Thanks for a very thorough video.
I’m a theatrical scenic painter, and as theaters were closed until recently, our tools languished in the studio. I can’t get my Iwata rg3 to spray any liquid, including water. Air is getting through, but nothing else.
I’m so thankful to everyone who took the time to create videos about this spray gun, and am hoping I get mine working again.

Dr Budzik, you are on a different plane when it comes to scale model construction! I appreciate your videos and tips. I, like many of your viewers, bought an RG3-L which I have yet to use. This video will help with setup and use. I got back into model making after a career in the USAF and a second career as an airline pilot. I mainly assemble aircraft but I think I will try to construct a few tanks, such as the M4 Sherman and the German Tiger. I have always loved aircraft and after over 29000 hours in the air, I really miss flying. By the way, can you do a crown on number 7 next week? 😂

great advice about not disassembling the gun unnecessarily thus saving the seals from assembly disassembly wear

Thanks for the very informative video on the RG3. I'm in the market for a mini spray gun like this. Several have popped up on ebay for a fraction of the cost, but I know I'd get what I'd pay for. I may start out with one of those just to practice- I'd hate to ruin a high end piece like to RG3. Thanks again!!

Great video, Paul. I bought the RG3 on your recommendation, and this is a great quick start guide. I'll be paintin the 1:72 scale Bandai Millenium Falcon which is a beast of a kit, and calls for bigger spray. Thanks!

ive both RG3L and LPH 50, both awesome gun, interesting that LPH 50 only needs 13 psi, whereas RG recommends 36! Considering my full size gun, AX HTE2 only needs 29.

I think. I just went crazy about this spray gun. I got me RG3L and LPH50 with a 1.0 nozzle and..... a LPH50 with a 0.6 nozzle. Question. I you have both the RG3L and LPH50 with a 1.0 nozzle. Which one you will pick up first for priming a De Agostini Falcon? And why?

Can you please make a video for troubleshooting? Mine is fluttering and I replaced the fluid nozzle and I can’t figure it out.

What would be the best compressor for the RG-3. Thanks.

Which fillers do you use when using lacquer primer to get rid of reactivating the filler. Thanks in advance

I use a mixture of dental acrylic powder and Zap-A-Gap cyanoacrylate.

I already have an Iwata hp-cs with a .35mm nozzle. I want to use the RG3 for primers and clearcoats on 1/48 aircraft. Should I get the .6mm or 1.0mm nozzle? Thank you for your excellent videos.

I would suggest you go with the .6 mm nozzle. Do not buy the model with the fan cap.

I bought the .6mm. Thank you for your advice Paul.
