For my friend
I have 2.7 yr experience in critical care and 1.8 yr experience in endoscopy in the uk. Anmac code is NEC - not elsewhere classified. Got job offer from Queensland in day surgery/endoscopy department. Employer knew about the code during interview but for visa nomination they given perioperative code. As far as I know, the code given to me during anmac assessment and the code given by employer for visa nomination should be same. I don’t know if it’s only for pr visa. So should I change the code to perioperative? How can I do it?

Hello. Thank you for commenting. You can apply for ANMAC skill assessment if you are looking for PR . Please be ready with your references when you start your application. It doesn’t matter if you start your application without any preparation as well. But don’t wait too much to upload everything and apply for good standing from relevant councils once you submitted your application. It’s because there will be chance for issuing your LOD without full details. All the best.

Hi there! Thanks for watching. You can check status of your application in your login portal. assessment will complete within 2 weeks if you upload everything on time. Otherwise you need to wait longer . I suggest you to upload everything together when it’s ready as early as possible once your application is submitted. If you do so, you will get your LOD within 2 weeks

You will get a reference number once you submit your application. It’s better to mention that reference number when you request for your good standing certificate .

Do we need good standing certificate from parent registration council. ? Or from currently valid registration council?
Hai. ANMAC does skill assessment. So they need good standing certificate from councils where you have work experience. For example: if you have work experience in Ireland and you need ANMAC to assess your skill from Ireland hospital, you must apply for good standing certificate from Ireland nursing council to support your skill. What's the difference bw modified and modified plus.?
Yes you can do modified skill assessment. Modified skill assessment requires registration in either NZ or AUS.
Modified plus skill assessment:
If you hold a current letter of 'Notice of in-principle approval of registration subject to proof of identity' from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra), you qualify for a Modified PLUS skills assessment. Applicants must hold current registration as a nurse or midwife overseas to be able to apply for the Modified PLUS skills assessment. At the time of assessment you are required to hold a valid 'Notice' of in-principle letter.
Modified skill assessment:
If you are currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA/Ahpra), the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) or the Midwifery Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) you qualify for a Modified skills assessment.
Applicants must hold current registration as a nurse or midwife in Australia or New Zealand to be able to apply for the Modified skills assessment.

I am sorry I am not sure about that. ANMAC didn’t ask me to submit my payslips
How we can know the status, after how many days we can expect any progress?
You can view your application status in your online portal. Just login with your details. Usually , case assessor will be assigned after 2 weeks of application submission. If you have already uploaded everything within that time frame , you will receive your LOD within few more days.

it is clearly mentioned in ANMAC ‘s official site that they require either 1 year paid work experience in Australia or minimum 3 years international experience for modified skill assessment. If you need any other clarification on that kindly email them directly and enquire about the same. They will give reply to you for sure. Also you can take a second opinion from others as well. Not required. It’s for supporting your work experience. So , no need from Karnataka if you don’t have any work experience from there

You can either give 8 years experience with 2 different codes or 3 years experience with aged care code
