I already use most of those concealers you recommend for oily skin 😊👍 I approve the NARS RCC (spot concealing, highlighting, medium matte coverage) and Maybelline Fit Me (undereye, light natural finish). I personally don't like the Tarte Shape Tape because I find the formula is too thick and not easy to blend for me (better for spot concealing or full face makeup looks). I also like The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer (middle ground of RCC and Fit Me) and Clio Kill Cover Liquid Concealer (thinner, but medium to high coverage ver. of RCC) affordable Korean brand options, but I wish they expand the shade range. I haven't tried the L'Oreal one yet, but I'm interested in trying it once I finish Shape Tape. Thank you for putting this video together Haley ☺💕

So I have oily acne prone skin and have tried soo many concealers! So far mayebelline, Almay, Clinique, neutrogenia(same brand as Clinique), bare minerals, and elf have been the best in not causing breakouts and feels natural. L’Oréal and tarte was absolutely drying on my skin! Overall I highly recommend neutroginia, Clinique, elf, bare minerals and almay concealer. Neutrogena and Clinique have foundation + conceal! Just thought I’d give my opinion (: hope it helps!

The neutrogenia…they have one that’s named healthy skin radiant, another called hydro boost (silver tube), and a hydrating skin tint that is also a concealer. Last one is the elf full coverage camo (matte finish). I like to mix a hydrating concealer with a matte one. If you only wear hydrating concealer you can use a matte powder to lock it in. Also, with these concealers they don’t feel heavy on skin, it looks like skin but you have to slowly build up the product for extra coverage. I have oily/dry patch skin and these concealers haven’t made my break out or made me look extra oily. Usually oily skin means you skin is actually dry. So don’t be afraid of using a hydrating concealer! If you don’t want drug store products then bare minerals and Clinique ( same company as neutrogenia) Bare minerals has a creamy concealer and a nice skin tint with spf. Clinique has a skin tint that is more of a matte finish. Again, every skin is different but personally I found these to be affordable, looks natural, and didn’t clog pores.

This was so helpful! Thanks gor discussing fragrance, my skin tends to react poorly to many fragrances, synethetic and especially natural ones like essential oils! Bummed that Infallible concealer has a fragrance that causes reactions! I heard good things about it.
This was a great video! Do you have any recommendations for people with dehydrated skin (lacking water rather than lacking oil the way dry skin does). The problem I have when applying concealers is that they dry almost immediately and can't blend them out. I assume this is because my face sucks the moisture out of the concealer. What do?
It took me sooo long to figure out my oily skin loves nars soft matte concealer and tarte shape tape. To the point that I wear them as a light foundation. Nars soft matte foundation is amazing for oily skin if you can navigate their horrendous color line. As a bb cream I like nyx bare with me and for primers nyx primer spray makes makeup last all day (like glue!), milk mattifying stick is wonderful for controlling oil! Bobbi brown face base makes makeup last all day. Smashbox kills it. Chanel pearl powder and the too face peach perfect setting powder (compact) are the best I’ve found for getting the airbrushed look. Cover girl skin milk bb cream is also a favorite, they have a matte one as well in a blue squeeze tube. Out of my entire makeup collection those are the standouts for my extremely oily skin. Tarte knockout toner is like magic for oily skin (keeps the skin from overproducing oil).

I used to use skincare products for baby as I assumed it is 'safer' than normal products ahah. But I didn't see any improvement nor bad reaction. After several years, I see much more gentle and affordable skincare products so I don't reach out to baby product anymore!

NARS creamy radiant concealer made my contact dermatitis flare up Horribly......so upsetting cause I finally splurged on buying it and never reacted that way to any other concealer before and I’ve used many! My go to now is the Kosas and Josie Maran Vibrancy .....and for drugstore the Elf hydrating or Colourpop works beautifully with no reactions. Great video and informative

I always heard that BHA (salicylic acid) needs to be directly on your skin to work….so if you have serum, moisturizer, and foundation on, a concealer with SA probably wont do much! I love SA, it works great on my acne prone sensitive skin

hello my under eyes are dry and got some lines because of this. i m concudering about using neutrogena eye retinol to help. when i used eye shadow on my under eye lid especially on the outer pert my skin got so dryed and lines got so pominant ...should i just give up on applying eye shadow on this part ?
