Thanks, I'm glad you let me know that. Some people thought it was too long so I made a fast version that has the same content but in hyper speed. It's funny how intelligence can be partly based on speed even though a slow brain can have all the same functionality or even more sometimes.
Nice job Dave. I just spent the last several days on my AR Wing 900mm. I have the Matek F411 board. I was going to use an older FlySky receiver I had from an old quad build but decided to go the SBUS route. I had some initial problems with the telemetry cutting out on my video feed. I have GPS and am running a VTX up to 800 mw with a run cam. My Git Up Git 2 GoPro type camera will take the HD video. Of course, fly these birds on manual first and slowly bring in the RTH and other stuff..
Great video. I just flashed my board this past weekend. Waiting on soldering flux from Amazon so I can put my pin headers on. I'll be referencing back to this video to configure my board.
@@DaveMerc I did yes. I put it in a C1 Chaser. That was my first flight controller and since then I programmed and soldered together a couple WSE versions.
@@christopherstarzyk9209 That's great. Glad you got it going. I put one in a flite test founders plane then moved on to the BrainFPV Radix in an Aeroscout. So many FC's to try now but the Radix is made in the US which nice.
Quick question love yur video If it shows back not front and I change yaw to 180 and still doesn’t change after resetting z axis on the setup it shows my board backwards when the arrow is mounted pointing forward. ?
Hi dave. I have a problem with this board. Actually with bad soldering i removed the contact point of the Cam pin. Is there a way to solder cam wire to somewhere else on the board to get the osd display? Thanks in advance.
Good job young man. I'm curious about the monitor you have set up for your OSD? That would make it very nice for setting up your OSD rather than using that 7" monitor we use in the field. You got me thinking again. Thanks! Wander What I would need?
How about this from Wal-Mart th-cam.com/video/2h_P1JLVzBw/w-d-xo.html It will run off 12volts DC. The one you saw in this video requires AC only and is actually a TV that just has a composite input.
I have Mac computers that won't ket me download these items. I believe i flashed my board with the wrong software. I loaded the data for F405 instead F405SSE. I have tried repeatedly to flash the correct firmware but it wont let me do it. SOOOO FRUSTRATED!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
I have a nitro powered plane, and I am getting back into flying (1997 was the last time I flew a we didn’t have any of this technology) If I use this flight controller with gps and l enable return to home; How does one connect the throttle Servo to maintain a Constant air speed while holding in the return to home flight pattern on a nitro engine?? Basically what I wanna know is; will it give me an auto throttle feature for a standard Servo and maintains programmed alt and speed and heading Thanks
This is what i like about your videos as there in depth and explain stuff in detail
Best video ive seen for this FC setup

I've seen other video prefer normal speed
Great video mate! Really good step by step presentation.
Great Tutorial Dave....INAV is getting more reliable and sophisticated now.
thank you for taking the time to explain the configuration in such detail.
Great video , I like the speed at which you accomplished your tutorial! Thanks man!
Brilliant. Thank you for doing this presentation. Covers a lot of ground! Thanks.
I know I am kind of late in replying but thanks for your comment Keith!

I just saw your comment. Did you ever get the Matek F-411 Wing board working and flying?

Outstanding! As usual complete and concise! RDQ does veteran discount - also have the M8N GLONASS gps puck @ $15.99! thx Dave -
Thanks for the Video. Much easier to understand than the last "Machine gun speed" video...;-)
Glad you like!
Thanks Dave. Great video. Very detailed. I am going to put it into my FT Legacy. Great channel as well.
Excellent information Dave. Nicely presented.
Thanks your so much. It was chore to squeeze in all the basics in one video so I appreciate your comment!
Fantastic! Thanks so much for the help. Although it would be helpful to see some of the Github URLs when you are downloading things.
Your welcome. The Github URL's are in the video description.

I have ezuhf and did your way which works. but does your rssi go to 0 when you turn off your receiver and then bounce
around from0-23%?
Superb Dave superb.
Hi. could you please help me how to setup R9m telemetry on Matek F405 Wing, i use arduplane, many thanks before..

Not sure but maybe the RCgroups Discussion will help

i am using Ezuhf too, I set rssi_max =79. For rssi_min, since when I turn off the transmitter, RSSI drops to 0%, I did not set anything by CLI
May you are are using Link Quality which is not inverted like the RSSI.
Yes, I am using LINK

My computer doesn't show the STM32 Bootloader...any helpful hints on how to make that happen??
Go to the page where you downloaded zadig and there are instructions there you can look at. I provided a link under the video to that page.
It worked! Thanks
What if you never see STM32 bootloader ?
My f11 sucks it doesn't power up unless I plug it into the USB
That does suck!
is it really no RSSI!
Of course it has....bloody hell

Dont use there osd to get rssi....easy.
I dont think that anybody can follow your speed of speaking and clicking.
F411 - There a link to the slow version in the description of the video if that helps.
