Thank you for the pattern I was so excited about finding this because I have been using othesr but all turn out too big.. Because I crochet very loose I had to do the bottom part with a smaller hook but it turned out wonderfully.. thanks again.
I absolutely love this. Im going to make one to go with the cardigan on your channel that you made with the pound of love in creamsicle for myself except mine is a different color. Im also going to make some for Christmas gifts!
Love this beret profile. The top part is nicely done. Thanks Lenysea. Eventually Fall will come here in Albuquerque. It’s still in the 90’s. Love it, but it’s time to change seasons😂😂. I’ve got a neck warmer just needed a hat and your video is on time👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽
Hi, any way of making the brim smaller without adding sooo many decrease rows? I’ve already made the top of the beret smaller... any smaller and it wouldn’t look nice.
Hi Elena, did I hear you say inches? Lol! In other videos you use centimeters because you "don't get that thing", as you say in one of them. I think it's cute. Anyway , great tutorial ; I will be trying this one out. Rosie
My husband's from Spain, we've been together 11 years and he's lived here in the US almost 6 but he'll never learn inches, he says it makes no sense 😂🤣 now I can convert to kilos, centimeters, Celcious, etc. in my head
I had to rewatch the stitches right after making the magic circle like 2-3 times so I could see the two DC together. You can also slow the speed of the video. You eventually catch on.
I'm an advanced crocheter, and this pattern is very beginner friendly ... but I had to breake my work 4 times cuz I kept getting lost and had to reply MANY times... I advise you go a bit slower both speaking and working for the camera. Other than that, it is a good tutorial 👍🏽

Hello from Utah I love this tutorial and have made 2 since then. I did my 2nd one with cotton yarn and it’s gorgeous. Thanks for sharing
I’m so glad you did this tutorial! I have been wanting to make this kind of hat for a long time.

Hi a big thank you from India 😊!!I made my first ever crocheted beret following your tutorial!!
I absolutely love this. Im going to make one to go with the cardigan on your channel that you made with the pound of love in creamsicle for myself except mine is a different color. Im also going to make some for Christmas gifts!
I made your beret. I had to decrease 7 rows. Love it. I think I need more lol
I did the same, came out perfectly

Thank you!!! This is beautiful!! 💕😘🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
So easy to follow I went ahead and bought the pattern thanks and the pattern is just as easy too❤👌
So cute! I love these! Thank you for sharing this! 💖
Hi there! Can you please tell what is the circumference of the flat round before starting decreasing? Thank you
Looks like Red Riding Hoods hat from once upon a time
Love this beret. 🥰
I love ❤️ this!!!
Great pattern. Would this work in a chunky or super chunky yarn?
My daughter for sure! Yay😀
16:08 that red beret looks beautiful too do you have a video or it is the same style?
Hi, any way of making the brim smaller without adding sooo many decrease rows? I’ve already made the top of the beret smaller... any smaller and it wouldn’t look nice.
Yes!!! I need this, I’ll make one. 🥰
This is the second beret I’ve tried and they come out to big!
Evelyn Beltran Make the diameter smaller
Lenysea thank you!

Rosie
R. Lara I’ve given up! 😂 Now I try to use both. I still design in metric system, but since I live in the US, gotta show it in inches as well!

What is the length of your beret from the start to the 10th round?
Is there a pattern available for purchase please
Sharon Wellman Will share a link as soon as I finish writing it out 👍🏻
@@Lenysea thank you please let me know
Just posted it: www.etsy.com/listing/736918991/crochet-beret-hat?ref=shop_home_active_1
I was confused on 1st row. The 2 double crochets together. Are you doing 2 actual double crochets or are you joining them together?
Is there a written pattern?

I liked it although you went too fast so could you please make another one but go slower
You can pause the video
You can slow the speed of the video too.
Nice
Lovely beret. Black isn’t a good colour choice for tutorials. Very hard on the eyes.
Even making the diameter 2 rounds smaller it still came out way too big.
Then subtract a few more rounds until it looks and fits your liking... It’s not quantum physics. Pretty easy to figure that out 🤷🏻♀️🙂
Confusing instructions. You go too fast with stitches after magic circle. 😩
I had to rewatch the stitches right after making the magic circle like 2-3 times so I could see the two DC together. You can also slow the speed of the video. You eventually catch on.
Yes,it's a bit fast.

Other than that, it is a good tutorial 👍🏽
In the right bottom corner of the screen there is 'Settings' button. You can choose to change the 'Playback Speed' to fit your needs/skill level
👌
@@Lenysea right, I keep forgetting them new settings on TH-cam 😂😂 but once again, great pattern 👍🏽
