- We were working in the shelter, it was raining. The dogs in the shelter were barking very loudly, so I went to check out the front to see what was going on. Then I heard helpless meowing in the grass next to our shelter.

It's amazing the other two survived the night. They are were barely 3 weeks old. Maybe something happened to the mother, because she nursed them for sure.

I can't imagine the mental state of the person who left them on that grass. I am sad for their mom cat who lost her kittens. The ones who do this must understand that, you are not only putting the life of kitten in danger and trauma. But also putting the life of mom cat into trauma. But thanks for helping them out and without that help, they wouldn't have survived the situation. I hope Ivy, Willow, Onyx and their mom cat stays safe and I truly hope these adorable lil ones gets loving homes. 🙏👍🏻

I dunno. Judging by the area where the guy found the first kitten, I think the Mom was feral. The rain must've scared the other kittens off into separate areas of the grass.
For all we know, the Mom Cat could've either be hit by a car or attacked by an animal, or maybe picked up by someone else.
It's fake , he puts himself the kitten there.
it doesn't grow in grass like mushrooms -_-
I dont know about that cuz the mom could just go search for food, and kabam- no more kittens
