But the fact that you didn't even TRY to reconcile with the fact that these two white actors used blackface to play this character, "I know some black actors who hated him, some who were inspired by him..." it requires far more care and investigation than that lone statement. I saw a black actor play Julius Caesar. He didn’t do it in whiteface. He was pretty bad however.
