This game........ I mean, you unlock upgrades? Cool? And you will find other cars. Again cool? Considering 99% of the time, I never actually looked of them, I more often crashed into them, cause they were parked in the way.
I don't know how he plays this game like a master, I cannot play normally even with a gamepad (I passed the game 3 times). Bought this game only for online when I haven't heard about mwo yet.
I have played that game for a very long time and I do love the game, it was the Need For Speed game that I have played on my PlayStation 3 a lot. Once I am like, done with the campaign of the game, I’ll try to get the game 100%. Getting 1st at all the races at every single car, every billboard, every cameras, every jackpots Also, I heard that World War 2 deserves a remaster somewhere before
I loved this game for the soundtrack and how simple it was.....it was a bare bones NFS experience like the original 5 games with the added car upgrades. I'm getting extremely tired of the modern NFS games trying to emulate the feeling of NFS most wanted and carbon but with over the top customization and garbage soundtracks. I grew up with NFS III and High Stakes.....that is what the true NFS experience is to me and what I truly want out of a NFS game. I like the simplicity of pick a car and drive fast and those cool showcases they had in the menus. There was no story, no customization....just you and your fast cars using skill to drive rather than upgrades and tuning. NFS 2022 I expect a great soundtrack and sound design.....but I feel like it's gonna be another most wanted/carbon style attempt with a goofy story and weird physics.
I enjoyed this nfs when it came out, I had alot of friends that I played it with, made it alot of run I had no complaints about it. I enjoyed you had to drive the car to actually unlock stuff for it. It made you drive cars you wouldn't 💯
Agreed! I also had a blast with this game. Actually met a few life-long friends through it. It will always be special to me. It’s definitely not a great NFS game (especially doesn’t deserve the Most Wanted name), but if you forget the name it is genuinely a lot of fun!
Definitely would not mind this being remastered with all the dlc on next gen. Would be great if they added the cut cars too that are basically there but that would be too much effort. Have so many great memories with this on ps3 when it was new. Got it for Christmas in 2012 and that was a great year with the dlc.
Ironically Burnout Fairhaven did 3 things right: driving model, music and multiplayer. Something Ghosts only achived in one game they've made and it was music in NFS 2015.
The main thing Burnout Fairhaven needed (gameplay wise) is higher top speeds for non hyper cars. Everything has upgrades, but nothing has power upgrades. If someone could make a mod that gives Venom or Veyron acceleration & speed to everything else, that would be great.
its like start of the end, im miss the era of old nfs, not even the stories getting considerably less interesting and engaging, but the most important part. The goddamn physics, i wish all new nfs had physics same as nfs carbon or mw (2005), or at least similar, you just felt the car.
I mean, its pretty obvious that this game will be remastered, its just that criterion will give the source code to the hpr devs (that they gave it already months ago or something) then pretty much work on upscaling the graphics + maybe add a livery editor then release it in 2022 or 2023 (depending on how well the licensing goes, i hope they will give the same car list + dlc cars as the original)
I had great amounts of fun in it, 300hrs in Single Player alone on PSP. Stuff like Beating all Most Wanted with the 911 Carrera S. Still though, didn't beat the Hennesey Venom GT in it yet. All else crumbled
Ok, my take on how they could've implemented some sort of car progression Make certain cars or a couple of cars open when reaching a certain sp limit, their swap points appear on the map but you have to manually drive to them and swap to be able to fast travel there at any moment
I totally agree. This game was really good for what it tried to do. I always saw it as a Burnout Paradise sequel, even before playing it (I mean, do you look at reviews before buying or what?), so it was never dissapointing. The only thing that bothered me was the input lag on pc and the crash cams (very unsatisfyings crashes compared to burnout).
I've a lot of fun with this game with my high school friend by challenging myself to only use Ford Focus to stomp all Blacklist. It's RNG based, but it's pretty fun NGL.
"The game will be remastered by 2023." I'd really like to see the Wii U version with the DLC on the Switch. If they want to sell me on a remaster on other consoles, they'll have to add something new (like HPR's livery/paint editor or the ability to play every event with every car).
Look at the beta of this game, Criterion tried so much to be the true sucessor of the original 2005. But EA rushed the hell out of it and it became what we got. The unofficial Burnout Paradise 2 with real cars and polices.
I like playing this game on PS Vita. On Wii U ( which is the Best console Version ) You can disable traffic, change colour of your car, change time from Day to night and vice versa and also shake cops!
i actually had fun and is having fun now with the game. but because of ea's bullshit way of handling things like getting rid of the entire campaign, story, game mechanics, rushed release, crashcam, the title MOST WANTED for a burnout game, a half assed blacklist with no personality, the trash progression system, the removal of customisation, stupid physics, shit cops but. BUT, THERE IS SOME FUN IN IT the graphics the sounds. the way i enjoyed it is i play it as a burnout title which almost made it as a burnout game, eventhough i hate all the EA-ishness in it
Its a good game, good car catalog, good multiplayer, perfect car sounds, good physics, perfect graphics for 2012, fun police chases and satisfactory soundtrack. Only Underground 2, Most Wanted 2005 and Carbon fanatic fanboys will say "Its a crap game" because they follow the haters critics without create a original critic. This game should be better in alpha that was a real Most Wanted 2 game.
i never played this game, i refused to, but admittedly, looking at the city, i do like the atmosphere. had of they been given time to give it proper customization, characters and cutscenes, this could have been a good successor to the original most wanted
I played the shit out of the multiplayer in this game and really liked it, I just wish we were able to pick the kind of events we wanted to play. Apart from the takedown mechanics and crash cams, I think the multiplayer was very underrated.
I never understood why people praised the old most wanted, it's just an okay game imo. I was disapointed with it after playing underground 1 and 2... especially after underground 2, they threw way too much out the window just to be able to add cops, no drift races, no in depth visual customization, worse sounds, worse controls ( using NOS increased the grip of your car to the point where you could roll over at high speed when turning... ), it wasn't about the beautiful world of night time street racing, instead they went piss filter with cops, wreck and murder your way to be the most wanted in the city, hooray.
I've barely played the Underground series, however I've watched a lot of videos on these games. To me, NFS Most Wanted is way more intuitive and engaging all things considered. There is a proper story, the physics are better as the cars feel heavier and more realistic (in contrast to the cars randomly flipping in Underground) and the cop chases are challenging and intense. I'd go as far as calling the Underground series shallow in comparison. NFS MW had vastly different aspects to it, including still very in-depth vehicle customization options and open world exploration where in police chases, chaos and destruction could take place, combined with what I believe to be an impressive and varied sound design. In my opinion, NFS MW truly exceeded the expectations that came after the success of the Underground series.
@@legendavid993 I don't care about stories in racing games, I'm not interested in Timmy's relationship problems with the cops. The physics, handling, bodyroll, suspension simulation feels like you're driving a tank that has extremely soft suspension with high bodyroll, in others words... Doesn't make any sense. Vehicle customization is bare bones, not even a dyno to tune your car, all you get is 4 sliders... U2 has open world exploration aswell. The sound design is boring, most cars sound stock even when maxed out performance wise, which again... Doesn't make any sense. You said you haven't played U1 and U2 yet you claim that MW exceeded expectations, what expectations then? I atleast played all the NFS games that was available on PC and PS1. I saw the evolution of NFS games, what sacrifices they had to make in order to gain a huge improvement that nullifies that sacrifice, they had a well balanced evolution, till MW, then came Carbon which was what MW should've been in the first place. The autosculpt was a worty new feature to compensate the very few features that was missing from U2 and that non sense tank handling.
Really should have called it Burnout: Need For Speed. That's literaly it. Imagine the marekting they could have done. It shoudl ahve beena Brunout game instead of a Need For Speed Game
MW12 is so sad because it was going to be MW 2, an then EA fucking ruined probably our only chance to of ever getting a continuation of Most Wanteds story.
Honestly i have a passion for this game since It was the first Need For Speed Ive played, Even though nowadays I only play Need For Speed on Playstation 2 ._.) somehow i can't remember anything about the Soundtrack
I love how all the cops in this game behave like rhinos lmao also i'd like to add this game actually had the best open world imo, a lot of really cool map design :D and the trippy cutscenes were really cool to me
The story is non existent and boring but the gameplay is fast paced arcade racing fun with unique game modes to play with friends and is (in my opinion) a true successor to Burnout Paradise. The name was it’s downfall, as many got it confused with the classic MW (even EA has the wrong release date on the EA Games app on pc) and expected it to be that kind of game.

This game........ I mean, you unlock upgrades? Cool? And you will find other cars. Again cool? Considering 99% of the time, I never actually looked of them, I more often crashed into them, cause they were parked in the way.
This game is a good example of what happens when nfs hot pursuit does a one night stand with burnout paradise.
if they didn't rush citerion it wouldve been a true most wanted continuation
I don't know how he plays this game like a master, I cannot play normally even with a gamepad (I passed the game 3 times). Bought this game only for online when I haven't heard about mwo yet.
I have played that game for a very long time and I do love the game, it was the Need For Speed game that I have played on my PlayStation 3 a lot.
Once I am like, done with the campaign of the game, I’ll try to get the game 100%. Getting 1st at all the races at every single car, every billboard, every cameras, every jackpots
Also, I heard that World War 2 deserves a remaster somewhere before
If I'm correct he said that when someone mentioned nfs 2015 pepega mod or nfs 2015 remaster
8:45 Race name Terminal Velocity on the Ultimate Speed DLC [but honestly the name IS related to speed i guess?]
Burnout: Fairhaven
the cop cutscenes are proper bollywood material LOL
I loved Need For Speed: Most Wanted 2012
"I wish the cars would be faster" as he cruises at 200kph....
This game and Rivals are the most fun modern NFS games it feels so much fun to drive in these games
Ironically Burnout Fairhaven did 3 things right: driving model, music and multiplayer. Something Ghosts only achived in one game they've made and it was music in NFS 2015.
Just pretend this game is “Burnout: Fairhaven” and you’ll have a lot more fun
The main thing Burnout Fairhaven needed (gameplay wise) is higher top speeds for non hyper cars. Everything has upgrades, but nothing has power upgrades.
If someone could make a mod that gives Venom or Veyron acceleration & speed to everything else, that would be great.
Along with obviously needing to be a property finished game, but we already knew that.
I loved this Need For Speed! Brutal, dirty, loud and destructive, Criterion style.
its like start of the end, im miss the era of old nfs, not even the stories getting considerably less interesting and engaging, but the most important part. The goddamn physics, i wish all new nfs had physics same as nfs carbon or mw (2005), or at least similar, you just felt the car.
Bro im playing this on ps3 in almost 2022 and this need for speed is still good
Still ? This game was never good.
@@dejawho4147 Opinion
@@ce6ric yeah, it's your opinion when you say it's good
@@ce6ric pretty popular opinion though 👀
Same. This game may have a lot of hate but it has the best multiplayer
Could have just named it Need For Speed: High Stakes 2 or something.
It isn't similar to the original high stakes enough
Do not forget, dodge ram with the ram chassis was a tank and the easiest way to get rep
Ok, my take on how they could've implemented some sort of car progression
Make certain cars or a couple of cars open when reaching a certain sp limit, their swap points appear on the map but you have to manually drive to them and swap to be able to fast travel there at any moment
I really wanted to play this game again, but on my pc it stays on the loading screen endlessly. my pc pay attention to the requirements of the heat.
Underrated opinion car sounds in this game don’t disappoint on all of the cars
Y'all really don't appreciate what this game actually did and what it achieved as far as game mechanics go.
I hated that almost everyone called this „Burnout with licensed cars“ even though it’s somehow true...
Was a lot fun and I even bought the DLC
I've a lot of fun with this game with my high school friend by challenging myself to only use Ford Focus to stomp all Blacklist. It's RNG based, but it's pretty fun NGL.
"The game will be remastered by 2023."
I'd really like to see the Wii U version with the DLC on the Switch.
They should have just gave this game just the name “ Need for Speed a criterion game “
I like playing this game on PS Vita.
On Wii U ( which is the Best console Version ) You can disable traffic, change colour of your car, change time from Day to night and vice versa and also shake cops!
i actually had fun and is having fun now with the game.
but because of ea's bullshit way of handling things
like getting rid of the entire campaign, story, game mechanics, rushed release, crashcam, the title MOST WANTED for a burnout game, a half assed blacklist with no personality, the trash progression system, the removal of customisation, stupid physics, shit cops
but.
BUT, THERE IS SOME FUN IN IT
the graphics
the sounds.
the way i enjoyed it is i play it as a burnout title which almost made it as a burnout game, eventhough i hate all the EA-ishness in it
Its a good game, good car catalog, good multiplayer, perfect car sounds, good physics, perfect graphics for 2012, fun police chases and satisfactory soundtrack. Only Underground 2, Most Wanted 2005 and Carbon fanatic fanboys will say "Its a crap game" because they follow the haters critics without create a original critic. This game should be better in alpha that was a real Most Wanted 2 game.
fact
Honestly the only thing I disliked about it was driving around and getting very good cars without actually grinding for them.
i never played this game, i refused to, but admittedly, looking at the city, i do like the atmosphere. had of they been given time to give it proper customization, characters and cutscenes, this could have been a good successor to the original most wanted
i think this game had one of the best soundtracks. The track "Butterflies and Hurricanes" is damn good!
I played the shit out of the multiplayer in this game and really liked it, I just wish we were able to pick the kind of events we wanted to play. Apart from the takedown mechanics and crash cams, I think the multiplayer was very underrated.
I like how you named it Burnout Fairhaven
Burnout: Most Wanted. xd
same, i think the "nsi ven??me??? Fuck." is the most overpowered car
NFS MW was a pretty good racing game tbh, but it felt so unfinished...
For 2022 they should just copy paste codemasters handling model.
MW12 is so sad because it was going to be MW 2, an then EA fucking ruined probably our only chance to of ever getting a continuation of Most Wanteds story.
Yesss! I love this game!
I waited for this video to come out, been searching for it, it was hard.
And then I hear the music... _Yasss..._
it would be more perfect if this game have better story, no input lag for the handling, and visual customization
he still hasn't played Porsche Unleashed/Porsche 2000
Honestly i have a passion for this game since It was the first Need For Speed Ive played, Even though nowadays I only play Need For Speed on Playstation 2 ._.)
somehow i can't remember anything about the Soundtrack
I liked the game because the game looks beautiful...and because of the soundtrack too.
3:46 This game doesn't even have garage lol
Went on speedlists the other day. Had 3/4 people on it. At first i lost the first session & then the 2nd & last one, i won , it felt good lmao
It is actually a really fun game, it's just not as a Need for Speed or Most Wanted
honestly this is more of a hot pursuit than a most wanted game
Again, like most people said - this game should be much better if it wasn't named "Most Wanted".
That is actually good game. I liked its soundtrack, car sound, and that Fairhaven.
I love how all the cops in this game behave like rhinos lmao
also i'd like to add this game actually had the best open world imo, a lot of really cool map design :D
and the trippy cutscenes were really cool to me
The story is non existent and boring but the gameplay is fast paced arcade racing fun with unique game modes to play with friends and is (in my opinion) a true successor to Burnout Paradise.
The name was it’s downfall, as many got it confused with the classic MW (even EA has the wrong release date on the EA Games app on pc) and expected it to be that kind of game.
