I LOVE that, that's one of my favorite quotes in the film. Plus when he says it you can see this look of fear in the man's eyes, just a moment of reliving that. Way to push the Sheriff's buttons!

@@carsondoxsey4442 he's mocking him, the sheriff told him earlier in the film how he was an orphan and that the people in charge would get drunk and beat him and other boys with canes/broomsticks and it would make them scream

The opening scene implied that this is an alternate universe that is closer to our time, but with primitive technology.

I remember getting goosebumps seeing 0:52 - 1:36 when I saw this in theaters. Really shows a post-trauma side to Robin and brings out how similar the stuff around him is to the Crusade that he desperately wanted to end, like "now it's happening again!" and EVERYONE is getting hurt. Plus, when do we ever see a version of Robin where he turns himself in?
3:04 They forgot to put helmet on the guard who got shot first.
I think he was meant to lose it when he got shot but the editing seems to make us miss that part.

Just noticed at 1:32 a guard sees Locksley captured at rushes towards him, grabbing Locksley with only the right arm. It's much more obvious at 1:35 that this guard is missing a hand, who turns out to be Little John!

So… justice wasn’t done, the sheriff was just hanged, but from the outside he was just murdered.
They got the gold which was the key to the sheriff and cardinal getting away with it.

A problem that is growing is that they are increasingly doing it to real people too. Anne Boline was extremely white, yet they made her black. Cleopatra was Macedonian Greek, yet now she is black. Just look at every ginger in adaptations of older properties.

I disagree with people who said this Robin Hood movie wasn't good.
This was the best Robin Hood movie ever.
Almost as good as Men I tights.
I mean, I haven't seen it, but this clip is god-awful. They're just kinda sitting there while everyone around them mimes fighting. Nobody's even pretending to get hurt or killed. The only action in the scene is that one guy having an acid flashback.
