Since Cross won the World Championship, we've had Gerwyn Price, Nathan Aspinall, Jonny Clayton, Dimitri van den Bergh, Glen Durrant, Jose de Sousa, Joe Cullen, Danny Noppert, Ross Smith, Michael Smith, Chris Dobey and Andrew Gilding all become major champions. Speaks to just how much more competitive the game has become. Wonder who will win their first major next, Humphries surely? David Schlichting Every event shown on TV is a Major tournament. ITV 4 shows the World series on live TV, so it's a Major tournament.
Only the World Series Finals are considered a Major Event, the single events are more like european tour events.
