@@tumsYT how so? mudrock does outshine her in higher end content but she still did well here. she doesnt provide much outside of just her tanking n single target dmg so idk how she could be so much better
Penance can probably solo this one at low risk with the support risk since then the lane becomes the perfect mix of weak and decently strong enemies but I thought that was kinda boring Sad I never got to ever do any catch and release Golem #2 strats on the actual lead seal
I think we saw pretty well how Mudrock and Penance differ. Both took solid hits from the golems, but Mudrock recovered while Penance clung to her S3. Especially without a steady stream of enemies to maintain uptime. Mudrock's S3 certainly bought some time for that recovery, but she's a lot more self-sufficient to begin with. The clearest demonstration of that was the end. All Penance could do was take it and hit the floor. Maybe S2 would have been better in that situation, but this would have barred her from holding the lane with S3 earlier. Which isn't to say that Mudrock wouldn't have died in the next hit or two. But S3 was the main star for her the whole map and it is what enabled her to end it. In short: Both units fulfil different roles and can definitely coexist in the same squad. I'd even say that Mudrock S2 still has a worthy place. It's all about what enemies come where.
Mudrock S2 is much more reliable than penance for high pressure lanes, since it does AOE damage to all enemies frequently instead of having to rely on the S3 to take out the heavier enemies one by one or S2's comparatively lower (albeit cumulatively higher) damage over time. Penance on paper does seem like she'd replace mudrock, but honestly her design is very balanced against mudrock. Very similar roles, but both excell in quite different ways.
@@torinriley7569 Completely agree. Mudrock deals well with high pressure and heavies while Penance works best with steady streams. That might make Penance "better" in more situations (saw one comment claiming that she is used in 50% of high CC comps since her release while Mudrock was in 30%), but the old friend of fertile soil and stone is far from replaced. Very happy to have both and they will both be in my general squad.
Finally, Mudrock and the Collossus are playable together. But why is the Collossus a lawyer now. The other is a tribal snake!?.. these skins have very creative designs.
One thing that i noticed is that all of our juggernaut use bonking as their attack. this got me thinking... if they one day decided to create a juggernaut alter, i wonder if the op will also bonk to attack 🤔
I see now So mudrock can tank the moment she's deployed while penance need to tank 20 hits or something first before she can tank heavy boss hits Ty for the showcase dude
They exist in the same class, so comparisons are natural, and in some ways it's only through intelligent comparisons that you figure out which niches are better for which character, or if there's just power creep. In this case, while there is overlap, they cover enough different territory to say that they have separate uses.
@@Leichuanttv well you are absolutely right penance good against enemy that didn’t deal too much damage and some boss while mudrock can stall slow hard hitting enemy almost forever
The Battle of the Bonks.
Ngl. This is probably one of the best runs that showcase how Mudrock and Penance have very different uses in a run.
Personally feel like I wasn't able to use Penance that well here
Her performance can normally be much better

Use Penance on drone stage in IS2

I hope penance can solo this after module

That last bonk that took all the shield and almost killed her was scary bruh...
Euenctes the sharp bonk
Mudrock the classic bonk
Penance the lawful bonk

I really like MudMud's S3 and it's sound.
penance: is my show case
mudrock: hammer time
The proof that mudrock is still meta
that was awesome. Was on the edge of my seat the entire time
3 Defenders, all of them are having 4k+ HP, and all of them have 30+ DP
-Don't tell me that's a coincidence (it's a bad joke wasn't it)-
Was funny to me too, taking 3 literal solo tanks
Rumble in The Bonks.
MUDROCK still best for me. Btw i have both but i like Sound of Bonk Mudmud
The best battle of Bonks

Juggernaut vs Juggernaut
Defender really make of defender ~
People die if they being bonk~
Lead seal is broken on 3 different types of bonking technique
Reminds me of 2 dudes pounding mochi.
"Why choose whe you can use both?"
Both
Obviously both
in simple term
i don't know how to use penance
but raising her to e2 is not as bad as me raising kirara to e2
Showdown
Kind of surprised that there isn’t a defender that can tank Mudrock the boss’s special attack
This Mudrock has +60% atk, and if there is one exist and it also has extreme offensive ability like these 3 then HG balancing is sh*t
@@ilvy3296 forgot about cc tags
@@adamvegas5951 normal mudrock from TW can still bonk for 4.6k at max stacks tho... so even a well built defender will still feel it
Dam. Wrong title it's Penance eunectus and Mudrock vs mudrock.
And even the video isn't what the title stands
