Great meeting you also. Hope you enjoyed the video. Someone commented a question about your plane. If you have a moment, could you reply to him. I actually don't use either one of the connectors in question. I am looking at getting some of those SMC No spark ones someday.
Interesting comment on the QS8 plugs. I see you have CC Polarized plugs in there too. Those have been my only plug for everything 6-12S for at least 10 years I think, but I kind of hate them because they are so stiff to disconnect without adjusting the bullet tension. Which reduces the current rating. Would you recommend the QS8 over CC?
I like the qs8 over the castle and personally getting ready to switch to the Supra s7 solderless connectors. 320 max amps no solder and easy to snap together and break apart.
@@skakamj0lkHonestly they are not much more expensive. I’m only using them on the big batteries. I will say though once you use them you won’t go back!
@@waymaker_rc_club You are correct in that they are comparatively priced to the CC but as of now I have 12 12S stick packs with 2 pairs on each (6S+6S) sitting on the workbench, then it's the ESC side for each model and finally the charging cable sets for parallell charging and separate discharging cables for the discharging station. I'm going to need at least 500 dollars worth of connectors to make the switch with my current hangar.
It was great meeting you Lou. Sorry for the high up flying still trying to get comfortable with this plane.

Why put electric in a giant scale plane only to fly a few minutes?
8min with that much power is plenty. Quality over quantity. Thank you for the question. 🙏
After 5-6min of flying anything other circles I’m ready to come down and reset.
@redfish172 When your flying hard, 5 min is perfect time to come down and reset. Just my opinion.

@@waymaker_rc_club Have been looking at the S7's myself but the price of all those connectors I am going to need makes me hesitant...

I'm so happy you got your question answered. This is one of the things that make this hobby great. Comunity.
