Hi Raphael. I have a question and I trust you and your expertise to provide me with the best answer. At what point do I have too much house? As you know, it’s just Mikasa and I moving to Florida permanently. We’ll occasionally have a few guests staying for a day or two. Basically, how many square feet of a home do you recommend for a young couple?
Hi Eren, I would honestly say that if it's just you two that you wouldn't need something this large. I recently helped another young couple in this community and they found ~1900 SqFt 4/2 was enough for them as one of them works from home and they do forsee their family growing as they get into their 30s. But on the other side of the coin I've had some couples "downsize" to 2500-3000 SqFt from up North and they found anything smaller than that to be too small for them even though those homes were a 4/3. I would recommend narrowing down the room count you need and we can find out what homes with that space feel like at different SqFt.
