I have a Boss power hammer and it works great. It is currently torn down because I have moved, but I hope to assemble it soon and work with it. I will try to post a video about it in the future.
Thanks for making the video. I live just outside of Dubuque Iowa and have been aware they at one time made power hammers there. yours is the first I've actually seen in running condition. I am a new subscriber please keep the videos coming.
Thank you soo much, i have very little info on these guys, when I research American made power hammers all I really got was little giants, any info is better than none thanks again
I have a very similar hammer myself that I'm in the process of restoring so that I can use it. it is in fact a Swedish made copy of this particular one, these were produced by at least one company for a number of years (I'm still trying to figure out exactly which one and when). Mine is a bit more light in construction, the ram weighs around 20-25 kg and the whole machine should weigh around 500 kg. Anyways, thanks for uploading this video, it was nice to see what the original hammer looks like! I might upload a video of mine later on when it's up and running.
@@StackhouseKnives Hello again, just wanted to let you know that I´ve managed to get mine running now, and that I´ve added two short videos of it on my channel!
Sir i am also planning to build power hammer. So if you finish your work on it couldn't you please share it's details. Email me : karthikjayan85@gmail.com
I have one just like this, looks identical, but different colour.. It needs some work before i can use it but nothing is stuck or cracked.. here in Norway they were made (or imported ) by V. Löwer's maskinforretning ( maskinforretning= machineshop)
@@StackhouseKnives will make a video of it when i get it running, hopeully this spring/summer.. i have also found one working and running just over the border in Sweden, in use by axe maker Nils Ögren - he is making videos with it already..
I've a load of machine tools in storage... They would've all run via flat belts & lineshafts originally... I've 36 machines... Have a look at my channel if you like...
