Just to help you, there is no electric line connection between Nigeria and Ghana, it is impossible to give light to a country when there is no physical connection. The reason Nigerians claim they give Ghana light is that. Ghana buys natural gas from Nigeria to power it's supplementary aboadze electric plant. Ghana has had the Akosombo hydro electric dam since the early 1960's this dam continues to power Ghana's electricity needs. When demand exceeded supply, the country built a few thermal electric plants and that is when there was the need to buy gas to maintain those plants. Ghana in recent years have also built the bui dam. At the moment Ghana produces excess power which it sells to neighbouring countries.
My question is, if you buy fuel for your car, will the fuel station go about telling people they gave you a car? The gas was bought and paid for and so Ghana reserves the right to use the gas however they see fit. Nigeria never gave Ghana light.

I hate those using social media to create division among Ghanaians youth and nigerians youth, the rivalry between Ghana 🇬🇭 and Nigeria 🇳🇬 has been there for decades and it was base on competition and in the end we both celebrate and move on but today it is now a real hate, spreading of disinformation and making us hate each other of because the want to make money hmmmm😢😢 if it continues like this the future don't look good for both countries 😢😢

Nigeria supplies Ghana, Togo, Benin and other West African countries with gas through the West African gas pipeline.
The gas is then used to power up the turbines of the hydro electric power circuits.
In short, Nigeria sells its gas to West African countries through the West African Gas Pipine and each country generates their own hydro electric energy which is supplied as electricity
