YG is a music label that trains for the longest period of time in the K-pop industry, 3-6 years (except for Chiquita, who trains for 3 months before debuting). Trainees who are not selected by YG are of interest to many other music labels, even major labels take them to debut
Because at 13 yrs old she was ready for the baby monster project. She’s 15 now You’re not the only one who cries, this sound still gives me chills. The snippets of video were from the series “Last Evaluation” that you can find on their channel. You’ll learn about each girl when they were trainees at YG Entertainment before they debuted last April.
@@RTOYO Among the Babymonster members, Chiquita had the shortest training period. But it was still almost 2 years (at least). I don't know where you got the "3 months" from. Even in the official "Babymonster - Debut Member Announcement" YG stated that Chiquita had the shortest training period and that it was "one year and nine months". That announcement was made in spring of 2023, which was still more than 6 months before the group's official 6-member debut in November 2023. So she had almost two years of training before her selection for the group was announced and more than two years before the official debut. I like your comment overall. I just noticed that the information about Chiquita's training period is not correct.
Dream is an inspirational Disney song, and the biggest crime is that it never got a MV. Alot of viewers instantly became Monstiez (fandom name) when they heard Dream. It is a tearjerker, you arent the only one!
I can fully believe that as it's a beautiful song. Yes it's sad that it never got a MV but I think the video that shows gives the song more meaning as it shows their hard work
They did a survival show called the last evaluation which is where alot of the clips for dream comes from it shows how they came to be baby monster and I highly suggest watching it gives the song dream a whole new meaning. Some of my favorite songs by baby monster are Like That,Stuck in the middle, love maybe and love in my heart.
Its a very emotional song..even when they perform it during their live performances...watch it on their ,"See you there" fanmeetings.. Also recommend Stuck in the middle mv and special performances if your into their vocal prowess. 😊 you'll love it ❤
@michellekiwas2587 on my previous video I looked at stuck in the middle and it was BEAUTIFUL. The girls looked amazing and the song...they sounded like angels
Thank you for that reaction. I was one of those who became an instant fan after hearing Dream when it was first released. Then I watched the Last Evaluation episodes and followed them since. I still get teary eyed whenever I hear this song. It's a marker in Babymonster history that encompasses the hard work they've gone through to get to where they're at. When they sing it live in concert, it puts people in tears. Chiquita broke down when they sang it in her hometown in Thailand, and THAT broke the crowd. The girls are loved and many of us regard them as little sisters with eternal support and the high hopes they will succeed in whatever they do.
Thank you so much for your comment and for watching. I never knew that about Dream and it just tugged at my heart strings hearing it for the first time.
It’s so fun rediscovering BABYMONSTER with you! Love it! ❤ You’ll no doubt get a few negative “fans” eventually. I suggest you never feed their need for attention and just block them ASAP. You’ll know it right away ‘cause they will just make you feel cringy after reading their opinions or insults. But let’s not dwell on this because for every toxic “fan” there are hundreds of thousands of beautiful true fans who will love you too. Thanks again for your fun reactions 😊
Thank you for supporting BABYMONS7ER. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ You might want to check out their “Christmas Without You” here: th-cam.com/video/wJAIQy5IeCM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gv3Pax1dUDOc5cDA
Glad you sequenced them like you did. The jump from "Dream" to "Drip" is astounding and shows just how talented the members are. YG sometimes has "problems" wrangling their senior talent, but there's no question they've got the best talent scouts and trainers in the biz, and they never let them debut until they're razor-sharp. Blackpink was a knockout from their debut and now Baemon is showing YG's success with their GG's is no fluke. Glad you enjoyed the videos. Now, for the "to do" list, Since you like dance videos, I'm going to add a couple of (G)I-dle performance videos. I wouldn't do these first because becoming familiar with the members is part of the fun in watching them dance. First one is "My Bag," which is Idle at their swaggy best. (Soyeon wears a bucket hat that covers most of her face and you still can't take your eyes off her.) The second is a bit out of season, but it's the "Nightmare" Halloween-themed performance of "Put It Straight." with the members dancing in costume as characters such as the Joker (Soyeon is just insane in this), Annabelle, the Mummy, and others. You lucky person, getting to see these incredible groups and musics for the first time. The ride is just getting started...
@@GingerT4U2You're welcome. I know it sounds a little silly since I'm just one ant in the anthill, but I really do feel a duty to not only support the groups, but also help people discover Kpop. We in the west have been fed nothing but doom and gloom since forever and you can see it in all the "Entertainment Is DYING!!!!!" pieces on TH-cam and I go NOOOOOOOO! There's an entire world of incredible, powerful music out there made by smart talented people who work like dogs to create these amazing songs and videos. The only drag to it is that there's so much that I've still just scratched the surface, not only of the current groups but all the groups that came before like 2ne1, Big Bang, Girls Generation, Seo Tajie and the Boys, that helped pave the way for Blackpink to storm the world. So I feel I'm doing my part to help pay back all the joy Kpop has given me by helping newbies discover groups I think they'll like, like (G)I-dle, which to me is the most important group because of their fiercely-guarded independence and fearless creativity, and we fans do have an impact because the sales, streams, and views give Idle the clout to do the kinds of music they want to. So, glad you're enjoying the ride. Keep it up...

@Baemonworld-c8u my jaw just dropped 🤯😲 thank u so much for this list. Please can you comment on this when it's ready then I'd like to do a reaction to it 🤩🤗
again, thanks for reacting to baemon, that's his nickname. if you want to delve deeper into the girls' talents and personalities you definitely have to react to their black and white performances which are in this link th-cam.com/play/PLQ92aTgUkVvaQBAASRH8SIqWTeRKvM2fB.html&si=UpyKLuYv-CC1NmMP and then the introductions of each of them, these introductions are on their BabyMonster channel among their first videos.
Love your reactions. Guides are good but I highly making a deep dive into them…you won’t regret it. I understand that it’s a huge commitment so I don’t blame you if you opt for some guides. If you’re interested in learning more about them, I recommend looking into their Individual Live Performances (in black and white). They are the first thing YG (Agency) released as a teaser and I definitely got hooked. Then checkout their individual Introduction videos where you get to see how they progressed from their early training days til debut…their Character Playlist is good to check out too. Then, I highly recommend watching the Last Evaluation series. You get to see the girls perform missions individually and as a team both in singing and dancing. Hope you get to react to more Babymonster content, especially their pre-debut contents. Thanks!
Guides can be helpful. It depends on the quality. Most of them are about 75% correct, but they also often include as "facts" things that are just rumors and guesses made by fans and repeated so much that people think they are facts. So they should be viewed with that in mind. They are not 100% accurate. Fortunately, YG and Babymonster have produced official "Introduction" videos for each member (available on the Babymonster official y o u t u b e channel) which are a good start for learning who each member is and getting to know their names.
@@GingerT4U2 Just for your reference, most of the images/clips in the "Dream" music video are from the official member "Introduction" videos on the Babymonster channel. (There's an introduction video for each member.)
