Hey Sarah! Really enjoying your videos. My granddaughter recently swam in Ewens Ponds, and could not believe how cold the water was!🥶On a sombre note, a mate of mine, a very proficient scuba diver and an incredibly fit young bloke got "raptures of the deep" in Piccaninnie Ponds and, sadly, drowned. About 45 years ago, now...I miss him still...
From the comments on my dive, I should be expecting atleast 10 dive video submissions from you all showing me how it’s done 😂🫣 Thanks for watching and glad I could show you some cool spots!
Hi Sarah i just found you a great video and the music is not loud not like everyone else seems to fail on. There is a lot too see in the Barossa Tanunda is a great little town to see and have a good feed Angaston and Nurriootpa is good for a drop of red Penfolds and lunch also i have been to Mt gambier years ago it's a nice place. 👍
ewens ponds, very clear water around 10 metres deep absolutely beautiful, you can swim thru channels to the other 2 ponds, we actually swam right down to the bridge which is the road. the beach below this road was covered in lots of dead sea life recently. stunk to high heaven. The Little blue sinkhole you swam in actually has an old car and petrol bowser, a few road signs, a safe. etc at the bottom. we used to dive this site quite often. in the late 80s. we had to have a sinkhole divers certificate in them days. Love this whole area its so magical. safe travels Sarah. xx
Oh wow that’s so cool to know, I had no idea there was stuff at the bottom of Little Blue Lake. When I was leaving there were some Freedivings heading in so maybe they were doing the same thing
Hi Sarah, quick one from Adelaide is Whispering Wall, just out of Williamstown, from there you can hit up the Barossa, grab a feed from Lyndoch Bakery.. then swing by Menglers Hill Lookout around Angaston... Always good for a Day Drive
Great video Sarah! Umpherston sinkhole looks beautiful; so is the blue lake, so rich and blue. Never seen or heard of the Kilsby sinkhole. I'm due for another visit to Mt Gambier haven't been there awhile. mmm for next week....you went to the Flinders Ranges but don't think you covered Wilpena Pound? I would suggest FR - Wilpena Pound, Hawker & Quorn Port Augusta - Inland Botanical Gardens & Yorkeys Crossing* * if you don't know Yorkeys think of trains and photography. It would be great place to catch the Ghan or Indian Pacific and throw up the drone.
You and your videos are the complete package Sarah. You're obviously stunning, however it's also the quality of your content that will continue to make this channel a success. Beautiful locations, wonderfully shot, great drone footage and so naturally presented by yourself. Really enjoying your videos - thank you.
Wow a big thank you Sarah definitely some awesome places tonight they looked beautiful. Those gardens in that sink hole were amazing . One thing was very interesting I have never seen is a lake with a swimming pool fence around it before. It’s a bit of a bummer you had known one to go snorkeling with because there probably would have been some amazing fish in it . Take care Sarah looking forward to next Friday night episode 😊
Thank you Jeremy! Yes so different hey! I’m always looking for an excuse to come back to places I see so I’ll just put it on my list for next time for sure !
@@sarahrosefoster if you do come back Sarah, PLEASE bring a good wetsuit with you. Even in summer the water is freezing in the caves, so you definitely need a wettie.
It is good part of the country we live in. You will have to drive another hour East to the Portland area with all the beaches and rock formations and the forest with the Great South West. Over 200km of walks. From ex South Australian that has lived in the Portland for 38 years.
Hi Sarah really enjoying your videos! I live in North Carolina and came to Australia a few years ago for 2 weeks to watch the AO tennis in Melbourne and spent equal time in Sydney. Definitely plan to come back and see new sites. Taking notes on your videos! Love your independent spirit. I will keep watching! Cheers!
Hi Sarah,Mt.Gambier area has a lot to offer,I dived at Ewens Ponds years ago and also Piccaninny Blue Lakes, there are also some good caves in the area to visit I was in a caving club back then.If you get the chance visit the Glenelg River and try to get hold of a canoe there are some spectacular camp sites along the river and great reflections of a morning on the river, also which model GoPro do you have?I think you have sold me on getting one.In the meantime keep up the good work and enjoy your trip.Where are you heading next?
I loved that sinkhole turned into a garden.... I have to imagine people are suggesting more swimming holes for the future(: hahaha Great work as always!
G'day Sarah, I've been watching your TH-cam work for a few months, was surprised to see you pop up in my home town.. Gee wizz you make the place look stunning!! There's obviously lots more to see and do around here , but with limited time...... You're doing stunning work!!
Wow. Hey, you need to work on your platform diving. Beautiful scenery. What is the back story on your trip? Just decided to go on a trip or did something prompt you to do a round the country journey?
Hahaha you would say this is me working on it, can’t learn without getting in and trying. Thanks for watching, I’ll be answering some questions in my next video so I’ll cover this too
Ewens ponds a magnifiicent place to dive , I used to work at Portland and when it was very hot I would swim there. Previously you could just go anytime no booking or fees involved, but now it has become an annoying process. It can be rather cool to swim and I have tried with and without a wet suit.
Manly worm hole in Sydney for sure! I have a video on how to get there. Depending on where you’re going and how can determine how much you can see however
@@sarahrosefoster I'm not surprised you say that. There are some funny named places close by too... Kongorong, Kalangadoo, Nangwarry, Blackfella's Caves just to name a few. 😃
Omg! Your videos are amazing and so are you, cheers!
Glad you like them!

Yes I did hear that booking is relatively new! Definitely a great place to dive !
Hey Sarah great video, your very brave to swim in the lake without a wetsuit. Do you know why the visibility was so poor in the lake?
If I didn’t know everyone swims in it, I would never have jumped in 😂 not sure why the visibility is so low on this one
I also can't believe the lake goes down to 47 metres. That's insane.
I live here. We jump off those cliffs into the little blue. The side bit to the pontoon and from the very top.
I live in mount Gambier
Lucky! Such a beautiful spot !
I live here! ❤
Watching your 2nd shave mate..
No clue what you’re talking about mate …
That’s gutsy that water’s absolutely freezing
I’ve gotten so used to cold plunges 🥶 keep telling myself there’s health benefits to the madness haha
How long did you swim in the little blue lake
I was there for around 1-2 hours 🏊🏼♀️
I think that you also mentioned that the water in the little blue lake was very cold
Where did you drive 5 hours from, Melbourne or Sydney please
Adelaide 😊
👍
Sara what places do you recommend for visitors who will be in Australia for a week, starting in Sydney?
Manly worm hole in Sydney for sure! I have a video on how to get there. Depending on where you’re going and how can determine how much you can see however
Just feedback......The hair at 0:25......PRIMO!!!!!
Thanks ! 💁🏼♀️
@sarahrosefoster ( PRIMO !!!!! ) Had too Google that Word
Thought that's what this Person was Meaning 😂❤
