@@npdoughty1988 I’m sure he would. He’s obviously a champion. But running around the same racecourse won’t make him an all time great. I would just like to see him come over and try some European racing. And if not Europe a breeders cup mile!!
@@Jaam0119 a lot of top class horses would win that many times on the same track if that’s all they raced on and against the same field pretty much every time.
@@JD-767 i agree he's a big fish in a small pond but he is a very big fish. GS ran 1:59.98 for the 2000m in this race. And thats from a standing start and not with the run up US horses get. The track record is held by Romantic Warrior at 1:59.23 (if the References are up to date). I'd love to see him at Royal Ascot but neither the POW nor the Queen Anne would be suitable. I suspect he only just gets 10F and I suspect he wouldn't have the stamina for the POW. The Queen Anne up the straight course has brought many a good horse undone if they've not seen it before. I remember when they took Able Friend to RA for the QA after he won 6 G1's in a row in Honkers. He sweated up badly before the race and was beaten out of sight by Solow. But he was up to the best European milers on his day. Like Able Friend, Golden Sixty is a gelding so there is not a lot to be gained from a trip to Europe. I had hoped he would go to the All Star Mile last year at Flemington. He's not raced left handed before so it would be a risk. This year it is at MV, which would be like Mars to him. He's rising 8... so the likelihood of him travelling is diminishing rapidly. Its an issue with the legacies of all HK horses... its not often that their horses have had a lot of international success. They've had some brilliant sprinters though. A benefit of sourcing so many of their horses from Australia.
Shows your lack of racing knowledge champ. 28 starts 24 wins a 2nd 3rd and 4th. Majority of those being group races. Do you have any idea what it takes for a horse to keep performing at that level? I dare say not.
What a great call by mark McNamara when golden sixty beats romantic warrior in the group 1 Hong Kong Gold cup
Congrats Golden Sixty..Vincent Ho😊👏🎉🎉
what a legend!
If Romantic Warriot was ridden by J. McDonald, then it would become another story.
No lagend.. Lagend pakistan star
@@chakkowchau2922 What if James becomes Golden Sixty's jockey and Romantic Warrior is ridden by Vincent? It certainly would become another story.

What racing is all about!
As long as drugs aren't included like american and now Australian racing.

They race clockwise over there !? That’s a mighty long oval of turf.
used to be a Pakistani star record, now it's a golden sixty
😮
Good horse. But come over for the Queen Anne or Prince of wales and see what he’s really made of.
I reckon that horse would appreciate a track like Ascot tbh

Australia is where he needs to come, take on the A graders.
Come to the UK? You serious? Against our Namby Pamby mollycoddled horses?
G60....what a horse. But..he's done now I think.
Same field, same track every time 🥱 yawn.
Get any horse to win 20+ times at the same track? You won’t get one. I agree though he should of travelled away from Sha Tin.

I think he wins in spite of that track. I dont think it entirely plays to his strengths but still, its all hes known.
