  • 1. What is smartphone use doing to our brains?
    • Having the world’s information at our finger tips is making our brains lazy.
    • Researchers at the University of Waterloo found that people who use their phones to find information tend to react from a gut instinct rather than analyze facts and data
    • This research provides support for an association between heavy smartphone use and lowered intelligence
    • Whether smartphones actually decrease intelligence is still an open question that requires future research
    • But researchers believe that when we turn to our phones for problem solving instead of using our brains, we're speeding up the process of deterioration on our minds that comes with aging.
    2. How do we know if we have a lazy brain from using our smartphones?
    • Easy knowledge is provided by smartphones, and could be dangerous because it makes us lazy thinkers, Being this type of thinker, we have a difficult time analyzing complex problems
    • You may be relying too much on your smartphone if you are uncomfortable sitting in silence, using your imagination, letting your mind wander.
    • You look up information, but don’t stop to think about it. You are already on to the next app on your smartphone.

People are still in the delusion phase of cell phones, they live their lives vicariously through their phones. One day they will look back with a great sense of regret, all those wasted hours with nothing to show for it. All those wasted hours, wasted friendships, wasted opportunites, wasted life that you can't get back, wasted meaningful interactions with others. By the time they wake up to this fact they will be lonely and no longer know how to interact with others. ... We are already seeing this. This doesn't bode well for the human species.

Of the 20% picking up phones during intimacy, my hunch is women are mostly culprits. Doc incorrectly insinuates otherwise.

Using an Iphone during sex.. It's no wonder
MEN ARE GOING THEIR OWN WAY . .
    I would not put up with that for a second . . . .
If I'm giving her 100% I expect at least 95% from her
or it just ain't worth the sweat all that work would
    create . . . . . . .
