    OMG. About time someone to the trouble to explain these tricks in easy-to-follow stages. Keep up the excellent work. I had no idea that you could make changes as you have described.

    Wonderful explanation and tutorial. Wish more people made such nice explanatory videos. Thanks for sharing your finding and the tutorial. I was wondering how to create my own styles without the DAW. Your tutorial is a savior. Thanks once again, and keep those great videos coming.

    Thank you so much! Knowing what you just showed us makes it a game changer for the Pa5X. I’m going to start trying to do what you just demonstrated right now. Thanks again for taking your time to share what you know.

    @Qui
    Thank you very much for a wonderfully well made tutorial !
    It cannot be done better.
    Before this, I have tested everything you describe, and found exactly the same methods you describe.
    This works incredibly well, and puts the Pa5X in a class all its own.

    Hallo Qui, een prachtige tutorial. 👍👍
    Het grote voordeel van de 5X is de 2e player. Hierdoor is het nog eenvoudiger - dan op de andere PA-modellen - om styles te creëren.
    Na 5 jaar 4X heb ik nu ruim 10 maanden de 5X -76 en een Nautilus - 73.
    Echt een feest om met Korg te spelen. Groeten Ben

    Great video on new styles. Do you know if you can record mid songs from the styles? Quick record function was always there in the previous verions.

    • @quirobinez
      @quirobinez  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that feature is not yet in the pa5x, according to the korg website this is scheduled for next year, but at the moment this feature is not implemented

    • @hnoormoh
      @hnoormoh ปีที่แล้ว

      So sad that Korg has missed out on a basic functionality that was implemented since PA 80 model back in 2021 . Also when you modify a style you cannot increase the measure size in any of the CV . This is very frustrating. Do you know a way increase the measure size ? Please advise
      Thank you so much 🙏🙏

    Thanks for sharing, i just want to know how can we import a drum loop while creating a new style as we can do in previous pa 4x, pa1000, etc. There is same option to import a loop then slice and save, but I didn't find the way how to import that saved loop into style.. please guide. 🙏 Many thanks.

    Thank you for sharing. How about if I want to cheat new styles without copying or modifying.
    Thanks

    • @quirobinez
      @quirobinez  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the most easy way at the moment is to export an existing style to midi file, import that midi file into your daw so that you have the label markers setup correctly, remove the original midi notes and create your own midi style in your daw. Then export it to midi file and import that midi file in to the original style you used for the export (so the sounds are the same, or you can change the sound in the pa5x afterwards). It's a more complicated process and more a process for advanced users, but it works really good, i've done it a few times now on the pa5x without any problems. But this video is to do it the easy way so that everyone that has a pa5x can create styles with this simple technique.

      all the info i have read is from the user guide, i'm not sure if this particulary topic is covered in there, but probably it is.

    Hi, how to copy fabric style to my user, but on spot that I want?

  • @samuelcharrier8164
    @samuelcharrier8164 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So,it's unlimited what you can create with the internals styles? Looks like!!!
    And,all the breaks come on too when you create a fusion betwin styles???

    • @quirobinez
      @quirobinez  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yes, it's unlimited and the breaks also comes through. The only thing that won't work all the time are the intro 1 and outro 1, because most of the time these are song specific, so if you are copying song specific intros and mixing them, then those will not sound good, but intro 2 and 3 will always work. A way to work around this to copy the intro 1 again back from the original style. But i never do that. Also you can copy variations and parts from user styles. For instance i have a synth pop style where the bassline is from the jean michel jarre oxygen 4 style. You can get really creative with it. The dance demo on my channel was also created with this style assembly feature.

    when i work with a style from the usb memory stick I can saved it but it does not let me rename it fro the list. It is quite fruustrating also when you want delete an mp3 song where you selet them to upload in the player 1 you need to esc and go to file to delete the song you do not want.

  • @samuelcharrier8164
    @samuelcharrier8164 ปีที่แล้ว

    Best tutorial on the PA5X i saw here on youtube. Great job.
    Can you create a style with an mp3 and a style,both synchro with a 4 click start on the mp3 for sync ?

    • @quirobinez
      @quirobinez  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      short answer: no , long answer: yes, but you have to manually load the mp3 in player 2 because the songbook can only store player 1 songs at the moment, not both players at the same time. Furthermore, you would have to prepare the MP3 in a daw like for instance ableton, so that you are sure that it's running perfectly in sync with the bpm selected and save that new mp3 as the backing track. The click track can be done with the metronome, you can assign the metronome to for instance output 1 for the other band members.

    • @samuelcharrier8164
      @samuelcharrier8164 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@quirobinez thanks so much for your quick reply. Yes,i work with ableton for the moment,and this PA will be probably is best friend in futur soon...thx

    • @quirobinez
      @quirobinez  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@samuelcharrier8164 especially if you are using backing tracks from the 70's or 80's you have to use the warp feature in ableton and quantize them so that they are running in sync with a standard style. But ableton is really good at these features, so you will probably figure it out.

    • @samuelcharrier8164
      @samuelcharrier8164 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@quirobinez yes,i have almost 400 songs warp with ableton...big repertory of 70/80 until house/dance/brasilian...lol

    • @samuelcharrier8164
      @samuelcharrier8164 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's mean you can have an mp3 of David Guetta without the drum machine part and add a waltz from the PA...? It will be special...lol but it's kind of remixing song possibility.

    I have one question.
    Can you record a completely new style on pa5x? Or is that only possible with DAW?

    • @quirobinez
      @quirobinez  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yes that is possible, but it's much more easier in a daw of course, but yes you can do it on the pa5x itself

      @quirobinez  ปีที่แล้ว

      you can delete notes in the event editor, press the menu button and select event edit when you create a style. If you want to delete the complete then just press te delete chord variation button.

    I like some of your videos. I think it would be better if you retitled this one "Customize Style" rather then "Create"
