I've got an old loader for my 8n and I'm probably going to use an electric hydraulic pump like you would with a dump trailer. It will have a remote Reservoir and I've already converted to 12v so it will be good power-wise.
my granpa has what i believe is a 1950 ford 8n still with a manual sitting on the hill with a loader just sutting there unfortunetly with a hole in the block
This one had thrown a rod at one time and they put the piece that was knocked and welded it and JB welded it back into place and fixed the rod and it ran for 30+ years after until i replaced the block when I rebuilt the engine
It’s a Vickers vane pump, a Cross 2 spool both are double acting spools, I’ve had the bucket full of black dirt before, but I have a 55 gallon steel drum on the 3 point and that is almost full of sand
Thank you. Yeah yesterday I got the frame on that was way harder than I thought especially in 110 heat index me and my brother did it with a donkey forklift and and a skid loader still was challenging. I need to buy a 1” drill bit for my dads electro magnetic drill press. Then I will get part 2
Gosselin Farms Ed Gosselin yeah my one neighbor who is 78 worked at a ford dealer he never worked on the n series but later 851’ 650’ etc he hated loaders for that reason. Another neighbor I have put on on a Ferguson 35 it took 4 people grunting putting it on that was just the frame too
The Vid quality is very low. No point trying to watch this cause it does my head in watching this crayon drawn crapolla although the subject does deserve a high quality resolution in imagery . Still not everyone will be as I am.

what pump and valve did you use? Also what is the lift capacity?
