Man, you did a fantastic job on an iconic thing from my childhood. If Cobra had you in their tech department, they might have won a battle or two. The work that went into this has my respect, your vision made the original far better, Great job!!!
Absolutely Amazing!!!!! The coolest Cobra Rattler I have ever seen. I recently started collecting my childhood GI Joe figures and luckly now own 3 Cobra Rattlers. I'm considering painting 1 of them, but scared to death that I will "F" it up. Thank you for posting this.
Thank you! Well I have 6 Rattlers, so I had a choice to take the most beat up one lol And yes, it hurts to practically "destroy" it, but the end results are worth it. :) Good luck!
This custom job is amazing! Love the lights, paint, landing-gear repair and especially that mini-gun scratch-build! You took a classic Cobra vehicle and made it better. Ingenious work my good Sir!
@LightsNcrafts might I make a suggestion?, the only thing your missing that I plan on adding to mine is Cobra Fang's stick from the floor up made to look like older jets of that Era. The 83's straight up/ thin which is helpful but the 08 and newer models Fang has a much more detailed stick. Haven't tested the fitment yet though. Although think you incorporated the fly by wire stick to the pilots side. Can't remember if I wasn't at work I'd rewatch.
Wow. So awesome. I want to model and 3D print the Cobra Rattler. Hasbro won't make a classified series one. I keep asking them to. It would be huge, 2ft wing span.
I love it because there is some great detail. Did u use a air brush? I have yet to use one because I always just use the can spray. I put models together. Sorry just tring to get some ideas to approach my next project. Thank u.
This was my favorite joe vehicle of all time! Very nice 👍🏻
Thank you.
Yeah, one of my favorite too :)
Amazing 🥳🥳🥳

Amazing looking. I nominate for #CobraConvergenceV "Most Awesome Custom"

Yes indeed
First reaction: Sacrilege! Customizing a vintage toy!

Thank you!
I did choose the most beat up one. I promise 😁
Amazing 🤩

Indeed
I love the lighting. Beautiful job on the paint
Amazing job, the paint is spot-on! I love the lights!
Thank you! :)

@@LightsNcrafts You're welcome!
Beautiful work! Looks incredible!
Thank you!
Wow! That is beautiful! I have a serious case of Rattler-envy. ;)
lol
Thank you!
Cool, I was expecting a killer mongoose though
Love to see you turn that style rattler into a legit A-10 Warthog. Great work buddy. Looks amazing
Thank you! :)

Saw this on hisstank. Great first post!
Thank you!
turn this into an EDF radio control would be awesome.
I always look at my stuff and wonder if I should customize my stuff
If you have a spare one, why not.
That's amazing talent
Thank you :)
Really awesome!
Thank you!
Wow
Damn....wish I had the courage to do this to my Rattler or better yet have a spare one. #CobraConvergenceV
Well I purchased 6 in different conditions. So I didn't need that much courage to customize the most beaten up one :D
Awesome job I'd love to have one like this. How'd you get the fuselage apart?
Thank you.
I separated both halves of the fuselage using CA remover - but only the front section, so I could remove the cockpit.

A Classified Rattler would be huge.
I wish Hasbro did the Rattler in a retro O-ring scale, like they did with the Skystriker.
I would like to remote control a vamp or stinger. With lights.
Do a night raven!!
Stop it !! You’re giving Hasbro ideas, this is going to be a Haslab project $600 😂 , effin sweet bro 💯 , WOW ! Cobraaaa !!!
Haha! Thank you :D
How did you do that?
Do what exactly?
I just repainted the toy and added a few LEDs.
Not that complicated :)

@@benjaminstum6410 Yup, I used an airbrush with Alclad metallic paints.
And I do build plastic models too.
Oh wow how much to make.me 1?!
