I think he was raised by his mother (solo parent). Not sure though.

I still don't know. I don't have any information about his father.
I never heard about Joshua's father either, but I'm quite sure he has both parents because he mentioned about his "parents" several times. His mother is Korean(traditional) Medicine doctor I guess?
And his parents are both Korean but I don't know if they changed their nationality into American. I think people call Joshua (Korean) American.
I think he's father is businessman... correct me if I'm wrong
