There are bitless... So bridles don't always have something in the horses mouth. But looking at a halter what i notice different is no brow band and no reins
Thank you so much for your comment. A halter is very convenient for cross tying, leading, and general work with your horse. A bridle is mainly used for riding as you can't tie a horse to the bit. Plus, it is much easier to put a halter on than a bridle. Hope this helps!

😂 no such thing as a stupid question! The halter is generally not used for riding at all. You will sometime see people riding bareback with just a halter and lead rope but its not common and usually done for short periods. Hope this helps!
