This is absolutely monstrous honestly. I did nearly 3 hours on spa today and my best was a 18.2 (7.20s). Trying to take 3 seconds off that seems almost impossible but will get there.......maybe. just wish this was a macca so I could make comparisons but ah well.
Eau Rouge is fricking crazy... in Aston I can drive it flat even blinded and reach a low 17' o overall, but in the Audi i cant scrap through it even with a massive lift, the rear of the car just slides everywhere
Hi, I've just moved to ACC and I cant seem to get that setup to match what i see in the game. Can anyone make sense of the setup? Is it because i'm on latest version of the game? Tyre pressure in the 60s? tyre compound 0, camber 9 etc. would love to give it a whirl.

Hey guys, I don't know if someone can help. But always when I am trying to take the corner at 2:05 I spun, I think there is a small bump. I notice that usually don't hit the apex, do you have some tips to know what is the best way to take that corner full throttle?
Hey, it’s 9 months ago and i dont know i could help you, but you have to be very smooth on your steering wheel. it’s quite stable when driving R8, but i think Mercedes one is the most unstable car when turning that corner. start from the right side as you can, and veeery smoooth on steering when turning left. you dont need to hit the apex. it could bump the car and make a spin. when turning the corner, if you feel the car is gonna spin, just release the steering a bit when keep your throttle on full. it would make the car smooth drift and almost nothing lost on time.
First of all great lap! Secondly, as I'm a noob when it comes to setup... what do I have to change in the setup you uploaded to make it strong in a race? Any specific values that I definitely need to change? I'm gonna try to set some laps later to see if I can handle the setup's balance.
I guess you could move brake bias forward to make it more consistent and confident for you, definitely less camber to reduce tyre wear and then with fuel lid just test how car reacts and you can change ride height and rake if it’s too twitchy or too understeery, tbh I don’t know that much about setups so I stick to the basics but they seem to get the job done
@@Tortellinii Thanks mate, I'll be testing that. Do you have any recomendations for camber values, should I try the default ones maybe? The aero stuff should be done easily. But it's an understeery setup? That sounds better than the typical Audi turn in oversteer that I hate :)
Amazing lap! For your race setup suggestion is the decreased camber just for protecting the fronts a bit more, and front ride height to avoid bottoming out on high fuel?
Of course lower camber will help in the longer races, for 20min it should be fine but sure that’s a bit too much for 60 or maybe even 30, ride height wise will depend a lot from track conditions and grip but I would say that it should be stable enough with what it is, you don’t need to compensate in ride height as automagic does it for you, of course more fuel means more load and more force during the compression but in acc fuel doesn’t change rideheight when stationary, if it has problems sure make it higher, it’s all there to test and play with 😁
With the way you drove that lap wouldn't it be hard on the front tires? Amazing hotlap. Just curious. And are you able to get the Audi the Eau Rougue constantly? That car tries to kill me there. I run 2.17s at spa.
Audi behaves in such a way you think I am scrubbing front tyres even tho I am not, I made a setup that is consistant through Eau Rouge and Radillion, otherwise it wouldnt make sence, no point of having a setup capable of 15s if you cant get it round the track consistantly, all setups I recently did were made to work in the race as well as in hotlaps I did
@@Tortellinii I love all your vids. I've only been sim racing since March and I've learned a lot from you. I love watching you race with Jardier too. Just curious... how did you get the Audi stable through Eau Rouge? I spent hours tweaking the setup and if the track wasn't optimum it was a 50/50 shot for me if flat out. LoL!!
More wing, and not slammed to the ground, I don’t really remember touching dampers but maybe sth that I did with them ended up working but that was just few clicks of anything, Audi has good top speed anyway here so you can add wing and use that downforce to make it all stable everywhere else
Thanks for sharing set and Motec. One thing I found interesting is the amount of slip you induce into the front tyres in the medium speed corners. That is not criticism just an observation 🙂 how could I criticise a sub '16 .
The evo was introduced for 2019 season and got mainly some aerodynamic upgrades, it’s just new version of what is almost the same car for couple of years now but upgraded and rehomologated from 2019 up
I dont really dunno what is wrong. I dont think there is different between PC, Xbox or PS in physics. So it is just wheel with pedals or me. I tried many different setups of car but braking points are absolutely nonsence for me. I have to brake MUCH MORE earlier, my top speeds are much lower, your TC and ABS controls dont even blink and my dashboard is like a christmas tree. I saw many videos, tips, tricks etc...i try to do everything but the biggest difference are braking points. There is now way ho to brake to late like you and other pros. How, why..?! I cant find somewhere any reason for that. Could be the reason pedal base for logitec g920?
g920 pedals take a lot of force to push down, I have them too. it's like a little bit of rubber so you really need to press the brakes hard to get above like 80% input
Usually it’s not really about a sheer braking performance but about corner entry and mid corner, if you are able to go through the corner with higher speed there is less deceleration to do, it’s all tiny margins but they add up and make a difference
@@Tortellinii Oh wow didnt expect a reply. Uh I got some questions. For 1.8.13 what has changed for setups? Does bumpstop range 0 still have the same affect? Neg toe still? Do you notice pressures are a bit different. And lap times are definetly slower by 0.1-0.4 right?
It snaps at the top when the road starts to level out, but the car is pointing upwards from going up the hill and when that happens the rear gets light at the very top, if there is still load on the rear wheels and you are turning it will snap. You have to go for a line that will enable you to transition to turning left or straighten the car out before the rear goes light over the top
Of course, that’s why they lift, and are always careful in eau rouge, only on quali laps or real push laps they go full throttle but here we do it usually with perfect conditions while usually spa24 conditions are nowhere near perfect, sometimes on old tyres, a bit greasy track or nowhere near optimum grip track, tbh overall grip in acc is quite high compared to irl or at least optimum conditions are way to commonly used, plus there are also other factors that define grip of the track that are just not simulated
If I play the video at half the speed it's still looks faster than me
Crazy drive ! Im stock at 2:22 and I think Im fast enough 😂
Just amazing, so much to learn from your laps, thanks

just lift just before eau rouge so you can go on throtle up radillon earlier
Crazy lap, I was actually just searching on your channel a Porsche Setup around here but that will do
YOU ARE E.T !! AMAZING ! NICE JOB
awesome lap really enjoyable
Outstanding lap man welldone, plz do Paul Ricard next with the r8 evo
Fantastic setup!
It’s aggressive preset with literally few random clicks here and there XD
I just did 2:25 in the 720s on my perfect lap, and here u are going 10 seconds faster?😅 damn..
2:15 WHAT
1:41 oh no my PC is broken, nvm it's the video
The amount of track limits here is insane
Maybe in f1 but those same limits don't apply here
Not sure if we are playing the same game.....
keep em coming get ya subs up ;-)
Amazing lap!!! Thanks for sharing! I'm curious what you will do with this Audi at Monza!
dayum
can you share the setup if possbile? Thank you
(Found it. Thanks)

Tbh When I look at this lap now I am surprised myself about that tho 😅🤷♂️
Damn that eau rouge looked illegal af
I don´t see big differences to my line, but im 8 seconds slower lol
Gt7 I do a 218 on acc 225 kinda strange but of course on gt7 I run no tc,
Crazy crazy time, I can get a 2:19 and can not imagine a 2:15
No setup😔
Meu melhor tempo foi 2:27:554 😭😭
is this circuit laser scanned? 🤔
Yes
In eau rouge 0:33 there are long white stripes on the left side of the curb and they are real bumbs in the game as in real life

25c track temp…… But what air temp ;)
Too long ago to remember, probably 19 or 20

Minus the understeering at some corners an Minor mistakes you could have done a bit faster too.
But a good run dude .
Nicely done man.
What do you mean with plus Motec?
He includes the Motec file, which can be used by Motec software to show session data.. See this for an idea th-cam.com/video/SUxZl7IcYRE/w-d-xo.html
