Tico, great talk. On 19 Jan '91, I was pilot of chalk 2 in helicopter formation that went up to find you. We launched from Rafha SA, crossed the border flying through dense fog with our TF radar and broke out to 200 foot ceilings. When we got to your last known position, given to us by the PRCC (supposedly from your wingman) we searched a while and then we were directly to where AWACS thought your jet crashed. We were directed to depart the area because Iraqi forces were DFing us and moving into the area, so we headed back to Rafha and landed logging 3.5 hours or so. BTW Not sure where the 130nm CSAR limit came from...Not us...couple days after your mission, one of our crews flew well north, in the daytime, to rescue LT Devon Jones. Glad you are doing well.
