There are lots of massages in this video too ! Life is always tough … Buy you guys are managing very well. Thank you for sharing! Always beautiful scenery, local introductions, backyard stories of boat life,,, hope Fabio not taking a fall again,,,, always the real discovery channel to me! Great compilation!!
I guess you could wake each day and ask yourselves, "what will break today?" Then, when nothing does, you can celebrate that nothing did. Love you guys! Safe travels ❤ That big boat arriving would have been my sign to get cleaned up, eat breakfast and get in line for the veggies!
HIVA OA was spectacular, your editing and cinematography is superb. The knowledge of the local inhabitants, their past History, the splendid views all encrusted within this episode takes us away from our constant daily chores of Home Repair. You both are truly enjoying life on the water and we are grateful for sharing with us, your adventures. Enjoy the solitude and your Natural surroundings.
Hiva Oa definitely looks like an Eden. Your story telling throughout all of your videos has been really impressive. I like how you keep it real... Showing the frustrations and the delights.
WOW, that's a big ship. Yep life's tough ...and expensive. It could be worse however You could be stuck in a 9-5 job with no way out. I hope the windlass is an easy fix for Fabio. Fair 💨's and Following 🌊's.
Another great episode guys ‼️ 🎉 Love the continued philosophy. 😊👍🏻 Amazing supply ship supplying the islands. Happy, I'm sure to get some fresh produce....and fuel. More things breaking! Bummer. Thanks for sharing how to receive packages. Need to keep that in mind. Any thoughts to share on how to order to get delivery? 😊 See you next time. ✨ 🌊 💨 ⛵️ 🏝️ 👙 🌞 ✨
Thank you!! We’re so glad you’re enjoying the episodes! We’ve been using an agent to have things shipped in because we don’t have anyone to send things to otherwise. West Marine Pro has been great as their shipping costs are quite low. 😊🙌
great video. thanks for the segment on local history and culture. Don't know if you've been told before but, Fabio seems to have a brother over at the Les Frenchies channel who sounds just like him. Antoine and his American wife Colleen have a Paris travel guide vlog.
Thank you! Essentially all the boats in the Marquesas were in Hiva Oa because of the weather. It was one of the few protected places. Normally they are a bit more spread out.
I appreciate you guys showing the less romantic side of anchoring. We will be doing a lot of that this season so definitively going at it with my eyes wide open based on your experiences. hey so what's with the Brown Univ Tshirt I see the logo a lot you used to teach there ?. We are 1 hour from it ;)
Thank you for watching!! Yup, anchoring can be a bit frustrating at times and we have a great anchor. (Ultra) Fabio trained at Brown and stayed on staff for a while as clinical associate professor. We used to live in Providence, then moved to Florida. Are you in Mass? 😊😊
@@HarborsUnknown yep Our Evergreen is moored in Winthrop Mass while we upgrade her little by little every year hoping to follow y'all foodsteps in 4 years :0
@@HarborsUnknown Hey By the way if Fabio is medically inclined here is an idea for you guys for a future episode that I feel no other channel has covered: how about the physical demands of sailing. Granted you guys and many of the top channels have a lot of electrical winches and various assists but still those of us that dream of going in a few years wonder if we will be physically fit to be able to do it. So any insights into that could be very interesting I think for the "dreamers" out there :)
your making great episodes , nice work ! YOUR DO A SPA DAY ! YODA TOO ! 👍
Thanks so much David! I’ll let Fabio know the girls will be at the spa. 😂
There are lots of massages in this video too ! Life is always tough …

Thank you! We’re so glad you enjoyed that part. We’re not familiar with that channel, we’ll have to check them out!
Another great video guys. Seems to be very crowded. Is it peak season or has the Marquesas become like the Bahamas ?
Thank you! Essentially all the boats in the Marquesas were in Hiva Oa because of the weather. It was one of the few protected places. Normally they are a bit more spread out.

Cheers
😊😊
In the last episode, Fabio got the scratch, in this episode, he fell on his knee. Good thing you have a doctor on board. 😂
😂😂😂😂 doctors make the worst patients 😂😂
I just wish stuff didn’t break all the time !
😂😂😂😂 it’s the way it is, we embrace it and roll with the punches. 🤩🤩
Stock up on food , then run to somewhere more remote and less crowded 😃🍻
😊😊😊 we did! Tahuata was wonderful and we spent some quality time. 🤩 thanks for watching
😎😎👍👍👍❤
🫶🙌🙏
Gotta be a little nerve wracking leaving the boat for any length of time when it's that hard to anchor!
You got that right! We were on the boat for about a week before we left it so we figured it would be ok.
Did you go see Paul Gaugin’s Home?
No, we did not go. 😊😊😊 thanks for watching 😊😊
