First time seeing this, and it was posted 10 years ago!? Just the way I dig music; raw, sonic, improv gymnastic singing, speaking, playing, showmanship. A radiant still at 34; looks like he's being stabbed by lightning sound. Huge kudos to whomever filmed this, you didn't miss a beat.
The outskirts of town song was a nice surprise. I never heard him playing this before. Thanks for uploading this. I don't know too much acoustic stuff of Jeff. ❤
A truly singular unique gifted one of a kind inspiration and artist. Blessed to see him live in a small venue in Clearlake CA in 95. Life isn't just, kind or fair. RIP Jeff
Thanks very much Rev. Bob on providing these incredible videos which probably wouldn't be readily available to the public! He still rocks on with his fans and his new fans being educated by watching these videos.
I first saw Jeff when his first album came out, and he played two nights at a supper club called The Strand in Redondo Beach, CA (southern Los Angeles County). On the second night, the surprise guest was Robbie Krieger of The Doors. I saw him again at the now-demolished Los Angeles Sports Arena, where he opened for ZZ Top. He was funny, smart, and enjoyed talking to the audience. I miss him and Stevie Ray Vaughn so much. They were incredibly talented men who died far too young. Rest in peace.
Rev. Bob - thanks so much for posting the video and the wonderful words you wrote. And what a great performer! So glad he was with us, if only for such a short time.
Oh man I remember this guy from when I was a kid. I think I seen him on Kirchner or Flowers or some show it might have even been Carson and ran out to find an album. This dude is tight. Great channel Rev Bob. Thanks for uploading!

@ 21:30 he kinda does a "dive bomb" with his (non floyd rose) tremelo and the guitar goes alittle bit out of tune, When he starts singing he reaches over and quickly tunes one of the strings. I can tell you that's not very easy to do..
Pretty sure standard tuning. It looks like it when he plays, and the 80s guitar magazines would have said so if not. One A-hole columnist called him the blind boy wonder. Jealous of his big stretches and bends.
Man you guys are really lucky all the ones that got a say him awesome awesome guitar player beautiful beautiful man inside and out my goodness I still have a crush on him He left us too soon and he was awesome singer awesome guitar player awesome guy
Jeff was a sweet guy and announced to the sound engineer that the monitors were not working ten minutes into the show. That comment was after an hour of having issues. If you perform live Music you will get it.
Awesome.... lucky enough to see Jeff five times in concert..... a true guitar legend and a great guy. Sorely missed.
Lord, I miss this man.
See you when I get there Jeff
Amazing Jeff Healey he'll. Yeah
He truly was awesome R.I.P jeff healey.
First time I have seen Jeff play acoustic guitar - thanks for posting this video.
Seven people (as of October 13, 2018) didn't like this concert. They cannot "See the Light," nor can they hear.
My very first blues concert ever was Jeff Healey. Since then i'm a convinced "bluesman". All thanks to Jeff. Keep playing in Heaven, bro.
No easy place to be, coming on after Duarte. Jeff could handle it.
beautifullness in a human being
Great legend.....only this!!!!
Blimey I wasn’t expecting this to be so good. Great ray charles vibes in that voice 👍🏴🇬🇧

someone know, what kind of tune (afinación) used in his guitars? sound beatifull!

Just one of the greatest! Truly brought some new stuff to the game. But he was a little pissy to the monitor tech...

Jeff passed away in 2008.
That sound guy wishes he was on the outskirts of town I bet!
