PearlsAndFloral31 it’s bc they said “deep” she wasn’t deep she was more of a warmer tan there’s people out there who are dark chocolate color skin so some of the nude pinky or brown colors might look like ashy on them. And then so of the bold colors like red or blue and change to so it’s not JUST red it can be “berry” on them or pink tones.

Also all these "shes not dark enough" comments are really rude to Shuana who was lovely enough to drop everything she was doing over the holiday period to help us make this video more interesting than just swatching on one skin tone. Sorry you are disappointed. Also to address your point about getting people from overseas to send in videos... that isn't realistic. We would need to buy two sets of lipsticks or find someone who has the whole set... tell them to use the same lighting, camera and setup to make it look cohesive and comparable and then hope they send it to us within a day or so so we can get this up when it is still relevant. It is nice in theory, but it is not practical and we wouldn't bother doing it.

BN did arm AND lip swatches on two different skin tones, purchased all of the shades themselves (US $18, I'm guessing AUD $25?), quite an expensive endeavor, and that's not enough for some of you?! "Hey, you should have hired a model."?????? NO, Rhianna hires models. That's Fentys job and responsibility. A small YT channel NOT hiring a model or begging more skin tones to collaborate with them is NOT what is wrong with the beauty industry. Any and everyone complaining is more than welcome to drop a couple hundred $ and film a swatch video rather than just complain.
Yeah I encourage people to buy the whole range and film their own videos if they don't like this one. These are $28 in Australia... which means this is the most expensive video we have ever done. We genuinely did this because we were wanting to place an order and there weren't many swatch videos from people who had fairer skin, it was mainly videos on people with deep skin... so we decided to make one of our own hoping it will help people who are shopping online. When we decided to make it we went to the shops, but them all, filmed it, edit and upload it all in less than 48 hours so it can be up for when people will need it. We were just very lucky that one of our youtube friends was available to help in that time and make the video a little more relatable compared to just having one white girl swatch the range.
Well BN should’ve used a thesaurus and found another word other than “deeper” to name the video. It would’ve been a great opportunity for BN to ask fans if they could be apart. But i digress, I will just unsubscribe.

Kat, you have the most beautiful features and I can't get over how perfectly symmetrical your face is. Most people's eyes are slightly different sized or a touch higher or lower than the other and have uneven or crooked noses but your features are just perfect! So beautiful! ☺💜 Also, Thanks for showing swatches on lips instead of just the arm (as well as on light AND dark skin as that does make a huge difference in how lipstick looks).

THANKS. I tried the s1ngle one at sephora last tuesday and it looked horrible on my lips despite it looking okay swatched. I have the same skin tone as the girl on the left, so now I know which ones would work better.
Great vid ladies! Amazing how some shades look totally different on shuana and Kat! It seemed that on one arm swatch it was dragging and the other it would go on better, was it because the Lippie had warmed up a bit?
Thanks beautiful girls for making this video, I definitely know which shades to steer clear of now. I'm really disappointed with some of the lighter more colourful shades on more pigmented skin, they looked amazing on you Kat but had this odd whiteness on darker skin which means that even though I want them, I don't think I can make them work for me😩
I'm interested in buying about 6 of these lipsticks! (A nude, deep red, periwinkle, navy/teal & green ) I love the fact that she has included "basic" shades as well as fun/colorful/unique shades.

3 feet is deeper than 2 feet. It doesn't matter if you happen to think that only 8 ft is deeper than 2 ft. The use of the word is correct.

Thanks beautiful girls for making this video, I definitely know which shades to steer clear of now. I'm really disappointed with some of the lighter more colourful shades on more pigmented skin, they looked amazing on you Kat but had this odd whiteness on darker skin which means that even though I want them, I don't think I can make them work for me😩
