YES! Trick R Treat was and still is my favorite Halloween movie ever, ever more so then The Nightmare Before Christmas and Friday the 13th, didn't have a clue a second one was announced and now Krampus is also from the same director?! The Hype is real!
+Rock Bottom The movie has some scary moments and some truly scary ideas in it but it most reminds me of the fun horror movies of the 80s with likable characters, some gruesome imagery and a sense of humor tying it all together. Highly recommended!

I remember when Trick r Treat was first shown in select theaters and I couldny watch it. Then I was searching everywhere for years for a DVD or BluRay and couldnt find it. Going into Blockbuster, yes Blockbuster, asking where the hell is it. FINALLY I found a copy online and watched the shit out of it.
Trick 'r Treat is my go to Halloween movie watch it every year looking forward to the sequel. Hopefully Krampus is a good Christmas film I'll wanna watch every year as well.
I loved the first Trick R Treat Film that I am dying to have a Second Horror Movie of it. And maybe someday get a Crossover Horror Movie of Halloween and Trick R Treat with there killers Michael Myers and Sam I think they well look good together in a Horror Crossover Movie.
I can actually understand why he wanted to do Krampus first instead of going straight to Trick r Treat 2. It's also good to branch out and do other things as well, not just be a one-trick pony. You definitely don't wanna be that in entertainment- especially with making movies. Don't get me wrong I love Trick r Treat way more than Krampus and I'm excited for TrT 2, but the director played it really smart.

While I'm excited for the sequel, I think this guy should direct the FNAF movie. While Gil Kenan is taking the right direction so far, this guy would be the perfect director. Like I said in the comment section of Krampus Director On Making Whatever It Was, this guy should do it.

In the sequel you could set it up as a Halloween Party gone bad for adults. Sam visits and gets no candy......then pretty much gets snubbed off the property by bullies trick r treating. The Bullies steal Sam's candy....Of course by now Sam is pissed off and summons up some Halloween terror to attack the haunted House and Halloween guest. Demons....zombies....witches.....and always have to have a werewolf. These monsters crash the party ......Sam is the Spirit of Halloween. Just thought....:)
They want be a werewolf he said they will be new monsters but everyone done knows Sam is probably the only monster from trick r treat that's in the sequel the director said that in a interview
Trick 'r Treat is one of those unique horror films. Not only is it actual horror but there's actual well-crafted story to it.

It is indeed worth watching, although not the scariest film, it's still an excellent film, and even became a tradition of mine to watch on Halloween.
