I Bought These with 2 cables, a pure silver with copper, and a very thick Pure copper cable.. I bought them because of your good review.. I really really Like them, the sound is Awesome! (For the Budget Very Interesting) Thanks Mate! Greetings Dennis
@@PrimeAudioReviews Sorry about the previous misspelled word -(goof) *good. anyway I am comparing these to the KZ ZAS. I'm just looking for a sub $100 IEM that has dynamic sound, a decent stage and imaging and can handle the complexities and nuances of large scale orchestral works and make them come alive ( Mahler, Respighi, etc.) Any other KZ or other suggestions. Thanks for your help!
I'm looking for a set of in ears to mostly hear my vocals through as well as guitar. Would you recommend these? I was also looking at the kz AS10. As well as the kz zs10 pro.
im looking to get an impedance adapter ive already orderd these which one would you recommend there is multiple options available online all with diferent specs
I have a question about these and other models from KZ in general; if I was to use them with a music player from say Astel & Kern who make some high-end stuff, would I get the full potential out of KZ’s products? I own a pair of ZS-10 Pros and I plan on buying one of Astel & Kern’s Entry-Level players.
There's also KZ AST with a new BA version, was review as a warm iem's, if you have available time can you compare AST with AS please? So I can have reference guide to try iem with BA, thanks.
Brilliant review! fellow aussie here, I'm looking for some budget (sub $200) in ear monitors, I'm a drummer so will need to handle a low of low end but i also play guitar from time to time and want something thats pretty well rounded. Was looking at the Shure SE215 but heard from a few people that the audio quality in these some of theses KZ models is superior? If there are any good in ears you would recommend for a live musician who wants the best sound quality in that bracket, I'd be happy to purchase through an affiliate link!
Hi, sorry for the late response. I think something like the KZ ZS10 Pro X would be great for you. The AS16 has attenuated bass which would make it not ideal for drummers but it's a good monitor for vocals and guitar.
@@PrimeAudioReviews oh, I thought the AS 16 pro offer deeper base than rhapsody. So it's the other way around. I'm looking for something that can work well with hiphop, R&B. So u reckon the rhapsody work better?
so what would be the best earbuds to buy thats not soo expensive but good an good bass an good to listen to music with lots of bass an good for gaming an to plug into my go xlr mini . an im in australia so yeah.
@@PrimeAudioReviews so overall its best to get the hexa or you know any others cause im going from turtle beach earbuds an i broke it then super glued it back cause it poped out the thing anyways max is 150 aud all up but would like it to be less
Not really. Planars have authority more akin to a dynamic driver. BA is more about bass tones - well, specifically in the sub-bass. Mid-bass is more comparable but planar drivers have more texture.
@@PrimeAudioReviews right, then I better get a hybrid like the ZAT, I was thinking of this or As24, but now I am afraid they won't sound musical, just 'tones'.. Hmmm. I have planars and dd's, I wanted something really super technical
imma start a new comment sorry cant see anything in the others so its best to get hexa not moondrops aria snow or the one in this vid or anything an with the hexa is it 2 pin thing like moondrop aria snow so i can use this cable with a mic .

Got these for $33 after tax. Well worth it upgrading from the AS16!
How many of the drivers aren't bunged up with glue?
This is a very goof review and analysis. Are these more suitable for classical music listening? are they good for jazz?
Yes, the airiness works well for classical and they have ample body and bass for jazz.

I like the KZ ZS10 Pro X. You could also take a look at the Tin Hifi C3 or of course, Moondrop Aria SE.
I'm looking for a set of in ears to mostly hear my vocals through as well as guitar. Would you recommend these? I was also looking at the kz AS10. As well as the kz zs10 pro.
These are good for vocals and guitar but they're a bit light on sub-bass.
Speaking of that "larger soundstage that everybody loves." What would you rec as the widest stage in the IEM world? Thank you.
Probably the LZ A7. There are others but my mind is drawing a blank right now.
@@PrimeAudioReviews how about lz a6? I have a6.
Finalaudio. e5000.

A 30 ohm adapter should do the trick.
@@PrimeAudioReviews thanks
Nice review, nice IEM. I just use a 10cm extension cable that adds a bit more resistance. The stock cable and tips are not that good, just OK.
Hello, would this be good for a bass player ? My current 7hz Sonus is distorting even at low volumes when used as iem for bass guitar.
No, this is not a good bass monitor. Get a KZ ZS10 Pro X/Pro 2 instead.
@@PrimeAudioReviews But the bass response is better in this one. I'm confused.
@timothyandrews5975 this is an all BA driver iem. The bass is tight but it lacks impact and body
so will i have to use that black piece to put into my go xlr mini or no will anything work in the xlr mini
It's worth paying more for this one over the 7Hz Zero?
I prefer the Zero but YMMV.

Which should i get ? The kz as16 pro, kz zs 10 pro x or kz terminator ? I like warm sound and i got a zsn pro x
ZS10 Pro 2.
It definitely looks quite a bit better than the AS16 imho.
Is the bass good? Will it work well for gaming?
The bass is very tight and controlled but lacks impact. Pretty good for gaming.
Which one is the best for gaming buddy?
Soratune YI01 or Celest Wyvern Abyss.
Do these have real drivers or just like the kz issue before which has fake drivers in them?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

TRN ST5 next?
Is it better sound quality than the cca rhapsody & simgot EW200 , since it's a bit more expensive?
Rhapsody is better imo, in tonal balance, detail, and bass response.

@@PrimeAudioReviews thankyou, will get that
kz zax or as16 pro? thanks
As16 Pro, though I prefer zs10 Pro X and zvx.

Truthear HEXA.
@@PrimeAudioReviews thanks man an you think it be better then getting moon drops aria snow an then get this cable with a mic or get these
The Aria snow is good too but it's brighter and slightly less resolving. Arias are known to have some build quality issues too.

an as well i want to spend the money for a cable that has a mic
In some countries they eat deep fried tape worms?
Yummy!
What is the point of a impedance adapter and where do you get one?
It makes the IEM sound as intended regardless of what source you use. You can find them cheap on Amazon, AliExpress, Shopee etc.
Is the bass anything like iem planar bass?
Not really. Planars have authority more akin to a dynamic driver. BA is more about bass tones - well, specifically in the sub-bass. Mid-bass is more comparable but planar drivers have more texture.

I don't remember now but you just need like16 or 32 is enough.
I just got some JBL pro, how much of an upgrade are this ones compared to them?
Lmao ones wired and one isn't so why even compare?

Really? A moo sound when you mention Adèle? I can't stand her music either, but what are you, five?
That was a slow motion "noooo" as I dropped the IEM. Lighten up guy.
Too v shape for me
