@A Z I was involved in a website called reggaetraders. One of the members, TheRizla, is located down in Santa Cruz, and told me the VI roots bands were the best. I attended the Raggamuffin Fest at the Bill Graham Civic, there were several bands and Midnite was one of them. i uploaded the audio of it, th-cam.com/video/ULl1gYpLjFg/w-d-xo.html . Then Midnite played the SNWMF in 2008, and i was hooked.

What is the longest midnite you have attended? I've seen comments on other videos mention that midnite has played for 4+ hours at venues 🎶 it astounds me they seem to jam for so long. As if a mixture of rehearsal and improve; as if they know what they will play but for how long they don't and just flow. How it all comea together baffles and awes me Every time. All the concerts have a distinct energy to them. Truth comes in lyrics and chants🎶
In 2011 i saw them 11 times, each show being a slightly different flavor, all enjoyable. The longest show i've heard of and have a copy of is a show from Nevada City that was darn near 4 hrs. I will check it out and maybe upload that one.

The style of the guitar playing sounds different than Abijah.
I promoted this show. This was a transition period. They had Ryan on bass. Jerry with a French accent on guitar. First run with Sly on drums this tour. Ron on keys still.
