Being currently midway through Off The Record on a replay after many years away, Chuck really wasn't that hard overall. Sure I died a a few times, but if you stay right where the battle starts it's not too tricky to accomplish with just a couple of spiked bats (or other general melee weapons) and some healing items, and Chuck even drops whiskey.
I liked chuck, I liked the story, I liked the tension of 3 days of needing to figure out who the criminal mastermind is. Then with needing to find zombrex to make sure his daughter survives.

I was a part of that TIR Enjoyers group that helped you with the PvP trophies. I was put off of DR2 years ago due to the inactive servers, so returning to this game being able to bump off those 3 trophies with that group was a long time coming for me. Now I'm working on Off The Record. Just need to Gold Medal the Co-op and squish 100k zeds under the wheels of the SUV and the Slicecycle to get it done.
If you wanna save yourself some trouble, you could use that glitch with bees at the Atlantica Casino in Sandbox mode to get those 100k kills in about an hour, especially since the game crashes so much.
14:50 quite amazing on how they referenced Frank West's dialogue to Jessie in the first Dead Rising to give him the gun as he said "i've covered wars you know?"
I preffer DR2 over DR1, even when you don't play co-op the game is amazing! When they announced DRDR I got back to these games and tried to play DR1 but deep down I knew I wanted to play DR2. I hope our time comes for the people who preffer Chuck over Frank

Dead Rising 2 always has a special place in my heart as it being the first game I ever got when I got my first ever modern console, the ps4 at the time
Its funny to think how even before I played any of these games, and just how I was too young to enjoy them when they did come out, Dead Rising as a whole had been a part of my childhood. All it took was one video showing me all the bosses of DR2, and I was hooked. I took the time this year to finally give them a try, and I can say that DR2 IMO was pure perfection. Everything about it was perfect, from the music, characters, atmosphere, and overall presentation itself. This game was an experience I could never forget. And its funny too how it literally influenced my love for Celldweller as well as soon as I heard the soundtrack all the way back then in one of the boss videos I mentioned. Hope that with the remake of DR1, it can at least be successful enough to give us a remake of DR2

I just got done beating the game myself and there is two things I wish. 1. I wish there was an alternate ending if you rescued everyone. Instead of it being a marker for getting to the finale of the game. Where the people you saved help you at towards the end. 2. that there would be another dlc that had frank and chuck working together for the main story. Chuck wanting to clear his name and save his daughter. With Frank wanting to find out the truth. With this being a harder mode having two psycho boss fights. With an ending where Frank and Chuck figure out how everything went down. With Stacy being the one that set the bomb that released the zombies while Sullivan broke into the security office to hand the tape over to twins to give to Rebecca. So chuck would get framed for the murder and once the military operation failed and all the survivors were killed off. They would've left the city while the government prepared to bomb the town. Leaving no trace of what happened.

So i love the original dead rising, and dead rising 3 (yes i think its a good game) But dead rising 2 would be my favorite for one thing especially, I grew up 17 years in vegas, and went down to gamble a few times. So the casino layout, reminds me of home. For those who arent familiar with vegas, the way the casinos look in the game, plus the areas that looks like malls, also the stadium. Thats pretty spot on when it comes to detail. Its not just exaggerated for the vibe, it felt like i was actually in a vegas casino

Anyone noticed that in Dead Rising 1 to 3. Frank, a photographer, can't make combo weapons. But Chuck can because he has some mechanical training for his bike. Then Nick, with better expertise, can make combo weapons on the spot without the need of a station.
i like Dead Rising 2 but the combo weapons were a bit to much one of the best parts of Dead Rising 1 is having to use what ever trash you find to hold the zombies back
DR2 was the absolute best. I didn't like the first one and only through the constant pestering by my friend did I ever end up playing DR2. I bought it didn't really like it at first and then 8 months later I picked it back up and didn't put it down. The biggest tragedy of this game was it's incredibly fun multiplayer from the co-op to the criminally under appreciated Terror is Reality.
The 2 Co-op trophies are pretty easy as long as you can find someone to play the whole game with. Definitely have both players save often to avoid losing progress to crashes. For the multiplayer, I recommend finding a group boosting session on the PlayStation profiles website. If you can't do that, try to go for the MP trophies on the weekend. Message your recent players and see if they will let you win the events you need.
"The dead rising they should have remastered" Yes! I totally agree. DR2 gets undue amounts of scorn, but it is my favorite game in the series. The only problem with the game is that it doesn't have any way to save Rebecca from being murdered. The golden ending could've at least added something.
when this game first came out, i was the KING of Multiplayer. no seriously, my OG PSN Account on the PS3 had the HIGHEST scores for 8 years! i also maxed out a savefile's maximum amount of possible cash as well lol. i bet i played at least 5 thousand hours total in DR2 Multiplayer alone lol.

I feel as though they should give this franchise the RE Remake treatment (even if that’s in the form of more “deluxe remasters”) and do 2 then with 3 they should do the same but just integrate more features that were wanted when 3 originally came out and then make a new game to follow the remasters of 1,2 and 3. Dead Rising 2 grew on me, specially after Case Weat released. Watching Chuck and Frank being an investigator duo was awesome.

I remember being super excited seeing the series was coming to PlayStation back in the day (before I owned an XBOX)
Anyone noticed that in Dead Rising 1 to 3.
Frank, a photographer, can't make combo weapons.
But Chuck can because he has some mechanical training for his bike.
Then Nick, with better expertise, can make combo weapons on the spot without the need of a station.
Pretty cool how they did that for it to make sense with the lore.

We did crash a good amount, but for the sake of the video's flow I kept it out. We saved a lot so it wasn't too bad.
i like Dead Rising 2 but the combo weapons were a bit to much one of the best parts of Dead Rising 1 is having to use what ever trash you find to hold the zombies back
See I spam Adam's chainsaws when I play DR1, so I actually like the combo weapons in DR2 😂
DR2 was the absolute best. I didn't like the first one and only through the constant pestering by my friend did I ever end up playing DR2. I bought it didn't really like it at first and then 8 months later I picked it back up and didn't put it down. The biggest tragedy of this game was it's incredibly fun multiplayer from the co-op to the criminally under appreciated Terror is Reality.

Do you have any tips for the online/co-op trophies?
The 2 Co-op trophies are pretty easy as long as you can find someone to play the whole game with. Definitely have both players save often to avoid losing progress to crashes. For the multiplayer, I recommend finding a group boosting session on the PlayStation profiles website. If you can't do that, try to go for the MP trophies on the weekend. Message your recent players and see if they will let you win the events you need.

Yes! I totally agree. DR2 gets undue amounts of scorn, but it is my favorite game in the series. The only problem with the game is that it doesn't have any way to save Rebecca from being murdered. The golden ending could've at least added something.

when this game first came out, i was the KING of Multiplayer. no seriously, my OG PSN Account on the PS3 had the HIGHEST scores for 8 years!
i also maxed out a savefile's maximum amount of possible cash as well lol. i bet i played at least 5 thousand hours total in DR2 Multiplayer alone lol.

This is also my fav dead rising game, sadly i couldn't beat it cuz i was so little that time and i couldn't understand English, i literally just follow the arrow on top lol and explore around the map but i really enjoyed and love the game.

I feel as though they should give this franchise the RE Remake treatment (even if that’s in the form of more “deluxe remasters”) and do 2 then with 3 they should do the same but just integrate more features that were wanted when 3 originally came out and then make a new game to follow the remasters of 1,2 and 3. I think we can all agree DR4 can be skipped/scrapped lol
