That's why Vicki Lawrence was great on Body Language, the match Game, and Super Password, etc. I swear she almost went full Thelma Harper on here. (Yes this was the time where Mama's family about ended on NBC, but went to Syndication).
Combined with this moment, as well as her improving as host of Super Password (even if it was for a small moment because of a joke to Bert Convy), this proves she can host a game show very well. I'm glad she got to do Win, Lose or Draw in daytime years later (especially being nominated twice for an Emmy for her work).
He and Bill Cullen had some of the worst luck with shows, although Tom had 2 long running ones to Bill's 1, between Tune and the first You Don't Say at least. So there was that. They also would have the distinction of each taking over established shows after one host got ill/died (Tom of course not knowing that'd happen w/Allen Ludden till much later with P+, whereas Bill knew that off the bat with The Joker's Wild). I think they'd be the only two to have done this no? Maybe one more did....but can't think of him.
Yes, it did air this way. I just saw it last night on the BUZZR channel. It was a very enjoyable episode. Also, Vicki Lawrence is so great on this show! It really amazes me how good some people are at charades.
This seems to be the second kind of show that Mark Goodson produced based on charades. The first attempt was "Showoffs", hosted by Bobby Van on ABC for six months in 1975. This show lasted a year and a half on CBS. There was a pilot intended for ABC in 1990 called "Body Talk", hosted by Vicki Lawrence, but it didn't sell.

Love how Tom Kennedy tries to save the scene like nothing happened. The look on Vicky’s face is perfect.
That was funny, Viki L. between Tom Kennedy or Dick Clark. They were funny bloopers.
I freakin' love Vicki Lawrence.
shawn830 Her HAIR, THOUGH!
GR8 Blooper!!! It's rare seeing Tom Kennedy losing control like that. Gr8 Clip!!!
Tom Kennedy realized that blooper.
The score that was flashing the $600, was like the game was won. Lol.
Ahaha vicki’s honestly my spirit animal ahah

I love Tom Kennedy. I wish he would have gotten a better and longer lasting gig after Name That Tune though :(

not really his fault that newer, funner shows overtook his shows, he got work so it’s not getting the full blame
I guess Vicki Lawrence corrected him and Tom Kennedy realizes, that Marshall and Vicki won the game.
I love how Tom just went with it ...did it air this way?

I like how they waited until 2:05 to turn the lights on.
Tom Kennedy got confused.
Tom Kennedy didn't realize, that the game was over, and Bonus Round was coming up.
For some reason, the lights that show the winning team didn't turn on until 2:05.

Probably not as far stretched out as the French blooper on "Password Plus", but it's still hilarious.

I know Marshall!
@bluebear1985 I saw that episode, it's still rare though...
I saw that episode, too.
@JBTHREAT Probably not as rare as you might think. Ever seen the "French" blooper he did in an episode of "Password Plus"?
I have .
Yeah. Dick Martin did the blooper and one other, for a word, which was "lost". Tom Kennedy told Dick Martin, that "France" was an illegal clue.
Does anyone have an episode where Vicki Lawrence gave away $10,000?
Can you say "anticlimactic?"
...yea?
Tom Kennedy was getting too old, back in the 1980s.
