- "I'm here to see Leonard Lizard about a job and I won't take no for an answer. Can I see him?" - "No." - "Okay" Dnt know why but it made me laugh ahahah
If you know the intent of SOC, you'd know that it's an insult to adults' senses! This is how adults act. Now, imagine the kids are in fact doin' in in real life much like these kids in this sketch.
I don't think it has anything to do with our freedom. It's merely a culture difference! I think American television is more strict with foul language, but we allow more violence in our movies and television. It has more to do with what is perceived to be more politically correct or accepted. So yes, we are the land of the free. Go see an R-rated movie here, and you will see a lot less regulations.
Censorship does have a lot to do with freedom of speech.. how can you say its 'free speech' if what you are saying is deemed inappropriate and censored by someone else.. it contradicts itself.... Its the most basic of 'Nanny State' laws.. and you wont see many different regulations between the US and Australia in terms of viewing an R-rated or XXX-rated movies.. we don't show them in publicly cinemas because there isn't a market for that here..
... Wait a sec... This was an actual show? I think I've seen it before. BUT I can't believe they let children cuss and talk like that in a show... This wouldn't exist in the U.S
