This movie's biggest issue wasn't how quick the fight was, and how quickly Michael was killed... which is true... The biggest issue was there was NO BUILD UP to the fight... She had no idea Michael was around... He was just part of her past... Basically, no talk about Michael... And suddenly she was in the middle of a fight with him... One of my issues is how they seemed to move on and TRAPLESS house and all flowers Michael killed your daughter 4 years ago. You were traumatized by events from 78 but 4 years ago your daughter gets killed and they don’t find Michael body, eh time to move on normally. Uh. LAURIE, ALLYSON AND THE COP ((who was pointless to even build up and keep around cause he was forgotten in this one and just seemed to be a reason for for the flashback scene from kills and that’s it I guess.., that storyline was forgotten here ). Anyway these 3 SHOULD BE HUNTING MICHAELS BODY TIL THE END OF THERE DAYS. Not move on with Michael not even found This movie was insulting to any hardcore Halloween / Myers fan with a brain. This was DAMAGING. It’s so bad that if you’re not careful you can FUCK 1978’s Halloween in the process. That’s how bad this was .. for a tie up.
@Old School Pro Wrestling That is a great point... She had extreme PTSD from 1 survived attack 40 years ago... Then he escapes attacks her again, and her family, kills her daughter... Now she's all better... Great plot 🙄
I think it makes sense if Michael was super weak. Which, if I recall correctly, he was really weak in the sewer. Could barely kill the one guy Corey brought to him. But then once he did kill him it looked like he was getting rejuvenated. So I was like ok, killing makes him more powerful. But then he’s seemingly weak again when Corey takes the mask. I thought it would’ve been ok if they made it clear that he was still weakened. But it wasn’t clear so it was confusing and made it seem like Michael got bitched.
There’s also a scene in the trailer that I didn’t see in the movie... where Allyson closes a door and in the mirror sees Michael... makes me think that’s part of an alternate ending maybe
It was the original ending where Laurie inherited the evil and wore the mask telling her “GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN, WHILE I CAN STILL CONTROL IT”, would have been a solid ending.
I believe when Michael looked into Corey's soul he seen something in his self and some how the demon inside of transfered some his power and strength into Corey. Plus took it back from him in the end judging by the written but his body was too weak for him to take on Lorry.
This movie was a DISGRACE to the entire legacy of this franchise. I’m tired of this timeline having the praise it does, because it’s doing things that have been done. The “possession” angle = the thorn cult/Jamie Lloyd at the end of Halloween 4, the aggressive over the top kills = Rob zombie, etc. I’m disappointed in the fans. They did this for a paycheck, nothing more. 🤢🤢🤢
Also side note here: anybody else find the band geeks being the bullies kind of annoying? Whole time they're messing with Cory I'm going "shut the fuck up kid, you play the clarinet. You're not tough or cool"
Michael got shot, stabbed, beaten, and generally fucked up by a mob in Kills. Then he stood up and slaughtered every last one of them a second later. But it "makes sense" that Cory could over power him because he was weak? Nah, man.
I second this, this is my biggest problem with this trilogy. DGG & McBride flip flop so much on Michael being supernatural or just a man it gets so frustrating
Not to mention, they said killing makes Michael stronger and with the amount of kills he had at the end of the last movie, there’s no reason for him to be a week old man in this one. Especially considering the end of Halloween kills shows him destroying a mob and killing Karen, if anything he should be more powerful than ever. Lots of plot holes here that don’t add up
If you go into a Halloween movie for Michael Myers, I dont see how you could find yourself liking Ends. How many times did we see Myers vulnerable and weak ? They didn’t portray him as a threat AT ALL in this movie. When that cop kicks him down and he could barely get up or move his arm ? Or when Corey is wrestling with him, shoves him down and takes his mask ? (Can’t believe thats real) Obviously they had to try and tell a different story. The OG story and movie we all love was so simple, it’d be stupid and impossible to drag that out across three movies- I think we can all agree. But the biggest thing like I said was Myers, The Shape, coming across as weak and soft for me. I mean, you might as well have threw in the flashback of Busta Rhymes round house kicking him through the window in Resurrection cause he got bitched and tossed around in Ends lol. Also felt like they centered the entire movie around Corey, and it didn’t really have a payoff for me. This was essentially his movie the whole way and he just ends up dying abruptly. Then they move on to Laurie and Michael.
I watch them for Michael and how he interacts with the cast. I thought it was decent. For whatever reason, people want to see invincible characters for them to try to use as a conduit for themselves, but there’s a reason why so many horror movies fail. Telling a good story is more important than hero-worship.
@@christianc.christian5025 Myers isn't a hero for me. But, I wanted what DGG said he was going to do...At First. But, he changed his mind. So, okay, there's that then. There's the story that was supposed to follow through the first three movies and we were going to be happy with it (DGG's words); then suddenly, we're going to be angry (JLC's words with his tacit agreement). That's all. But, that's just a part of an overall opinion
@@christianc.christian5025 my nigga its not about invincible enemies heroes or any of that. They made Michael a joke he wasn't a threat. They establish in the last movie as unkillable to physical force. @@markmac2206 oh man you’re too angry. Do some fucking meditation, hit a goddamn workout and alter your state of consciousness. Then you can return to debate.

@@NoGovernment killed just fine after his wounds in 2018. oh thats right they bruised his torso in Kills. he's supposed to be a supernatural killing machine but ok you wannabe killer.
Mike, i argee at around @21:00, when Michael killed that cop. it seemed like he was like getting his "supernatural" powers back. from Kills line "the more he kills, the more he transcends"
Ok I found some words… the disrespect of Michael was unfathomable to me. To bring in this new character and build a movie around him??? THE LAST MOVIE IN THE TRILOGY NO LESS? I borderline want to cry because Halloween has been and will always be my favorite franchise… I am disappointed and shocked. Just awful.
Someone on Reddit joked that Michael was hit by Covid. While obviously a joke, it does make sense to explain why he was so weak and frail. 45 years of terror and Covid stops him, lol damn
First, I need to say that I love the passion and genuine love that you all have for Michael. Ive said this on your channel’s comments before, but it is the exact same as my best friend and I, and I absolutely love that you all have the same respect and love for him. We are kindred spirits lol. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve taken it so personally when they fucked up Michaels story over the years. * I was liking it to a certain point. We have been theorizing on the lore of Mike for over 20 years now. And when you explain shit, it takes away a lot of the creep factor. But there are ways to tell more about Mike without going so deep it gets cheesy. *It was tapping into one of our biggest theories from the OG. We always kinda thought, when the camera is moving around the house at the beginning, it was like the “evil” looking for a host. Then it found little Michael and we got our man. I thought, like Jay said, that Mike was actually using Corey to recharge himself. I would have been cool with that. * I agree about taking off the mask. Fuckin stop it. Michael is Mike with the mask, he’s not the human underneath. *Honestly, we didn’t need Corey’s story. We didn’t need to feel sorry for him if he was gonna be viewed on Mikes level. WE DONT HUMANIZE MICHAEL,FOR FUCKS SAKE. And I’m with Jay on the idea that he didn’t feel empathy for Corey, it was more so that he was realizing he was a good candidate to take. *At the end, when they showed Laurie’s house empty, panning around like the OG, it almost felt like the same thing as the evil looking for young Michael. And I didn’t hate that. *The relationship between Allison and Corey started making it feel like an 80s thriller and it went on too long and wasted a ton of time. *it’s like they had these ideas and didn’t commit. That’s what it felt like. It could have been so much better. My friend and I feel like we’ve been assaulted by someone we trusted lol. I feel betrayed in a few ways. But, like you guys said, as long as I still see Michael in the future, I’ll be fine. I just wanna see Mike takin names.
Corey gets bullied by kids that say "this one time at band camp" then punks Michael worse than Busta did. they really did that shit. they did. has everyone called Rob Zombie and apologized?
@@Sebastian04223 oh ok. funny how Michael never did that in the previous movies, he couldve made an evil army. i assume this has to do with Michael's age too right? otherwise he did zero killing from 1963 to 78 and did just fine. between 78 and 2018 he didnt fall apart from lack of killing either and he was old then. yeah he took a beating but he is supernatural so thats no problem for him...
Cory should’ve been on the verge of killing Laurie and THEN Michael shows up and “saves” Laurie in the anti hero way and then two duke it out and damaged each other to where they both died simultaneously. But having some young dude literally bully Michael and pin him down and take his mask like that. The same Michael they was just an absolute unit of a terminator in kills. And yeah the line “the more he kills the more he transcends” line explains why he was weak but come on. You can’t show Michael like that. Literally turned him into an old man who needs a carry out with a 50 lb bag of ol’roy every Tuesday at Walmart. Fuck that
I wish Blumhouse didn’t make us think they were returning to the roots. They completely switched directions with Michael’s literal supernatural ability and it was a painful twist in my opinion. I didn’t want to hate the movie and I wished I like it, but you can’t end this trilogy like this. Michael was treated as a joke, and got canned by everyone (what was that with the Corey and Michael wrestling scene?????)
Bro LMFAOOO. How is this the first time Ive seen someone mention that wrestling scene ? I almost thought I was getting punk’d. The hilarious part about it is Corey actually gets the upper hand and takes his mask ! I sunk in my seat watching that lmao
If you listen to Jamie lee Curtis she said it’s going to make a lot of people mad because they wanted to make a different direction on Halloween ends so that what they did and yes it made people angry
He’s not supernatural - he blurs the line between the natural and supernatural. That was Carpenter’s original intention verbatim for 1978, and that is what David & Danny stated in their original push for this trilogy in 2017. They still left that essence of mystique. Hence - Evil never dies, it changes shape. If you notice the original message of the original 1978 film, and Ends is the exact same. I’m a die hard fan, but I loved this. I respect others opinions, though. I will concur I do wish the fight scene was longer & had more action + I did not want to see him THAT weakened. Weakened is fine, but they showed just a bit too much for me. Outside of that, I was genuinely shocked that I loved it
One massive plot hole I found was the fact that Michael was so weak. I know that they say in the movie that “the more he kills the more he transcends” so since he hadn’t killed in a while and all the injuries he had in kills it makes sense that he would be weak. Until you remember the end of kills where he had an all you can eat buffet. So he should have been fully healed and you might say that “he hasn’t killed in 4 years so he would be very weak” but in Halloween 2018 he hadn’t killed in 30 years and was still just as strong as ever.
Terrible movie. So many things that were just horrendous. Corey manhandling Michael and taking his mask Corey being the lone killer through 9/10 of the movie Allyson falling in love with this random ass guy immediately after knowing literally nothing about him other than he killed a kid Allyson yelling “why should I believe you!?” at Laurie towards the end of the movie. Oh, I don’t know Allyson, maybe because she was right the whole time about Michael coming back in the 2018 movie!? Laurie’s daughter barely being mentioned, even though THAT WAS THE END OF KILLS!!!! If Corey doesn’t get thrown over the side of the bridge by those band kids, does Michael just fucking rot in the sewer until he dies!? Like what the fuck was this movie!? We waited 4 years for this heap of poop? 2.2 out of 10.
I kinda feel like Michael didn't kill Corey because he looked in his eyes and saw he was psychotic. He didn't kill any of the patients when he escaped in 78 or in 2018, just left them wandering around. Still not a fan of the movie.
Anybody else feel like after the sewer pushing scene when Michael sits up and looks towards the camera he seems like he is just kind of like "This fking kid!"
"Evil doesn't die, it just changes shape.". That was an awesome line. I was seriously not looking forward to this film but I enjoyed it. The cinematography and the font from H3 and the music and performances were awesome. I loved how will Patton used the tragedy to find happiness in life (as he tells Laurie) and I am GLAD we didn't get some long drawn out BS fight thing with Laurie and Michael.
This Halloween film will be discussed by horror fans for years to come. No Michael until 38 minutes in. Hawkins, Alice and Michael all sidelined for a new character. Feels like a new creative team came in and did this film. I'm truly shocked they chose to end this film this way😐
Might have been crazy but IMO it would have been insane if at the very last second Michael Grabs Laurie's leg and the Halloween theme kicks in full blast and he pulls her into the grinder with him. it would have ended both Laurie and Michael's story while keeping that supernatural element of Michael up until the final moments. If Corey can get shot twice and his throat stabbed and stay alive long enough to grab Michael when he picks up his mask, then surely Michael Myers, THE SHAPE could pretend to be dead and use his last piece of evil energy to grab Laurie and finish her off for fucking him up so bad in the kitchen. It might not be the best ending but I wish they did it this way.
I agree, it was good to see her finally get the happy ending she deserved after dying in the OG and H20 timelines. I honestly thought that Allyson was going to be the last one standing but I’m glad she and Laurie survived despite losing Karen in HK.
I side with the people who wanted Laurie to meet her date in a big way! The rule has always been “you can’t kill the boogeyman” and it’s not just a rule it was a fucking quote from H78. They should be forced to remake this movie lol
Jay your analysis on what Michael was doing to Corey is literally the plot of Christine…Michael Drains Corey and restores himself just like the car did to Arny…Which is exactly how Carpenter described the movie.
I felt it was pretty weird too. I felt like I might’ve been on board if it didn’t feel so different from the previous 2 movies. It felt like going in a different direction right at the end for no reason.
@@entelechy2020 That’s funny, my notion was that Corey’s thing would’ve worked well in ‘Kills’. Make a time-jump if needed between them. A copycat also would’ve done *fucking wonders* for the Tivoli/mistaken identity thing, too.
The only thing they could’ve done to save themselves was to have Laurie type up those memoirs and it just been a story and Michael was actually still in hiding. That ending was bs and I felt robbed. 44 years of terror and that’s how Michael dies? Cmon man. I’m so pissed at the movie. And also, these movies have proved one thing, there is no ‘Halloween’ without Donald Pleasance.
When Michael literally gets bullied for his mask by Corey I almost walked the fuck out. They save it kind of with the sit up. But in no way should Michael fucking Myers ever be bullied.
@@RicketyRooster what were your walkout moments? Mine was the bullying. Another was when I thought that they were gonna say the homeless guy with the beard was Michael.
@@chrisbucci5769 The scene with scarecrow boy killing the doctor, when he takes Michael's mask and when Allison couldn't realize Cory was dressed as Michael Myers.
When he was in the tunnel and just bullied Michael and took his mask was stupid. Really thought this movie didn't wrip up this Trilogy nicely at all it destroyed it and possibly the franchise.
I couldn’t help start laughing in the cinema right after Michael and Corey Killed the doctor and the young nurse. The next shot was Corey speeding away on his bike with Allyson on the back. For a split second I thought it was Michael on the back speeding away with Corey and I couldn’t help laugh 😂
I liked that Allyson unceremoniously ends the Laurie vs. Michael showdown. Also like that she's the only character that doesn't go on about eViL and hEaLiNg at the end. Instead she just leaves the town. Really enjoyed her arc.

Let’s talk about how that alleged “epic final showdown 44 years in the making” was set up. Corey kills himself, Michael shows up like he got the time wrong and Laurie’s like, “Welp, Michael’s here. Guess I’ll microwave this leftover lasagna and go to my callback closet.” That’s the setup. Like, she’s barely fazed. And then the WHOLE town shows up to the last-minute meat grinding EXCEPT Lindsey Wallace? We get close-ups of Julian (okay, fun), Sondra (wheelchair bound from being shanked in the throat idk 🤷🏼♂️) and Hawkins. Hawkins who never laid a finger on Michael, botched FIVE chances to kill him, shot his partner by accident and is the REAL reason for ALL OF IT. But no Lindsey - the only other legacy character IN THE MOVIE and we don’t even see her⁉️
Well said 👍 DGG and company ruined an easy ass franchise to make. Could’ve been a great trilogy if they fleshed out existing characters instead of introducing new ones each movie. They Focus the movie on a brand new character Corey for the final movie 🙄 Then just kill him off? Horrible storytelling
She had been preparing to fight him for 40 years in Halloween 2018. She did and won. She wasn't afraid of fighting or dying to Myers. She WANTED to face him again, after all he'd done. The film made it pretty clear.
Hindsight is 20/20 but I think making the opening of Ends be the opening to 2018 would’ve been better. Introduce Corey in the first movie and have him be an outcast that Alyson befriends. Cameron doesn’t like it and bullies him constantly. Everything else in 2018 would play out the same, but instead of ending the movie with Michael burning you take the opening to Kills and use it at the end of 2018 instead. Michael kills the firefighters and the town finds out he’s on the loose. Haddonfield mob finds Michael and puts the beat down on him only for him to get back up and kill them all. Then he escapes. Movie ends with Cameron and his friends throwing Corey over the bridge and we end with Michael dragging his body away. The story for Ends (minus the death of MM) becomes part 2 and Kills becomes part 3 with the addition of Ends’ battle. I’m totally cool with Michael dying and Laurie surviving though. As much as I like the horror villains I like to see the good guys win. It was ballsy to actually kill Michael. The final fight should’ve been longer though. Should’ve spanned a few different locations that leads to the grinder.
I don’t understand how Michael is weak considering at the end of Kills he butchered half the town. Wouldnt he be stronger since he killed so many people and killing makes him stronger? Why did he have to go into hiding?
This movie was pretty much a list of things I didn’t wanna see. I’m glad you guys got some enjoyment out of it and everyone who did. You’re both a little less attractive to me today though lol love the content! Also when Michael kills the cop Corey brought him did anyone else think he came in his pants? Lol
DGG pissed all over this franchise and Michael Myers! I respect y’all for liking it but I hated it. It wasn’t a story meant to be told in the final movie. The FINALE and they give us a weird romance story with Corey and Allyson and then tact on ending with a lame fight 🙄 They gave Halloween the Star Wars treatment.
Laurie said it in Halloween Kills. “The more he kills, the more transcends into something impossible to defeat. You can’t beat it brute force.” I guess that is why Michael appeared weak and didn’t start to get some strength until he got a few kills in.
Hearing this discussion was very cathartic! Loved hearing you guys go through all the stages of grief here. 😂 I think the biggest issue with Halloween Ends was that they weren’t upfront whatsoever with what we were getting. 🤷♂️
I don't know what to think about this movie. I've watched it three times. I left the theater kind of stunned, and then immediately put it on again when I got home. I don't hate it but I will say - they did an exceptional job at making every single citizen of Haddonfield an insufferable asshole. Not a single sympathetic character to be found.
I really really really wanna know what the story was gonna be pre covid when they changed timelines and release dates and such. Also did I miss something about the radio tower I expected it to be a plot point but no
If they just showed a scene where Michael had to take the mask off for some reason and Corey comes and steals it without Myers seeing - That would be a far more respectful way for Corey to get the mask. Michael shouldn’t be weak enough to be wrestled down by the neighborhood nerd.
This is like a 4.5/10 at best. They establish in H-Kills that more more Michael kills, the more he transcends. without making him supernatural then I don't buy how he was able to stand up and Kill Tommy and his mob at the end. Not only that but then be able to make it back to his house undetected, and kill Karen, then escape again. The first half should have been Corey "Feeding" him essentially, and then the second should have been a fully revitalized Michael on a killing spree, after killing Corey of course because that is something pure evil would do. The final scene should have been Michael and Lori Killing one another. What we got was Lori Killing a week and decrepit old man, not the embodiment of pure evil. As the ending of a trilogy this movie is lackluster at best. You can't look at it as a standalone film, which is essentially what they did for the most part. A trilogy is a three-part story, that is why for the most part H-Kills was a good follow up to 2018, but this last one was so far removed, and completely dropps the ending of the 2nd movie. I just don't understand how they could read the script to this film, shoot it, and then think they have a winner on there hands. I read a report that this movie underperformed at the box office and to be honest I'm actually glad to hear it. If I could warn fans not to watch this movie I would. They would honestly be better off watching Halloween: Resurrection, or Rob Zombie's Halloween 2, before watching this one.
I liked this movie more than what I was expecting. It wasn't perfect no doubt. I liked the Corey Cunningham character and his relationship with Allison. I liked the pacing. I liked the acting. I even liked the storyline. The ending was a little underwhelming, I agree. But a lot of it makes sense to me and overall I enjoyed this movie. I wasn't a big fan of the last 2 movies, but this movie may help me to appreciate the trilogy as a whole.
I could be wrong but I feel like Jay full of truth serum would give this movie a 4.5 based off of his comments. Nonetheless, love you both! Great video!
It’s like they don’t want to upset the girl who played Allyson who they interviewed here. Which means disingenuous review. I know JAY had to RAGE so hard that he would run up on Michael and just ragdoll and MUG him for that mask.
@@Leg3ndKilla687 I don’t think it’s that man. One thing I’d never call the WWAM boys is disingenuous. I think it’s deep rooted love that is swaying J. I get it! I’m the same way sometimes. We’re all human.
Actually, I was thinking, Michael HAS to drag her in...Never happened!? There were so many missed opportunities, but they also did it right! IDK, im happy with the franchise! We won't see another Halloween movie for 5-7years!
And he looks at the camera and says “Sup, Happy Halloween Everybody “. *Cuts to black. Halloween score hits*. I mean cause fuck it might as well have him speak in this shit fest I’ll take that alternate ending
I have said this a few times in different places but They should have gone full Corey. The way I think would have been better honestly and fit more with the theme of " evils effect on a town" Corey is the killer the whole time, you don't know it though, he goes into the sewer, and MAYBE sees Michael, maybe interacts with him (so you think)(unreliable narrator?). At the end after the big fight between Laurie and Michael, she bests him and when the mask is pulled off its Corey. Then slowly the camera fades and dissolves as makes it journey through the town, into the tunnel and Michael is dead, but not because Corey killed him, Hes been dead for years. After the event of Kills Michael stumbles into the sewer and just bleeds to death. All the fear was in the end unfounded, a brutal sudden resurgence of death over one night and that was all. Maybe the last shot is sometime later Laurie at the entrance to the sewer, ready to face her fear and confirm what Corey says in his death gasps about Michael's demise , the camera pans up as she makes her way in, resolved, strong and unafraid. Halloween ENDS.
NO. NO they shouldn't have......It was god damned Halloween Ends. It wasn't Corey and Laurie A Halloween Story........It was a mediocre Anthology story at best.....That should NOT have had anything to do with the end of a trilogy. It could have been an interesting Anthology story for the next film with Michael dead. The movie was garbage. It was a god awful Halloween/Michael Myers story at best it was a mediocre After School Special about how bullying is bad....The town bullied Laurie, the town bullied Corey, the town bullied Alyson, Corey bullied Michael Myers. IF you wanted a to do a Corey anthology story, you have Corey floating around in A REAL Halloween Ends that's not dog shit....You do like 5 more passes on your Halloween Anthology story to make it something more than bullying is bad and you pitch that movie to Akkad as a Halloween Anthology story, not the end of a trilogy..... Anyone who wants to cry now about "Hobo Michael" in H2 can eat a giant, massive fat cack now...Spending ONE year hiding outside of Haddonfield killing animals for food is a hell of alot better than T-U-R-T-L-E Power Michelangelo is a party dude living in the sewer lair for 4 years..... Halloween Ends is The Last Jedi of Halloween movies. It was Corey & Laurie A Halloween Story after school special, not Halloween Ends the ending of a trilogy that has been built up in 2 prior movies tied to the 1978 movie.
I enjoy the very very end. Where they show some of the spots Michael was lurking. I enjoyed how there was no music during it, as well. The original had the music playing /his breathing while showing the spots. Probably meaning he’s gone gone. This time it’s different. Also was pretty interesting how Laurie kept his mask. It was laying on the table, I believe.
I didn’t notice the mask laying there. But I did like the very very end too. The original cut to all the places he had been exactly like that too. So I like that the final one ended the same way, with him gone for good this time. And then Don’t Fear the Reaper coming in was cool.
One of the worst Halloweens since Rob Zombies, who was this movie for? People who hate Michael Myers and logic. Some low iq are saying this will be a classic. Explain this if you like this film: 1. Allyson for no reason instantly, from the first sight, falls madly in love with a serial killer, Corey. They have no chemistry and she is the only person who cant tell he's insane. Showing she is less intelligent than a mob screaming evil dies tonight. He literally tells her he killed someone recently, not the kid from 2019. I wanted them all to die from how foolish they were. 2. Myers is beaten and mask is stolen by a kid who was just beaten up by smaller children... which implies Myers could have been stopped by small children. 3. Myers is then destroyed by a 70 yr old woman in 1 on 1 combat, with nothing but her hands and a knife. 4. Myers could walk through fire hose pressure lift firefighters with all their gear on easily, now a few years later he stumbles and falls down at the fierce conflict of fussy children. 5. Myers is instantly best friends with Corey, pure evil, Michael Myers, not only doesn't kill an annoying kid bothering him in his pathetic sewer, but takes him under his wing and tries to teach him how to kill... Corey kills more than he does in this movie anyway, and he beats him up later.
Actually thought them playing "Don't Fear the Reaper" I thought was pretty cool, because if you go back to the original movie when Laurie and Annie are driving to go babysit, if you listen carefully that's the song playing on the radio! Gotta be a nod to that.
I felt it was too Forced with Allyson and Corey's romance. She only met him for like 15 mins 3 mins later she was riding his bike kissing .....like what?? 🤔

I’m starting to think maybe they didn’t know what they were doing with Michael from the start… 2018: back to more grounded, realistic dude in a mask…but super evil Kills: oh I’m going full Hogan and hulking the fuck up to wreck this mob and win the Royal Rumble after that near fall. BTdubs, I can teleport now. Ends: OK, I may have gone a little too hard, have you ever had a 4yr hangover? But these for real bloody Mary’s are giving me life…but maybe not because that new guy just took my mask? Psych, I’m still coming for you even if you slit my throat! Hey, no fair Allyson! No not my wrists…womp womp
jay is visibly pissed hahahaahhahahaha

Not move on with Michael not even found
This movie was insulting to any hardcore Halloween / Myers fan with a brain.
I could definately see you guys making a parody of Michael riding with Corey on the back of his dirtbike.
Corey literally threw Michael down and took his mask…. Just let that sink in! The disrespect is real! 😂
Kinda makes sense Micheal is like fucking 80 and has been chilling in a nasty sewer for four years. Dude should be dead.
I didnt like that at all, they made micheal frail n weak until he started killin people
That made Michael look soft being Punk’d by Corey like that
I think it makes sense if Michael was super weak.
Yeah total bullshit 🙄 They wrote him as an unstoppable force of evil in the last 2 movies and just wiped their asses with it for Ends.
Also the scene when Corey is on the staircase, asking "What are you going to do when Michael comes back? Because he is coming back"
@@ChonkButterz my gf swore up and down she saw that scene in trailer it never appeared in movie .
I believe when Michael looked into Corey's soul he seen something in his self and some how the demon inside of transfered some his power and strength into Corey. Plus took it back from him in the end judging by the written but his body was too weak for him to take on Lorry.
@@113KILL5I agree I would of liked that ending 1000x more than what we got :(

@@SINlluminati I was equally relieved and bummed out. The mental picture of Michael riding bitch had me laughing out loud.

I feel cheated that we didn't get to see the full cutting torch death. One of the coolest deaths ever and you barely see it.
Also side note here: anybody else find the band geeks being the bullies kind of annoying? Whole time they're messing with Cory I'm going "shut the fuck up kid, you play the clarinet. You're not tough or cool"

Michael died in the basement fire. For me
Who TF thinks Michael being a killer-trainer is ACTUALLY a good idea????? R U EFFING KIDDING ME??? awful
Michael got shot, stabbed, beaten, and generally fucked up by a mob in Kills. Then he stood up and slaughtered every last one of them a second later. But it "makes sense" that Cory could over power him because he was weak? Nah, man.
The towns people let him kill them to be fair out of fear
I second this, this is my biggest problem with this trilogy. DGG & McBride flip flop so much on Michael being supernatural or just a man it gets so frustrating
Exactly and not to mention he kill Carren in kill then in Ends it’s like Mikey was Ah to old for this shit
Lots of plot holes here that don’t add up
Yeah, corey overpowers michael and takes his mask but on multiple occasions he couldn’t handle some punk high school kids? Lmao
When Cory was in the mirror when he came home gave me Spider-Man vibes lol
Just left the theater, and all I can say is wtf. Feeling pretty damn betrayed.

My wife said so what now they’re gonna do the ghost of Michael Myers LMAO
Exactly!!!!
I agree 100% and how the movie was entirely about Corey then he just dies…. That was very weak. Exactly what you said no pay off from that.
I watch them for Michael and how he interacts with the cast. I thought it was decent.
For whatever reason, people want to see invincible characters for them to try to use as a conduit for themselves, but there’s a reason why so many horror movies fail.

schoolyard wrestling match in a sewer. what a joke
Yea they made some odd decisions
I actually enjoyed the direction then took it and I enjoyed the new Shape of evil aka Corey.
I was baffled , they really went an made a mockery of michael like that.
I really wanted michael to get corey after that .
No Rob is a embarrassment to the franchise lmao
@@sethurott9927 and this isn't ???
He punks Michael because he got the supernatural elements transferred to him and has killed a bit more than Michael so far so it makes sense

@@christiansullivan9732 yeah, I’m surprised most people haven’t mentioned it.
My head canon from now on is that Michael rode on Corey’s bike with his arms wrapped around Corey’s waist

It’s not “Halloween fans” that says you can’t kill Michael Myers, It’s Moustapha Akkad that said you can’t. His son had other plans apparently.
I'm truly shocked they chose to end this film this way😐
Turned his ass into Halloween Hamburger Helper

I still don’t know how to feel about this movie
Laurie said it in Halloween Kills. “The more he kills, the more transcends into something impossible to defeat. You can’t beat it brute force.” I guess that is why Michael appeared weak and didn’t start to get some strength until he got a few kills in.
What about the time he was in prison? He sure had no problem killing the 6 ppl after his escape

Lol me too
I think that was a rumor or rather, a fan theory
I think because of COVID the storyline changed many times.
It was nothing
All the speculation about it and the emphasis they put on showing it in Kills and it was just where Corey hung out
If they just showed a scene where Michael had to take the mask off for some reason and Corey comes and steals it without Myers seeing - That would be a far more respectful way for Corey to get the mask. Michael shouldn’t be weak enough to be wrestled down by the neighborhood nerd.
Michael and Corey literally were a tag team
The team up scene and the tussle for the mask completely took me out of it. Corey punked Michael WORSE than Busta Ryhmes did!
Almost walked out.
@@chrisbucci5769 Pretty sure I threw my hat on the ground at that part haha
You could literally feel the awkwardness in the audience I was with….it was rough
100% correct!
They’re also having one of the writers on in an interview so they can’t completely shit on the movie either.
And Allyson was good in the movie tho.
@@MaverykMedia exactly. Like when you get a new tattoo, but it's bad, but you don't want to admit it lol
I originally didn’t like ends but after a few rewatches I now appreciate how unique and different it is now
45 years of my life for that 6 minuet ending ?
Did anyone Else notice corey's boss was watching Hard Target , while Corey was killing everyone in the junkyard.
Yes!!! Van dammes hair!! Claaasic!!
That was his dad
Would have been cool as heck if Michael suddenly woke up at the meat grinder & pushed Laurie in instead 😂
Or atleast he wakes up and looks at laurie and shakes his head...lol
I thought he was going to pull her by the leg in that part and pull her in with him. Would of been crazy af 😂
I mean cause fuck it might as well have him speak in this shit fest
I’ll take that alternate ending
Hell yeah. And cut to black with the theme like in the end of H20
I have said this a few times in different places but
They should have gone full Corey. The way I think would have been better honestly and fit more with the theme of " evils effect on a town"
Corey is the killer the whole time, you don't know it though, he goes into the sewer, and MAYBE sees Michael, maybe interacts with him (so you think)(unreliable narrator?).
@@lutherheggs451 That's a hilarious title
I enjoy the very very end. Where they show some of the spots Michael was lurking. I enjoyed how there was no music during it, as well. The original had the music playing
/his breathing while showing the spots.
@@king_supreme1102 that song ahhh chef’s kiss. Love that song. Brought it all together
@@Rayspeace It made me think of Scream for some reason, though I do like it
@@LA_HA that didn’t cross my mind but I like it 🔥
One of the worst Halloweens since Rob Zombies, who was this movie for? People who hate Michael Myers and logic. Some low iq are saying this will be a classic.
Explain this if you like this film:
It wasn't scary, but I laughed a lot.
this movie had so many WTF moments 🤡
Actually thought them playing "Don't Fear the Reaper" I thought was pretty cool, because if you go back to the original movie when Laurie and Annie are driving to go babysit, if you listen carefully that's the song playing on the radio! Gotta be a nod to that.
If you listen closely in halloween ends There’s a grocery store verison of the song playing while Laurie and Hawkins are talking 😂
I felt it was too Forced with Allyson and Corey's romance. She only met him for like 15 mins 3 mins later she was riding his bike kissing .....like what?? 🤔
Can totally relate to how pissed jay was about ripping off his mask for the 15th time hahah and mike, I shit my pants when you said they had him “looking like he’s in a Korn cover band” 😂😂😂
He did have those little nut dusters 😂 gnarly facial hair
I’m starting to think maybe they didn’t know what they were doing with Michael from the start…
2018: back to more grounded, realistic dude in a mask…but super evil
Kills: oh I’m going full Hogan and hulking the fuck up to wreck this mob and win the Royal Rumble after that near fall.
The biggest sin this movie commits is having Michael Myers team up with another person. Dumbest s&@t the franchise has ever done.
