I´m with you dude, this is the most boring map I have ever played, I can´t do it... it´s kinda like they just gave up and decided to give everyone wallhacks as they can´t defeat the cheaters as well
Going to be fun to play zero build in the chapter 2 map as it had a lot of small landmarks. There was just more small areas of cover unlike the modern map. There were locations like the fishing pond above holly hedges, the campfire and logs under sweaty sands, the other fishing pond above retail row, the whole power line zip line, the fishing rod truck below the farm and above the center.
I remember when I played fortnite for the first time where I played my first game and my brother and I figured out how to connect 2 separate controllers to the same character and we ended up winning it. Can't wait to feel the nostalgia in 2 weeks. :)

I always give chapter 2 season 1 a pass with the lack of updates. The reason is due to the simple fact of swimming being new and all. Imagine how many issues that caused. Then add that with the ai henchmen being added. Those had to casual so much issues in development as it was the first time the team ever dealt with stuff like that. Then also the newer engine and graphics as the team was used to the old STW engine and all. Which I remind you took years to make so the dev team was used to the old tool way more. Also less weapon models to pull from and steal if any at all.

Oh and I can’t forget to mention the fact that every weapon has bullet drop, so it’s impossible to even hit people when they use any mobility to run away.
I’ll always love Chapter 2, I also started playing during that chapter and I gotta say ever since it ended, it just hasn’t been the same.. it will always be my number 1.. but now that it’s returning, I’m really excited to finally get to relive my favorite moments 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Chapter 2 was the peak for Fortnite. The game was more fun back then and it shouldn't have been. We had no sprint, no slide and no mantling. No driveable cars. They can make it better but they can't make it fun. We had choppers, boats and sharks. I hope though that the OG version doesn't have marvel in it because that was when Fortnite started to go downhill in my opinion. Just look at reload. It's just more satisfying to play than what chapter 5 and what chapter 4 and 3 were. The Chapter 2 map just flowed. I hope they bring back the parasite alien head things too but they probably won't work now we have sprinting same as the chilli peppers were once the only way to sprint.

I didn’t play ch. 3 and I came back for ch. 4 and it was such a good map w good seasons and then fort OG came back and that was fun but then ch. 5 came and first season was not bad but after that it just sucked and I haven’t played in months but I will come back for OGS2

We might be going back to Chapter 3 for a bit as well, as the entire Chapter 3 Season 4 Map got added to the files. Most likely we will start with 1 week of Chapter 3 Season 4 where we defeat the Herald, then the island flips to Chapter 2 for the last 3 weeks of November. One week per season, going in order: Chapter 3 Season 4, Chapter 2 Season 1, Season 2, then ending on Season 3.

@@BenMarro very true, while that is when I started to play I still think chapter 4 is a better all-round chapter, but chapter 3 had its moments. It had my favorite and probably the most unique poi ever, Reality Falls, and chapter 3 season 4 was my favorite season having a very good meta and a lot of natural movement, paired with the hunter bold action becoming the best sniper as it is the only sniper that can 1 shot without the glare (its true, its the only one without sniper glare)

Now remember, all of these mechanics are REGULARLY USED in modern Fortnite I just think its not gonna feel all that special without doing the later seasons Its kinda sad honestly
