St Martin de Porres has a strong & wide following here in Ireland, there is a monthly magazine to him, he has been a dear, true & constant support to me & I am always calling on his intersession. He had great devotion to Our Lady also. Thank you Holy God for the example of St Martin de Porres.
San Martin de Porres was my mothers most revered Saint! And now mine with Saint Michael! Thanks! God Bless you San Martin pray for me and our children!
I am pretty sure he has a website with all his homilies. I used to have it on my phone screen, then I got a new phone and I can’t remember the name of the priest or the website 😣😣😩
For the past 67 years I always saw the statue of Statue of Martin de Porres. That was my mom's mom. And she said that she had it there to pray for everyone that needed help because it was a lot of people that did not have food or shelter. And a lot of people didn't have families if they could pray to or they could look for moral support. My grandmother always had a candle for him. How interesting journey to go back to my grandmother truly believed in. Thank you for the presentation the share this with all my family tomorrow continue knowing of our legacy. Thank you for your time
Thank you st martin for helping me with many favour you have grand to me during my life getting job i put my intentions in your care st martin and i know your look after me 🙏🙏🙏🕯🕯🕯❤❤
GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDUNTLY FOR THIS AMAZING AND VERY INSPIRING SERMON ABOUT THIS REMARKABLE SAINT. THIS CAME JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME FOR ME. LETS SAY 3 HAIL MARYS FOR THIS WONDERFUL PRIEST. GOD BLESS YOU ALL ❤✌ 🕊🕊🕊🕊
I recently learned I did my personal consecration/dedication, (unable to be fully professed) with my Bishop, on 03 November and wanted to learn more about this Saint. God Bless You, Father, for this presentation! Not surprising, it was on St Martin’s Feast Day! Also interesting, my daughter is what used to be called, “mulatto” and of mainly Moorish ethnicity, from Spain and Portugal (and Africa), Greek and Italian - it does make sense this Saint was instrumental in my decisions.
My grandmother was fifteen when she arrived in a tiny tiny little town in South Texas called McDonna Texas. She live to be a hundred and she died in the year 1
Thank you Father, I didn't"t know St. Martin de Porres was so Spiritual that he levitated in deep prayful meditation as St. Joseph Carpentino and shared the the gift given to St. Padre Pio of bilocation. What a Blessed Saint with such Deep Humility. Thank you St. Martin we need your prayers in this confused world that has created a new racism beyond the color of one's skin and social justice is being worshipped and systemic racism is being used politically not for the good of humanity but as a vehicle of propaganda politically to appear falsely righteous by honoring George Floyd (an Afro-American, who is not a saint but plagued with addictions of creature comforts to bandage fears and worries with drugs) by knee bending to his images instead of Almighty God and lightening from the Hand of God strikes it down crumbling it, so we know their is no merit clearly by such superficial act and I hope and pray the Afro-American communities will realize it and the youth and that it is in The Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary that we find out comfort, hope and spiritual strength. St Martin pray for Americans to not be so easily divided with false political rhetoric. 🙏🙏🙏
AMEN AND AMEN!!! THANK YOU FOR MENTIONING THE WHOLE GEORGE FLOYD THING AND HOW IT IS BLASPHEMOUS TO WORSHIP A FALSE "SAINT" WHICH THANKS FOR CLARIFYING WITH THOSE HARD COLD FACTS. AND YES WE TRULY DO NEED TO PRAY FOR THE AFRO AMERICANS BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY SPIRITUALLY LOST AND CAUSING MORE DIVISON AND NOT HELPING WITH THE RACISM. GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDUNTLY ❤✌ 🕊
God worked a miracle through him and held a man in the air and run to his superior and asked for permission to put him down on the ground. Obedience to God is what the saints are mostly recognized, instead of the graces given to them by the Lord.
She was born the 5th of May in 1900. She died in 1999. The she is /was the pioneer of that Tiny Tiny Town. To this day still standing there. When we would visit grandmother there was always people coming in and out in and out of her house. She always said people she had an open house. Anybody that was hungry they could come to her house. Anyone needing..clothes ..you need pots and pans.. need furniture. Especially if you were immigrant if you need anything you come through my grandmother's clearing House. Everybody people of great need we're always welcome to Grandma's house... In South Texas. She always had San Martin de Porres... statue
They didn’t allow any black or native as a religious monk/priest/nun/ etc. for same reason as recently they fired thousands & disallowed to enter any public social place without a little piece paper that said you submitted: all because of ignorance and following leaders blindly. Hopefully if there’s a next time we will all speak up for rights of healthy people who choose their own remedy for illness prevention and demand we hold Mass, processions, Novenas, etc . I’m still angry but so was Lord Jesus Christ. (tables were flipped in days of old)
It is typical that this saint was one of three people who objected to his being made a monk. A similar story of humility references St. John Vianney I think. His superior received a letter of complaint from some of the parishioners, a collective of slanders I think, because the saint was making unpopular societal changes toward piety. The letter accused the saint of immorality, and when presented with these accusations he claimed that he was so much worse than what he was being accused of. Hilarious. Anyway, the 99 Catholics channel says he had the charisms of 'subtlety', meaning he could pass through walls and closed doors and such; and that of bilocation. Astonishing, and in a nation (America) which spends and makes so much money fetishizing fictional super heroes, in increasingly bad movies, it isn't astonishing that I have only recently heard of him.
Frankly, the TRADS like to scare the hell out of people and NEVER seem to balance their talk of sin & damnation with speaking of the love & forgiveness of Jesus for sinners. I wonder how many of them still wear hair-shirts, scourge themselves and beat their heads against the wall. THE BIBLE never records any incidents where Jesus cures someone and then tells them: I JUST HEALED YOU......SO GO HOME AND MAKE YOURSELF MISERABLE & GUILT-RIDDEN FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. That's not THE GOOD NEWS, folks. Note the NEW TESTAMENT message: I CAME THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE LIFE AND HAVE IT IN ALL ITS FULLNESS. And yes, I am a practicing Catholic who stopped reading all this pious garbage a long time ago.....not some Bible-thumping wacko. Johnny G. M. Rel. Ed.
Peace and joy with Jesus in heaven: There is one God who is eternally manifesting himself in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The Bible says, that we are all sinners. As it is written: There is none righteous, no not one. Romans 3:10 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags Isaiah 64:6 For the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23 (The word “death” in this verse speaks of spiritual death in hell.) Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Isaiah 1:18 Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures 1Cor 15 3:8 In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:14 For by grace ye are saved; through faith and not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vein Galatians 2:21 If you would like to receive Jesus as your Savior. Realize that you are a hopeless sinner and trust in Jesus and only Jesus to save you. You can say a prayer expressing your gratitude, sorrow for your sins, etc. the words don’t matter, but remember your prayer doesn’t save you. Your trust in Jesus and what He did for you on the cross is what saves you. The moment you trust in Jesus and only Jesus, you are saved.
Taking racist abuse silently is piety? Perhaps & Not whining abt social justice comment… Meaning allowing sin without making the sinners “uncomfortable” Meh.
It’s highly impressive that you managed to put a twist on the story of a patron saint of mixed race people and complain about “reverse racism”. Truly astounding. I didn’t think it was possible. When you said “.. he didn’t go on and complain about social justice” I kinda knew where you were headed. I couldn’t have expected that you’d be so brazen in your bigotry. YIKES
He even lie claiming that his mother was of mix race when that is not true she was a free black slave, not even in Peru people said that they always said that his mother was a black slave, I only hear that nonsense from white people in the united states
Howdy. Thank you for this. May Saint Martin de Porres, and you, please pray for us, as we pray for you. 🙏🙏🙏

San Martin de Porres defines loving the poor, healing as a lay DOCTOR. May he bask in the glory of God.

Why are the modernist clergy having it in for F.S.S.P .Trads are making the modernists nervous with all the talk of HELL AND MORTAL SIN.
