble. U drop shield, rein's most essential tool, for your team defenses just for u to offence. Cos u throw yourself into the enemy. Hook brings enemy to your own team. It isolates. Like Mei's wall. But mei wall doesn't insta kill u
I think they should give deadeye a faster walk animation where he’s looking over his shoulder. Also make it so you can lock on to heads through walls with widow ult or hanzo arrow. But make the duration of the ult shorter to compensate
I'm 100% with the point that Brig wasn't the thing that started to kill Overwatch. If we're being really accurate, that would be Dive. Without Dive being as dominant as it was for as long as it was, Brigitte wouldn't have existed.
But, on the other hand, this dumbass said that Junkrat doesn't have a drawback and that Lucio is the best designed hero in the game, so it's hard to take him seriously
As someone chronically unable to play main tank, support definitely doesn't require the most game knowledge lol. Standard FPS mechanics easily carry me in DPS and Support while the kinda of positional and gamestate understanding of maintank makes my mechanics pretty useless.
I think for Cassidy a small change I’d do would be that if he sticks somebody and shoots them it will immediately detonated
This way it keeps the old “flash+headshot” that old cass had and it would prevent the enemy from getting healed if you hit the shot
That's another oneshot combo that would be incredibly difficult to counter, and the community doesn't seem to like oneshots in general.

Not bad, because it would cut down the mag bullshit by half. He throws it out at a target he can't see and it 90 degree careers around the corner, or it chases you through your swift strike or other such bullshit. I thought the nade's damage should scale down with however much it has to home, but it could be that it only blows up if it is shot within the next two seconds while attached.

Hog was not good at the end of ow1. He was only played because what was left of the playerbase either didn't care enough to actually try on real heroes or they just weren't very good.
