If it’s in a pallet then not only will the hunter have to spend ~2 seconds to break the pallet (3 if it’s a slpw box), but they’ll have to spend an extra 2-3 seconds breaking the box. That gives FD 6 or more seconds yo transition away, and it takes 12-18 seconds for thr hunter to even catch up. That means each box buys the survivors over 20 seconds of extra decoding time if you break the box pre-chair.
