Good video! Just wondering, you removed the right side panel 2nd. Is that the amplifier for Bose speakers behind that 2nd panel. I ask because I have no sound from mine (B7). Replaced the fuse on driver side panel, fuse behind the radio an still nothing. Would I need to change out a fuse on that amplifier for the Bose speakers to work again? Only stopped a few months ago
Awesome, just dropped some milk in the trunk of my Audi and I was guessing how to remove the parts for cleaning. Just a question.. under the battery is there any material that may absorb milk? Or is it just iron / plastic ? Thank you

Awesome video! I have a rear washer pipe leaking on a passat b7. I can't remove the side trim in the boot around the "pull to release the back seats" lever and I can't see any obvious screws (like in the audi). Any ideas?
How do you remove the trim on the pillar near the boot lid? My windshield washer fluid hose is probabbly rotten or something and the fluid just pours into the cabin instead of the back window.
Hey there! If the rear washer fluid is leaking into the boot the most likely cause it the motor itself within the tailgate. When they go they tend to 'blow' a seal and they are not watertight anymore, either that or the main pipe has popped off. That would be my first port of call anyway :-) --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Donations both needed and welcome! Hello Total Technik, thanks for these amazing videos. Do you happen to have a video for removing the boot wall lining side panels for an A6 C5? I managed to remove several screws but came to a point where there's nothing visible to be unscrewed and the lower panel seems to be glued to the chassis.

do you have the same video for the 2010 a3 5-door? Something very strange happened and the interior boot light (it's on the left side panel) stopped working. I pulled out the light to replace the lamp but saw that the cable that powered the light up was not connected at all (so don't know how that could have happened...). I went it conspiracy mode and thought someone got access to my car and disconnected it to power up a spy GPS tracker in my boot... Anyway, I can't find the cable anywhere - it must have dropped behind the side panel I guess, so to find it and reach it I need to remove the side panel... Or maybe you have a better/easier/faster idea?

Hey - thank you! There is not a dedicated connector, but you will note several wires soldered direct to the side rear window for the aerial and heating. @@TotalTechnik Hi, no I was mainly asking if the battery needs to be disconnected to protect the head unit and the risks of any fuses blowing? Or is it fine to unplug everything as it is? Thanks 🙂
Ah ok, you're thinking more in general than about this specific video. Generally you do not have to disconnect the battery for most things, unless airbag related. Also, you do not generally have to disconnect battery completely for most jobs such as airbag which need battery disconnection, you just disconnect one pole, as covered in depth in our airbag videos if of more interest. But generally no you'll leave it connected for many jobs. --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Donations both needed and welcome! 2007 audi a4 and i'm trying to find my sunroof drain hose nipple. I think its inside the rear bumper cover and therefore i'll need to remove the trunk side panels.
Hey there! Usually sunroof drains are located in the wheel wells. You need to remove the wheel arch liner, and you should find the drain points there. They have fronts are rears on these I think (from memory). The rear ones are more likely to clog as opening on the nipples is quite small (many people open them up a bit, i.e. cut them a little larger to allow more to pass through). Best of luck!
