New episode of a documentary series where I plan to present all the greatest players of all time and then give them a score so a ranking of the best players can be created. In this episode we take on Thierry Henry who played for Arsenal and Barcelona for most of his career , not only one of the greatest forwards of all time but one of the greatest players of all time. He was very strong the perfect athlete fast strong hè had everything .. played against Thuram,Desailly ,Terry ,Ferdinand was easily one of the strongest attackers sometimes unplayable.

True. He was so so strong, maybe looked slim, but literally no CB in the league was able to push him off the ball, he was keeping the ball with ease... Because of his pace and mesmerising runs people who haven't watched him closely usually overlook how strong he was. An absolutely incredible athlete overall.

Physicality should be 9 coz someone who always watch him play knows how much strength he have. He’s one of the striker who will not fall down easily . Everytime he fall down, he will not takes time and get up and go straight up to for other to take it quic free kicks

The actual fuck did i just watch ??? 5/10 for mentality ??/ helped France win the WC as a teenager finished as France's top goalscorer that tournament , he scored 10 goals v Chelsea his 5th highest tally against any team team and he scored 9 v Man Utd (One of the greatest premier league sides ever) his 6th most goals against a team also tied with the 9 he scored against Liverpool , he scored one of the best solo goals ever against a Real Madrid team that was so full of stars it was unreal ... the first English team to ever beat Real Madrid at their own ground . Won 6 Trophies in a single season with Barcelona finished the season with 26 goals .... as a winger ... hardly "misfiring" as you put it.

Consistency 6/10 ??? he has the 2nd highest goals to minutes ratio in the premier league.... EVER. Is Arsenals ALL TIME record goal scorer with 175 goals also has 74 assists as a striker!!!! still holds the joint record for most assists in a season (20) . He won the premier league golden boot 3 seasons in a row ... still hasn't been beaten also holds the overall record of winning it 4 times. Has a 157 wins to 39 loses in the premier league. THE ONLY PLAYER TO EVER SCORE MORE THAN 20 GOALS IN 5 CONSECUTIVE PREMIER LEAGUE SEASONS and you are trying to tell me he wasn't consistent enough ?????
Speed and physicality 7/10 ......... I'm sorry what?????? Henry was consistently one of if not the fastest player in the league, physically he was strong as an ox he would routinely bounce defenders off him , his balance and agility combined with his raw strength made him almost impossible to dislodge from the ball , this man went toe to toe with Rio Ferdinand , John Terry , Ledley King, Jamie Carragher, Nemanja Vidic, not to mention Kolo Toure and Sol Campbell every day in training and you are tryna tell me he gets a 7/10 what fkn planet are you on?? what football if any have you ever watched ??/ EVERY SINGLE ONE of those defenders i have mentioned are arguably in the top 15 in premier league history and you have the fkn audacity to say 7/10 for Speed and Physicality, crawl back into your hole mate .
Henry was a absolute absolute force of nature. In his Arsenal prime onstoppable. Speed,technique en elegance. When i was young i remember watching him on match of the day, he was amazing.

Absolutely true. I cannot remember any defenders just pushing Henry around. He was not known for diving either. He was obviously one of the faster players so I cannot understand why he was rated so low there.
The goal he scored against Real Madrid shows just how fast AND strong Henry was.
Great video, although I thought you were a little harsh him regarding his big match performances, especially when you referenced Arsenal's 2005/06 UCL run. For example, you mention that he only scored 2 goals despite Arsenal making it to the final that season. But you failed to mention the fact that; his goals were against Real Madrid and Juventus in the round of 16 and quarter-finals, respectively. Henry's impact on both of these ties was crucial, he was involved in every goal -- scoring two and assisting the other solitary goal.
Sure, Henry could have scored more but, I feel the lack of goals comes from the fact that Arsenal played a very defensive game during that run, and with both of the ties I mentioned earlier, Arsenal scored first and won both of the first legs, which kind of set Arsenal up to defend their advantage during the second legs.
In the semi-finals, the patterned continued. Arsenal came up against a formidable Villarreal side. They scored first, won the first leg 1-0 and tried to defend their lead come the second leg. Luckily for them, Jens Lehmann bailed them out of jail by saving Riquelme's last-minute penalty. At that point, Henry either scored or assisted 3 out of 4 goals Arsenal scored prior to the final against Barcelona. The final itself was unfortunate because with Lehmann's early sending off, and Pires being the one chosen to come off, left Henry doing a lot more running/defensive work then he would have had the circumstances been different.
Sidenote; Henry scored the goal that took France past Brazil and won the penalty that Zidane converted that got France into the World Cup final in 2006.

I'm going through all your videos and your ratings are usually quite fair and accurate but I have to say I feel you have severely underrated Thierry Henry.
As a football supporter from England I suppose I would have watched him more regularly than you but Henry is one of the best strikers I've seen in my lifetime and I definitely think he should have had much higher ratings on a lot of the categories.

Henry was immense and it could be argued he was more selfless at Barca where Messi was the main man in the attack. He was more of a team player.
Pls Henry was a force of nature in his prime years, one of the most deadliest finishers in his prime with blistering pace and technique like wise strength don't know where you got your ratings from
Brooo, 10/10 finishing and 10/10pace &physicality. He scored every possible way, free kicks, headers, long range, one on one with the keeper unstopable. His flair too should be a 10. As of pace one the fastest strikers ever and his agility and balance was great, he was able to beat stronger opponents easily.

The title should've been "How GOD was Thierry Henry?" In a nutshell..... he was the best striker, actually the best player, to have ever graced the Premier League. If you're talking about flair, finishing, longevity, Icon status etc, he remains the best in my opinion. Add to that, he was one of the best players in the season of the Invincibles..... what else do you want??

I'm sorry but you need to revisit this video. First the transition from Juve to Arsenal made no sense and I thought I skipped it by mistake, second the rating is skewed, you cannot give Henry 8 for shooting, man was an absolute long shot beast, same for physicality, many times Neville and Garragher said that they couldn't cope with him as he was too strong. Looks like you gave a bit too much importance to what his critics said, man was a force of nature.

Thierry Henry and Ronaldinho are by far my favorite living football legends, they are the reason I fell in love with football in the first place, they are part of my childhood... Henry should have won at least one or two ballon d'or in the 2003 and 2004 seasons, he was so unique and underrated back then, he was almost unstoppable and genuinely a very good all-rounder authentic player.

Henry was one of the toughest and fastest players in world football for a decade😂😂😂. A 7 for speed and physical??? Henry also scored huge goals in huge moments....saying he only scored two goals after the knockouts is like saying oh Iniesta only scored one goal in the World Cup Final. Henry’s big match goals had gravitas, your ratings were waaayyyyyy off here.
Incredible video but undermined what he did in the MLS, helped win the first piece of meaningful silverware [2013 supporters shield] and helped bring plenty of eyes and fans to the MLS. He also helped groom Bradley Wright-Philips into the most lethal striker in RBNY history as well as helped set up a winning culture within the squad who went on to win 3 supporters shields in 6years. Lets just say as a united fan. I dreaded the day my team would line up and see Thierry Henry opposite them. In my home of ny. My friends and i all picked a club to call our own. My close friend would become a gunner and i a red devil. And even though we argued what team was better. And even though i hated the gunners and he hated united. We both could not argue Henry was class and deserved our respect no matter what side loyalties reside. As knick fans we learned. Our team can only be measured truly when a worthy opponent challenges pushes and reveals who our team really is. Michael Jeffery Jordan would keep me and my friends up all night. Cause we knew he was coming to rip our hearts out. And the pure joy of the dream of triumph. A true test. Lets just say Thierry Heney did that for me as a united fan. I remember being so nervous but excited for the challenge his presence alone would bring. And if he was one of youre own. Forget about it. You could only swell up with pride. These are the thoughts only the great ones could bring. And Thierry Henry did that. And for that even though im not a fan of his clubs or international teams. Henry contributed to my dreams. Even though my dreams were to defeat him. P.S. who could forget when he stole the ball at the halfway line against Madrid and scored.

I would personally rank Ronaldinho , Henry, Ibra, and Cantona as my favorites. It’s not just the game to me, it’s the personality and the connection you feel when you see them play. I would even say Ibra and Cantona have more charisma than the others, I love watching their games specially Ibra

Good channel but, I’m sorry but this entire video and rating is biased as football channel you should do better. Thierry has just been inducted into the Premier league hall of fame for good reason. Thierry was the greatest to have played in the premier league. Even his rivals still talk about their nightmares of facing him till today. And yes he was clutch in big games! You did him and yourself a major disservice with this review. He should have totalled 84 minimum. With at least 9 for his finishing and 10 for his speed and physicality! This man inspired a generation of footballers, his goals and assist/influence are just mesmerising!! Have some respect and do adequate research.

Harsh with physicality - guy was fastest thing in football and strong too! Big game also low - yes he didn't score in finals but he had a handball off the line in 2001 FA cup final, had 3/4 offsides which weren't in the Euro 2000 final and terrorised Italy's defence. Plus he scored many goals against Man United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Juventus, Brazil, Portugal to name just a few. Definitely a better player than Kaka, Dani Alves and a few others!
