crazy how nostalgic this anime is to me. the worldbuilding, story telling and especially its music leaves me feeling homesick always craving and wanting more out of the abyss
**Very light spoilers below, consider not reading this if youre not caught up** This anime has such a uniquely beautiful soundtrack. The first time i heard the last song play in the anime from this video, it didnt catch because i wasnt expecting it to sound the way it does. The second time it played, it almost made me emotional. So many of the songs that play in Made in Abyss are top tier if you let the show's emotions affect you while you watch. Letting yourself become completely immersed in the show makes it such a great watch. I watched it over the course of about a week and a half or maybe two weeks, and I just finished it like 3 days ago. Tonight, I started the first episode again because I'm not ready to be done with it yet. I want to see Ouzen again. I want to see the movie again. I want to see the crazy parts happen again like the part right before Nanachi is introduced. I want to feel the emotions the show puts you through, again. I went into it the first time knowing it was supposed to be a messed up anime, but I didn't expect it to make me feel so sad and happy for different moments throughout all of it. I have a personal top 10 list of anime I keep written in my phone notes, and I had to place this one in my top 4 right after finishing it. Puts it just behind FMA:B, Attack On Titan, and Re:Zero for me. Such an amazing show, and I CANT WAIT for season 3, even though it could be years.
I think I see a trend between your top 4, they all have incredible music. AOT and especially Re: Zero have tracks I listen to on a weekly basis, and Made in Abyss has newly joined their group. Kevin Penkin, Hiroyuki Sawano, and Kenichiro Suehiro are the best composers in the business in my opinion, with the way they merge their music with the story and create unforgettable scenes. Kinda went on a tangent, but moral of the story: you have a based opinion and I also was blown away by the first time Hanezeve Caradhina played. (Also just realized I didn’t talked about FMA:B at all. It’s been a couple years since I’ve watched it so I don’t really remember, but I do remember it is good.)
I wholeheartedly agree, I watch tons of anime and not a single one has come close to the immersion made in abyss gives you. About to start my 3rd watch through
actually, the author confirmed that one of the biggest influences for made in abyss, especially in the creation of the abyss itself, was the soulsborne series, which just so happens to also inspire hollow knight in a few aspects XD
@@flamingmanure oh !!! i didn't knew that !! that's beautifull. I'm not a tryharder gamer, so i never played this game, but i played hollow knight (got trapped by the cute animation style). i've finished it and i find the lore so good ! it seems that it's realy a big inspiration game.

I like how hte second, happy song is later transformed into the "nanachi in the dark" part of the soundtrack. You couldnt imagine how it turns. Its very MiA like to pull a fast one on you and suddenly you are in hell.

Todos los OST de made in abyss me hacen sentir super nostalgico, en especial el primero qué sale.
I'm very thankful for this 👍
as a gamer, made in abyss has so much a "hollow knight" vibe in it. i want to find a dangerous dark hole to explore T_T

as much as it is relaxing the music gives of an anxiety vibe absolutely amazing audio design from kevin
The song at 4:00 gives me massive spirited away vibes. (Also YES, I know this soundtrack comes from Made in abyss)
This whole anime gives me massive spirited away vibes. One of the background artists was actually a former Studio Ghibli employee too (I think).
Thank you for the time stamp
