I know its has been said before, but you need to open up that area for working on cars, itsa total waste of space at the moment.
A big garage would be absolutely fantastic.
Think of the volume of content in the building process alone, then when complete, you could create content all year round regardless of the weather.
Just use the log cabins for prepping / sandblasting of small items.
The main workshop could then be used for cars / motor bikes / lawnmowers etc etc.
Please give it some thought !.

Was looking at a log cabin/shed need some more external space or maybe a storage container cladded or maybe putting a concrete base in and building a structure out of straw bales fixing with u wire and something like a wooden truss for the roof and maybe a wattle and daub exterior .

In that dead space Build a big shed with 2 sets of double doors on the front to house all you investment motorcycles keep them out of the elements

Re the tree, double check it's not protected before you hack at it. If it were me, I'd cut the ivy at the base, let that die back and see how healthy the tree is rather than fell it straight off. That's a lot of tree to get rid of. Just my two penneth anyway.

I've had a table lift for about 15 years now. Great for motorcycles but outstanding for mowers, snow blowers, etc. Use ratchet straps for everything you work on. No fun when a mower decides to take a leap off the lift!

That bit of land is begging for a sectional double garage Martin,
no more working on cars outside in the winter lol.
I built my workshop with an old concrete sectional garage, it's 9x3m and cost me 100 quid for the garage off marketplace. Concrete base, rubber roof, all insulated, fully plyboarded with power and clad with featheredge on the visible side and custom timber windows and doors cost me another 1800 on top. Its cushty as Del would say

Get the concrete ordered nice big space there now for a carport
With that tree being so close to your overhead electricity line, contact your electricity board and tell them you think the tree is dangerous and they’ll come out and take a look and might fell it for free. If you need any more help let me know and I’ll drop you an email with how to go about it which will give you the best chance of getting it cut. 👍
