What a master guitarist. He could really make his instrument sing & wail. Love it. Also he had a great voice. Another one gone too soon but at least he left us a great legacy of music.
Gary was in his first band with my brother aged 14 called themselves the Beat Boys .. Lived round corner from us in Belfast with his Aunt. Lived in his bedroom playing guitar... their fledgling band practice at ours 🤗. . Was in Thin Lizzy for a time. Check out Gary Moore & friends the boys are back in town (one night in Dublin)
🤔…..👏….. great reaction video! I couldn’t help but crack up when you stopped it at 4:53 reacting to that first brief guitar solo….. I knew you were just going to be totally blown away by the second absolutely astonishing solo!
Nice to see you checking out so many of the "oldies". It's fun for me to watch younger people, who may not have had much exposure to the previous generation's music, really getting into it and appreciating it. Great reaction! And you are such a cutie pie! Blues guitarists are my favorite: SRV, Gary Moore, Jeff Healey & Joe Bonamassa. You can't go wrong with any of them, but to truly appreciate what they DO, you need to watch videos of them performing LIVE. Ain't nothin, better!
Absolute great song with the guitar as a powerful instrument communicating and get in someones soul and bones. This composition is from I guess 1986 or 1989. Heard it on the radio and neighbours blasting this incredible piece. Since the 50's so much amazing music came out. Rich because of all these talented masters.
Gary Moore....The Messiah Will Come Again live at Montreux Grand Funk Railroad.... Inside Looking Out live 1969 Edgar Winter Group.... Frankenstein live Edgar and Johnny Winter.... Tobacco Road live
On balance,a good, enthusiastic reaction though I was, initially, getting irritated when you were cackling over the sound of his beautiful work but then you calmed down and listened so we could all enjoy it, without a pause. Thanks for that, my friend...
Well said, i love Gary Moore!! You should listen his cover of Red House live too, he was in many situation a superb interpreter, as singer and guitarist! Rip Gary ❤
Check the messiah will come again live at montreaux or the loner live from sweden.. he was among the best, he had a tone and feeling like no one else could.. he could play anything and had a voice to match..
Great reaction. Please react to Gary Moore live, The Messiah Will Come Again: th-cam.com/video/7k07j7LcLqw/w-d-xo.html Also, Gary doing live, Parsienne Walkways: th-cam.com/video/FiuQ1EbrT94/w-d-xo.html You will love it. Thanks and take care.
For some more rockin' blues and the voice that inspired Robert Plant and many other blue-eyed soul singers, check out Steve Marriott - Five long years. He was first in the band The Small Faces in the 1960s then formed Humble Pie in 1969 with Peter Frampton, 17 yr old drummer Jerry Shirley and phenomenal bassist Greg Ridley. They opened for Grand Funk in 1971 and sold out Shea Stadium in 72 hours (faster than the Beetles). Both bands rocked the crowd so hard that the engineers feared collapse. 30 Days in the Hole, I Wonder and Road Runner are some great tunes from their album Smokin'.
Congratulations my friend, you have discovered the greatest guitarist that ever walked on this earth. And he could sing as well. 😊 I would love to see your reaction to Gary Moore The Messiah Will Come Again Live. Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/7k07j7LcLqw/w-d-xo.html Here you will see an absolute master class in guitar playing. Gary does not sing in this one, but believe me, the guitar does the singing for him. I promise that you will not be disappointed! After this I will send you the link to Empty Rooms Live in Stockholm. Another absolute master piece! I really hope that you will react to this (The Messiah Will Come Again Live), and I look forward to seeing what you think. Cheers and regards from England. 😊😎🎸🇬🇧🇺🇦
Tornado of Souls - Megadeth has a pretty amazing solo, a lot of people consider it the best solo in metal. Worth a try. Should check out the studio version though
Nice! Now you need to take a listen to another master guitarist from Ireland, the legendary Rory Gallagher. Try checking out "I Wonder Who" live in Belfast 1984 for amazing blues. For something more rock, try "Shinkicker" from 1979 Montreux. You won't be disappointed!
You really need to react to "seperate ways"live by Gary Moore on blues alive video with solo introduction. If you thought this is fire seperate ways is lava.
John Burnham? Really? You are comparing the incomparable Gary Moore to some guy named John Burnham? I googled John Burnham and have absolutely NO CLUE why you would compare him to Gary. IMHO, the four greatest guitarist in blues and rock are Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore and Eddie Van Halen. Mark knopfler as an honorable mention. Thank you so much for honoring Gary. Maybe he RIP.
the song you find familiar, is Lionel Ritchies, hello,I'm amazed, but Gary Moore us still the best guitarist the f..king world, rest in eternal peace my friend,

I love watching young people react to the Beethoven"s of the 21st century. Enjoy my friend, you will never see this talent again.

Northern Ireland might not think so, but I think Gary is the greatest gift that they ever gave to the world. RIP Mr. Moore.

Gary's guitar never wept gently, it wept Loud and Proud! He also filled in as guitarist for Thin Lizzy on some of their shows.
He did. He was also a member of Thin Lizzy and played on the entire Black Rose album (1979).
God bless you my friend, that song rocks!
Check the messiah will come again live at montreaux or the loner live from sweden.. he was among the best, he had a tone and feeling like no one else could.. he could play anything and had a voice to match..
Gary's from the UK - Northern Ireland. For a lot of people he's the greatest guitarist. The singing's a bonus.
Jazz Festival 1990 in Montreux-Switzerland
Soooo Gooood!
Apart from Dave gilmour I've never come across a guitarist that makes me happy about a sad song

Gary Moore made his guitar cry.
If that wasn’t enough for you... chase his live cover of ‘Parisienne Walkways’. (Phil Lynott on vocals... call that a bonus.)
U can feel his pain in d solos
