Petri Lindroos has done 5 albums and over a dozen sessions at Astia-studio with platinum-selling producer/engineer Anssi Kippo.
To celebrate 30 years of Astia-studio you are welcome to join a trip down memory lane with Ensiferum and x-Norther guitarist/vocalist Petri Lindroos as he shares memories from both the studio sessions and live shows with Anssi Kippo.
Learn interesting details about the making of Ensiferum albums One Man Army and Two Paths, Norther albums Mirror of Madness and Death Unlimited, along with how Alexi Laiho and Children of Bodom have affected Petri's musical journey. Today Petri is sharing the stage also with Janne Wirman, the keyboard-virtuoso from Children of Bodom by joining the Warmen band as the guitar playing lead vocalist.
Anssi Kippo has worked with Petri Lindroos at Astia-studio from 2002 to 2017 and mixed FOH sound on Norther live shows from early 2000's until Petri's departure in 2009 including 2006 mini tour in Japan and Taiwan along with numerous shows and tours in Finland and all over Europe.

Awesome video, this series is the best! Had the opportunity to see Petri with Ensiferum in the end of last year and it was amazing. Hoping Warmen come here one day to experience "Norther Of Bodom" live (Petri, if you see this please come to Portugal!!!).
My favorite Norther album is definitely the debut. And I've been looking for that Mirror of Madness longsleeve for quite a while, will look nice next to the Death Unlimited one. One question: Do you know if there were any Dreams of Endless War shirts made at the time? Thanks for making these videos again!⭐\m/

I remember at the studio afterparty after Kride was arrested, we called the police saying ”you shouldn’t hold him, don’t you know he’s a f’n rock star” but the police just laughed 😃

Norther oli kyl livenä tosiaan älyttömän kova. Pari kertaa ehdin nähdä, ja eka oli Nosturissa 2003, kun jätkät lämmitteli Dimmu Borgiria ja Hypocrisyä. Aivan timanginen keikka, joka loppui Final Countdown coveriin 😂
Niinpä. Ja keikoilla tapahtui välillä mitä käsittämättömämpiä asioita, kuten yht'äkkiä saattoi Batman tulla lavalle ja joskus hän saattoi siellä ollessaan pilkkoa soittopelin moottorisahalla. 😅
