Still my favourite song of all time. I am so grateful Stephen played it when I requested it. Miss seeing him in Halifax. When I die, I want this at my funeral. It says so much of the hunger in my life.
i asked him in Montreal but he didn’t play it💔 but i can still listen here every day ❤. i would say it’s my favourite in terms of depth and meaningful songs. 🙏🏻
Amazing. Ty. When you started to riff on "both sides now" I almost did not believe my ears. Still, I suspected something was up when I saw the open tuning at the start. I am looking forward to seeing you this weekend in Windsor.
Wait until you see him in person. I had the privilege last week, for the first time, after being responsible for at least half of the views on this video. He surpasses every single expectation in ways which are not possible. This man is a musical genius nothing less.
I met Stephen years ago, in the guitar shop where I worked. I had a chance to see his setup, with two separate outputs he blended together with a mixer outside the guitar. He's spent a lot of time getting that sound just right.
Beautiful guitar playing and style. At times reminds me of some of early Joni Mitchell. Oh my, I wrote that before I got to the end - and he went into Both Sides Now! xxxx
Finally, no one else has commented yet on the fact that in the last half he slides into an instrumental version of Janice Ian's "both sides now", Then smoothly transitions back into his own song at the end.
Ronda Lauer I imagine there are many pretty towns in Canada that would love to host a Stephen Fearing concert! A lovely thought to hear him play in person...
I never tire of this song and listen to it often. So beautiful….a Nelsonite
I have listened to this performance for many years, and I never tire of listening to it. Damn fine.
still listening 2024

So many years later, and it’s still a beautiful song, performed brilliantly! ❤️

Just in case I haven't said it enough, I love your music.
Impressed beyond words.....and that guitar is equally impressive.
This is rather fabulous in every way . I´ve never heard of this gentleman before . Thanks for this new discovery . I´m in !

this song lifts me up soaring ... then sets me down on firm ground again.
Beautiful masterpiece...
Just incredbly emotional!
Love the 'Both Sides Now' medley in this.
Always feel better listening to this
Always such a beautiful time, listening to your masterpieces!! Thank you Stephen...just beautiful♡
Je pourrais l'écouter mille fois, jamais je ne me lasserais.
What a player. Also, this is the best sound I've heard from an electric acoustic, ever - the bass frequencies are so clear and deep.

And he plays a most phenomenal Manzer quitar. They are incredible ...
Fabulous song and a great singer

Joni Mitchell's Both Sides Now.
Don't scare me like that... Janice Ian?
Every Canadian knows what happened there. Joni's "both sides now".
I love this.
